I just had Steve install a 240 volt outlet in my garage for my new electric car. He was one of three, recommended by Tesla, that I contacted. The estimates from all three were about the same price but on the phone Steve seemed more responsive & professional. He was very efficient in surveying the place, and understanding the power requirements. Steve responded immediately to my text on Sunday and Anthony was at our home on Monday to give us am estimate for our Tesla power install. Easy to schedule the power install that week. Had to pull a permit, rearrange our panel to make room, drill through an exterior wall and run a conduit behind some cabinets. No sweat for Anthony. Made room on the panel, drilled the wall, emptied the cabinets, ran the conduit, installed two outlets, arranged and passed the city inspectiin and put everything back in the cabinet exactly as before all in a few hours time for an eminently reasonable price. I received Eco-Teck information from Tesla. I am 100% disappointed in Steven's professionalism. I called Eco-Teck for a quote three weeks prior to receiving my model III. We chatted on the phone and he requested I take photos of my electric panel and indicated he would love to do the job - I thought I found the right electrician. I sent the pictures in a text message. Several days later he said I needed to email him the photos. So as requested, I emailed the pictures. After not hearing from him, I contacted him again and he indicated he needed more photos. I took those as well, and sent them. Now, we are a week before I get my car. Still, no response. Now it is four days before I get my car - and I had to reach out to Eco-Teck again. I get a text message the following day saying that they are too busy to do the job. Why the hell not tell me that three weeks ago - I could of had a real profession who wanted to work. Now I can not charge my car at home and have to wait for another electrician. Again - I would not use this group at all. read more

Just ordered a model S and was referred to Steve by tesla along with a few other electrical companies to install a NEMA 14-50 outlet. Steve is awesome!!!! explained the whole process and what to expect. Got quotes from the other companies and he was willing to work with me and match them. I preferred to go with him because he spent the time to answer all my questions, was very thorough with inspecting the house, up front with telling me the potential expected holes in the dry wall and very considerate of our home. He suggested alternative sites that would be inconspicuous and in the end his guys made minimal holes and didn't even touch a wall that we were expecting to. They made the whole process extremely easy, non invasive and completed the work faster than expected as well.
