This is an incredible store. We were remodeling a house and needed paints that would match what we were planning. The young lady who helped us has an amazing eye for color and she could really understand exactly what type of paint we needed and she helped us to create a perfect color match. She has really been trained well to understand what we needed. Her background in color made me think she must have been an art student in college. The project turned out perfect. And all because of the help and advice of this young lady. The big box store down the road was fine if you just want something off the shelf, but if you want true professional help, and need to match things exactly, then you must visit this place. read more

My journey with Dunn EDWARDS paints began at their Modernism Week booth in Palm Springs this year, as I was looking for guidance in selecting paint for the exterior of my home and new front door. After spending considerable time with me Keisha there suggested I contact Terry Hendler, their Professional Color Adviser. I scheduled an appointment with Terry and she was great. She helped narrow down my choices to 3 color selections for the walls, fascia and doors. She emailed me the renderings a few days later and I ended up going with 1 of her combinations, and later visited with her on the door color choice. It ended up being the cover of Dunn EDWARDS door color brochure - absolutely stunning! All my friends and family just say Wow! Wow! as their jaws drop. Terry and the team at Dunn Edwards helped make an overwhelming task a lot simpler. I am so grateful and highly recommend Terry and Dunn EDWARDS for the highly professional operation they run in the Bermudan Dunes store. A home run!! read more

Last year I almost had a meltdown picking out a paint color for my house. I might as well have moved into Dunn Edwards because I was there daily getting samples. I went back yesterday because I need to finish another room. I recognized immediately one of the cashiers and a woman named Reina was very helpful and even walked the paint outside for me. Everyone there is friendly, professional and cool. I highly recommend the store and they are taking precautions telling me to come back 10 minutes after so that the store does not get crowded.I highly recommend this place for your painting needs. Their staff is also knowledgeable and friendly. read more

I had a great experience shopping at this Dunn Edwards location, thanks to Terry Hendler. It was my first time repainting my interiors by myself and I had no idea of which paints and colors to choose from. Terry was extremely knowledgable and was so much fun to work with. She gave me some great advice and helped me brainstorm how to go about the kitchen as well the bedrooms. You can tell that she really enjoys what she does and it showed! read more

What wonderful customer services! Everyone is friendly, helpful and they go out of their way to make sure my needs are met every time I go. Sal, the manager, is a superstar; he is approachable, patient, friendly and knows the business for sure!!! Kim leads a fantastic crew--even the paint "cook" who mixes in the back made sure I was "taken care of" when he came up to the front register. Parking is easy and plentiful. A must stop for anyone looking to buy quality paint from quality professionals. ANC read more

Not sure how homeowners fair here but as a contractor this place sucks. Talk directly with the manager about what I needed and still a complete failure and providing it with over 12 hours notice. I don't think there are suitable to do a complete job with. read more

I purchased exterior paint from Bermuda Dunes Dunn-Edwards and was very pleased with the paint colors and quality. I highly recommend as well working with Terry Hendler, an outstanding color advisor, who helped me select my exterior colors. I know nothing about paint. I mean nothing. But we bought a house and found old paint cans in the garage. Trying to guess what color we needed and needed to get rid of the old cans. We called and they told us they could dispose of the cans then looked at the labels from the old cans to tell us what they could do. One was their color so they mixed it for us. The other was a Sherwin Williams color so they told us they couldn't do it but told us where that store is so we could get it. Dealt with three people and all really helpful. Thanks guy, good experience. read more

I highly recommend Dunn-Edwards Paints for your painting needs and home renovation projects. Dunn-Edwards Paints was referred to me by my professional painter and is known as the "pro's choice" for paint and supplies. Do not let that worthy reputation deter you if you (like me) are not considered a professional painter. Here's why: I especially want to highlight and commend the service I received from Terry Hendler for her professional color consultation advice. Like most DIYers, I thought I knew what I was doing and choosing wrt to picking paint colors and textures. Thank goodness for Terry and her company's willingness to provide her services (and at no additional cost to the end customer). After a few scheduled appointments including samples of flooring and furniture, Terry's professional advice led me to choosing a completely different set of colors for the painting of the interior of my home. The results are amazing and generating compliments from everybody, even my professional painter! And of course her company is benefitting from additional paint purchases and customer satisfaction with their excellent products. Throughout the process, Terry was patient (as I had lots of questions!), pleasant and professional and simply, knows her craft, ie. she knows and understands colors! Based on my experience, I highly recommend that you work with professionals, Dunn-Edwards for paints and Terry in their Bermuda Dunes store for consultation services, for your painting and/or home renovation projects. read more

Terry Hendler is Dunn -Edwards paint color consultant and she's fantastic. Terry's company is The Palette Preview and not only does she consult in store but came to our condo and helped us select the right paint. The store is extremely well run, clean and well laid out. From the general manager down everyone is very knowledgeable. Thanks Terry for helping us out can't wait to see the finished results. read more

This was the first time I visited this store. For some reason I always was under impression that they have prices well above others, like Walmart for example. But I was proved wrong. They have an extensive selection of pain and primers and of you look for same brands at other stores, you will see that there is a quite significant price difference. The only place where I was able to get better prices was amazing but shipping cost adds up and there is simply no point of doing it. Shop local! read more

Terry Hendler was a great help to us when selecting the right colors for our house. We thought we could do it ourselves but after Terry showed us how it all comes together we are so thankful we did not go it alone. Very nice, patient, and she knows what she is doing. If you need help with paint colors for your project (and who doesn't?) do yourself a favor and work with Terry Hendler at the Dunn Edwards in Bermuda Dunes. I have worked with other "color specialists" and I can tell you from experience she is one of the best. Terry helped me choose an overall paint color for the living areas in our home and suggested we lighten the ceiling color at the same time. It has made all the difference. Brightened up our living space and kept the warm feeling I enjoy. She also helped me choose a shade to paint our kitchen cabinets to update and add more light. And even helped me choose a new backsplash after recommending tile vendors. I wouldn't have wanted to make those decision by myself. Oh...and she is patient and a real collaborator, never left me feeling she was making these decisions without my input. AND she's just a nice person and Fun to work with. Will do all my projects in the future with Terry's input! read more

My wife and I had the opportunity to work with Terry. She was EXCELLENT! So patient with us, and guided us through some very tough paint color decisions. Sales associate Gustavo was very helpful. While on the register, the manager on duty for the day (white elder male) scolded Gustavo and told him to not be on the register. He was just trying to be helpful! It made the environment a bit tense. I would have given this place 5 stars, but I did not like the manager's attitude given to the sales associate (who was only doing his job). This was the first time coming to Dunn-Edwards (La Quinta), and let me tell you this was not a pleasant first impression. read more

Rude Dunn Edwards sales rep (young female with dark hair on the morning of 2/13) at the Palm Springs' Modernism Week display. Sat in an Eames chair on the Dunn Edwards site and was demanded (rather than asked politely) to get off the furniture. After getting up from the chair the girl continued to verbally chastise us with a sour and condescending attitude. (Why not display sign saying sitting is off limits rather than having your sales people scorn potential customers?). Please remind your staff that every salesperson and every interaction is a reflection of your local store and your national brand. Needless to say this rep lost me as a potential Dunn Edwards client and left a bad taste in my mouth regarding the Palm Springs store. read more
