What the heck was that. That presentation ? Lemon grass look better for less money. I had basil tree in middle of the bowl. Taste ? It tasted like miso soup .. I add chicken dont know why and it was dry plain chicken even inside soup. 34$ ... Shareable plates for two from the menu .. Its just dont match the price. Nothing. Publix sushi . Miso ramen soup .. I complain on food and waitress smile ask if we want a dessert menu .. Lemongrass not good but better then here .. Drive to Gainesville and try Dragonfly restaurant. Compare .. Quality vs price .. Went for a Saturday night dinner. Way overpriced for the small portions and several dishes completely lacked any flavor. Yellowfin shashimi came with 4 thin slices for fish with no sauce or dressing to accompany it for nearly 30 dollars was insane as it was not tasty at all. The rice less sushi roll had nice portion of fish but again, lacked flavor it really needed a sauce or some sort of sesame seed topping. Miso sea bass was the highlight of the night but the portion was very, very small for over 50$. Flat top beef would not recommend. read more

The atmosphere of Echo doesn't feel at all like other restaurants in Palm Beach, but rather like a spot in Vegas or even Miami. It's definitely a great spot for a date night or a fun dinner with friends. The pork spare ribs were excellent, but I absolutely loved the pork potstickers. They tasted like there was almost a crispy coating on the potsticker wrapper, and the pork was seasoned perfectly. I opted for the Palm Beach sushi roll, which was very good, but nothing I haven't had at other restaurants. The seaweed salad was also pretty standard. However, I would be interested in trying the Dim Sum sampler on our next visit, as I saw a few other tables order that while we were there. Love this place. Unfortunately, we don't come here as often as we would like. Palm Beach is great for Italian and French food as there are so many of these restaurants, Echo is a nice and delicious change. We usually order every appetizer and share. They are all so good, especially the Bang Bang Shrimp. Service is alway top notch and the decor is always in Bristol fashion. read more

Everything was so yummy and it was a great first experience. The rolls were well made and tasted fresh. Also the drinks were good. The miso soup was also good but I expected soft tofu to be used in it and it was the firm kind. And lucky for us, they made a mistake and we got two drinks on the house. I'm not sure why we had to sit outside when the inside tables were empty and our whole dinner there was little to few people eating inside. It's also alarming that on a Saturday night it was so empty around 8PM. I would go back although finding parking was a tad difficult. read more

This was my 2nd time dining here, 1st time having their sushi. Their happy hour specials on sushi aren't just a great deal, but a wonderful evening out. We ordered sushi dish after sushi dish. All were brought out timely, with a lovely presentation. The rice was fresh and soft, and the tempura dishes nice and crunchy. Everything was delicious. We got the dragon bites, shrimp tempura, lobster tempura, eel sushi, tuna carpaccio, and more. We ate ever bite, without a single complaint. Service was very friendly. When they realized we were celebrating my brother's birthday, they even brought us a sweet bite of birthday chocolate. We ordered the coconut soufflé (sit takes about 20 minutes, so make sure to put your order in). It was a towering beauty, light, fluffy, and creamy. They really know how to make their guests feel special. I am already thinking of what dishes I will order again, and what new ones I will try the next time I come back. read more

I researched a few restaurants before arriving at The Breakers and came across Echo. I tried to make a reservation through the resort but they didn't have availability until late that evening. We decided to wing in without a reservation. We took the complementary shuttle. Happy hour is between 5-6pm so we arrived around 4:45pm. We were the first ones to get in line. But by 5pm, there were at least 15 people behind us, waiting in line. We sat outside, for my husband, really (as I'm pregnant) to take advantage of happy hour. All the drinks and all of the sushi on page 1 of their menu were 50% off. We ordered a variety of things and everything was delicious. My favorite thing was the Braised Short Rib Bao Buns. My husbands favorite thing was the Lobster Tempura Roll. After dinner, we asked the restaurant to call the shuttle, and back to the resort we went. read more

We've been coming to Echo for at least 12-13 years. Just went last night again for my husband's birthday and while I've written other reviews there a lot longer before this one is going to be short and sweet. Service is superb. The food from sushi rolls to different items on the menu are superb. We have never had a bad meal. The only cons about this place is it is very expensive. But if you go during happy hour you can get half off on the sushi. The other con is they used to have a much more extensive menu a few years ago, but since Covid, they've pretty much cut their menu to just some signature dishes. I definitely recommend this place for occasions and if you just want to splurge. read more

There is nothing we loved about this restaurant. DC native here, used to high end dining. You pay $25 for a California roll...$36 for spicy tuna. Yes, it's Palm Beach EVERYTHING is more expensive which is fine but make something little special to justify. The rolls were ridiculously small... like ridiculous! My spicy salmon roll was a lot of rice wrapped with a thick asparagus stalk and the amount of salmon in it was offensive. A Tito's and soda is $18 and they automatically add gratuity of 20%. We saw our server TWICE the entire night and it was a Sunday. 4 sushi rolls and 5 drinks = $300 I'd take my $$$ l will 1000% take my money somewhere else. read more

For being a breakers owner restaurant this place is just like any other place... nothing special. The food was ok. Had the pad Thai which was good, but would be better at an authentic place. Also had the tuna roll, that I must say was good. Again nothing over the top. The dessert that I was looking forward to sooooo much was a let down. It was pretty flavorless. Came in with a group of friends Friday night for dinner and can not remember our servers name but she was great. She explained the drinks and did not judge me when I modified like a crazy person. Me and my boyfriend got the dim sum for two and she explained each one and which sauces taste the best with it. She was kind, knowledgeable and intelligent! And the food as always was impeccable. First time here and really impressed with the ambience and the happy hour. When I first walked in I felt like I had left Palm Beach and landed in Las Vegas. The room was dark with red fixtures throughout and gave it a different t flavor then in used to seeing Palm Beach. The happy hour was also better then I was expecting. Half priced drinks and apps at the bar. I was expecting it to be a dollar or two off a $20 drink. The food itself was good but not great. The dumplings had a nice texture and I liked the ying yang decorative sauce. The bao buns were good but not spectacular. I liked the bun itself but expected more from the flavor of the beef and the duck in the two I had. The ginger beef was the highlight of the meal and the one meal I wouldn't have ordered. The meat was cooked perfectly and was all around really good. Overall the food was good, but not great. I'll keep coming back though. read more

Tried this place from the palm beach restaurant list. The place is busy! We had early reservations, and people kept coming. We did not have any cocktails as we were at another place prior to coming here. The interior is all black and red. We had a table inside but could see out on the terrace area. From the menu we had shrimp egg rolls and lettuce wraps for the appetizer. The spring rolls were really good, an entire shrimp in each. The lettuce wraps were a bit disappointing, the vegetables were cut a bit too large and the lettuce did not have that freshness, could be the type of lettuce used. But this is a simple dish it could have been better. I opted for the shrimp lo mein and my friend had the salmon. Both were pretty good not over the top excellent. There were a lot of shrimp in the lo mein. The salmon came on a pile of vegetables. Next we had the dessert! The presentations were outstanding. I had the chocolate lava cake and my friend had the sundae. The chocolate cake was not sweet and missed the mark for me. My friend did not eat the brownie and only had the ice cream. The menu is worth it as the portions were large, for flavor, it was lacking. The service was excellent and our waters were always topped off. I would try it again and have some sushi next time and try a cocktail or two. read more

There are so many great places to have sushi in PB but I have to say, Ecco is tops! I've never had a bad roll there. And I love how very accommodating they are if you want to create a specialty roll or a protein roll, also. Service is always friendly and dependable, and dining is pleasant inside or outside. Their cocktail menu is nice and most of the servers I have had there love to help create fun drinks, too, and help you try new things. The service is great and when I booked the reservation online I put it was for an anniversary not expecting them to notice but they did and they also gave us an amazing soufflé dessert on the house . After seeing holiday photos of the Breakers, I told my boyfriend we needed to make a trip for dinner! We rolled up to the hotel and it was absolutely gorgeous! Only down side, I thought Echo was on property :( Pro tip, I recommend parking at the hotel and taking the free shuttle to the restaurant only 5 minutes away. The restaurant will validate your parking for valet and you can get back on the shuttle for a stroll around the property for an after dinner drink or photo ops! Ok, now onto the food! Super fresh and yummy sushi! We started with the dim sum sampler. Not all of it was dim sum, included crab rangoons and dumplings, but still really good. We moved onto 2 rolls, lobster roll and one with tuna and avocado and shrimp tempura. Everything was perfectly cooked and really fresh. We also had the grand mariner shrimp. Wow. Great size shrimp and an even better sauce. Perfect balance of savory and a hint of an orange. Very good! We were full so we skipped this famous soufflé, but I will definitely be back for more! Love Echo! FYI this is a Breakers restaurant, but not located at the Breakers hotel it's down the street. The vibe here is really nice and swanky! You can dress up here and fit in nicely. On a Saturday night it's pretty crowded! The menu had so many delicious options from sushi, noodles, meat, seafood etc. The teriyaki salmon I had was delicious.
