What a disaster! Please read the other recent 1 start reviews! We've used this company for years but it's been downhill. They never been the best at scheduling as they always show up with appointment confirmation. But it got out of hand the last year so we decided to try and move on. This was 2 months ago and they're still showing up at our door trying to charge us for their service!!! We've email, text, called and told rep after rep we don't want their service and want to cancel. Yet they ignore the request and continue to show up. They've slowly turned into what seems like a huge scam that doesn't let you out of their service. They completely act like you never asked to cancel your service, And they keep your credit card on file so they can "conveniently" show up and charge you for "exterior" service when you're not home. Writing this in hopes they'll finally stop showing up at my door! Update: I got a call over from Connor at EcoGuard and he confirmed our account would FINALLY be closed. Each EcoGuard service tech who has completed service our my home is on time and have been extraordinarily friendly, professional, knowledgeable and engaging. I am always notified in advance of my next service, and should I need to reschedule, their exceptionally friendly customer service team makes the process seamless. In addition, I have never received such a detailed invoice via email immediately after the tech is finished which explains every service and every product used on the interior and exterior of our home. SCAM ARTISTS.! Don't waste your time or money. This group has no communication with office, according to field tech. They did a half asses initial visit with promises of a thorough yard, house and garage pest control. Eco friendly! They didn't do house or garage. Then when called they said they'd return in two weeks. Two weeks later, different tech, no communication as to what he's there for, follow up to first dude. Eliminate pests, he sprays my kitchen windows, throws a few granules in the front, when I step out he says, oops my bad, in the back for maybe 30 seconds, I found no granules in the grass and plenty of ants. He next appears at the front door with an iPad which he really wanted me to sign before he did anything! NOPE. Now wants me to sign that he was there and did his job, DOUBLE NOPE! And he disappears. Husband calls their office which get routed to the Philippines, only to be rerouted somewhere in the states. Long conversation, communication about what's not gone right so far. Send another tech out, says he's there to do the inside of house! WHAAAAAT???? NOPE, we explain, he says he's not there to do what the last guys says he did, yes documentation of pest control chemicals, nothing that appeared eco friendly/pet friendly! Of which I did not sign off. Seriously?? He says he will have to call his supervisor for clarity what to do. He gets in his truck, maybe makes a call and DRIVES AWAY, without further communication with us. Not to talk poorly against another company we were with, please trust me, Ecoguard is where you want to go if you would like animal safe pest control that WORKS! Their entirety of associates know how to communicate with humans, extremely helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. Josh is the name of the gentleman who took care of our home recently. He seemed very good natured from the start. even though I wandered through his way, because it is my yard, he didn't show any signs of having an issue but even smiled and said, "hello, how's it going". At first, I was skeptical. who the heck smiles nowadays? However, this demeanor stayed with Josh until he left. THE LAST BUSINESS Here is the deal, the last place, I could never catch the person doing the yard work because they were in and out too fast. That expedience showed in the last business' work. My wife has an ailment that ended up becoming an issue because of the bugs and infestation, that's all I'm going to divulge. They had 1 friendly associate and the rest seemed like they had to be there. Maybe someone was holding them hostage. Whatever the case, anytime we needed ANYTHING additional, there was an outrageous upcharge. For things I knew I could just DIY for under 5 bucks, this other place was charging 50 bucks for. That kind of thing. We never should have left ECOGUARD. I won't go into why we left, but I will say that it had nothing to do with ECOGUARD or their associates. From the first 3 months of the contract that we were stuck in, my wife was going on and on about the constant contact with flies, spiders and mosquitoes. ECOGUARD Ecoguard has always been friendly and always done a good job keeping our home safe from little creepy crawlies and wife and animals safe from poisons. Their product is to die for.... said the spider! But the really good thing is my dog is healthy. She doesn't have extra legs growing from her or giant masses popping from her. I have had ecoguard come to check both my rats and bee infestations and both have not been resolved. In March they put traps Into my home and then never came back to check the traps for rat activity. Now it is June and there is not only rat activity on the roof but now in my home behind my washer and dryer. We also had them come for a bee infestation. We told them we believed they were coming through our vents and showed proof of the bee activity but the guy that came to check for them didn't bring the correct equipment, including a ladder to check the roof. He told us if he had the ladder he would check the roof but as soon as we were about to give him a ladder to use he then said he didn't feel comfortable going to the roof to check and see if they were there and then left without finishing his job.
