In Nov 2023 , Argo Decks repaired my sinking backyard wooden deck. It sinks about 2 inches per 5 years. This was the second such fix in 10 years. Argo gave me a detailed estimate and included specific procedures, materials, and work that would/may solve the problem longer term. Their estimate was in line with two other estimates, and I thought their proposed solution was a better approach. They started work on the date as they protected. They worked exceptionally hard on a very hard job! They worked solidly on the job until finished. After completing the job, they returned to tell me about what they found and did. I asked for recommendations on future work that might need doing or might be nice on this 30 year old deck. They gave me detailed options. We definitely will hire Argo again if need be, and definitely recommend them. read more

Argo offered the best value for the price compared to many others who provided quotes. They offered more thorough services such as power-washing and prepping before working on the new deck, sanding, replacing all the top boards, identifying and replacing the rotted/broken boards, removing the fascia, and applying two coats of paint, as well as protecting the house from getting painted, and cleanup afterwards. Petru was quick to respond with detailed quotes in the contract, and quick to schedule after I agreed to the quote. I would definitely recommend Petru and his team. The whole process from start to finish was easy, efficient, and well worth it. My deck now looks brand new and we are so happy with the results. The person who came out was about as pleasant as a root canal!! He never cracked a smile or any pleasantries. He had a "know it all" attitude and spent only about 15 minutes there, max. I was told I would get an estimate in 3 - 5 days. After 7 days I called the number and it was answered by an "hello"? For a business? It was a guy's cell phone. I asked for the estimate and he said I'd get it that day, yesterday. I got the weirdest e-Mail where I had to "accept" the estimate. It was broken down into 5 estimates. You have to "accept the estimate" before you can "see" the estimate. It then said I rejected the other estimates???? This company was the highest by far of the 3 companies I got quotes from. The last company I contacted spent about 30 minutes checking EVERYTHING on my upper and lower deck. Stuff neither company checked. And, their price was the cheapest!! read more

Petru did a fantastic job on our front porch replacement of rotted railings and support beams. He was very responsive to all of my emails, questions and phone calls. He scheduled an initial estimate and got back to me within the day, with the estimate and the date that he was able to start and finish my project. He scheduled it about 1 week from when the contract was signed. He provided 2 referrals to me, both of whom were very pleased with his work. When the materials failed to arrive on the scheduled date, he emailed me and kept me informed about when he would be able to get the project done (the next day, when the materials arrived). Let me mention that I reside in Alaska, and my house is in Virginia, so I could not be on site; I trusted his professionalism and was very, very pleased with the results(as are my renters).
