I filled out the online form and within a few hours, Lisa contacted me. Cliff came out to look at the space within a few days. I was so impressed with his knowledge (permits, codes, expectations, etc.) and what we would need to do in order to make everything work. We loved the deck design he came up with and were excited they could fit us in before the end of the season. They only have one crew, so we did have to wait a few months until they started. Cliff kept us up-to-date on the start time and what to expect on weekly (or more than weekly) basis. We were so happy with the quality of craftsmanship and the friendliness of the crew, I can understand why they only have one crew. Cliff is on-site for (and assisting with) the build. He was honest, friendly and very accommodating. I cannot say enough about Whitmer Decks. You should use them!

From our very first meeting with Cliff (the company owner!) to the final walk-through with Sam, the project manager, the experience was exceptional every step of the way. The communication throughout the entire process was outstanding. Not once did we feel anything less than a top priority. Texts were answered within an hour, and emails were always returned within hours. That level of responsiveness gave us complete confidence and peace of mind. Mike, Pavlo, and Wade were the primary builders, and they were phenomenal. They treated us like rock stars during the entire three-and-a-half-week build. Mike, the lead carpenter, took the time to explain every phase of the project in detail, which my wife and I truly appreciated. Whitmer Decks removed our old deck and built a beautiful new 14x12 screened porch, along with a 10x10 deck and staircase. I'm no professional photographer, but the results speak for themselves--we are absolutely thrilled. We can't wait for warmer weather so we can fully enjoy our stunning new space. The craftsmanship is simply incredible. These guys are true artists. Every time we look at the work Whitmer Decks completed, we're blown away all over again. Thank you to Cliff, Sam, Mike, Pavlo, Wade, Keen--and Spark Roofing as well. You are all amazing, and we will not hesitate to give our highest recommendation to anyone who asks. I want to mention that their estimate/upgrade process was incredibly easy and actually fun to work with! Each upgrade came with about 5-10 photos that were VERY helpful in envisioning what the final product would actually look like! With gratitude, Shawn Purcell
