If I'd really thought about it as opposed to reacting at the time of our service, I would have realized that this was just an error and not a normal way this company does business. I do not recommend starting business with this company as a young family. They charge $55 bi monthly with a written agreement. Not only did they schedule the appointments for us without consent or even making sure we were home, but they then also charged our account without notice. Both of which are NOT stated in the agreement. I do not know if they ever even came, since I was NEVER home when services were provided. We had some unforeseen hardships in our home & had to skip 2 services during the agreed upon dates. Well, the contract dates have now ended & they are harassing me to complete the 2 services we had to skip. They lack all tact & all compassion. I understand needing your customers to pay you for services rendered, but nothing was done for those services skipped. The contract has ended. This company acted outside of the contract while it was active, so I do not feel the need to schedule the last two that we HAD to skip (and not only because we cannot pay it at the moment) We will NOT continue to use this company, we will NOT refer them out any longer (yes we referred them & they got mire business because of us). They have no authorization to charge our account at this point & we will dispute ALL charges made. read more

I had another company doing my pest control. I was under the assumption that termites were part of the plan. When I noticed a termite infestation, I called affordable. It turns out my previous company were not licensed not treated for termites. Not only did Affordable understand my concern, they had a technician at my door within 30 minutes. The technician was very friendly and knowledgeable. I had a quote for the immediate infestation and long term coverage cheaper than my existing that didn't even cover termites. The phone customer service was also spectacular. The price was very reasonable, and the peace of mind made it easy. Definitely better than my previous choice and about half the price. read more

I arrived at my winter house in Queen Creek after being gone for a couple of months. While unpacking I noticed a couple of little fuzzy beetles on a bedspread and upon further investigation I found more on the carpet. Checked on google and suspected they were carpet beetles. I did an internet search for pest control companies and being that it was Sunday afternoon all I got were answering machines. When I called Affordable Pest, I was shocked that Mike answered and actually asked "when do you want me there"? I called his bluff and said "now is good", he was at my door 20 minutes later. Mike confirmed they were varied carpet beetles, treated the inside and out, and I signed up for bi-monthly service and haven't had a problem since. Then they threaten to send you to collections for requesting a cancellation of services. Stay far away from this company. read more
