Quite possibly the worst brewery I have been to. Finally writing this review on my 3rd attempt to enjoy this place. The beer is good but if you are sitting at a table plan on waiting a long time. If you thought you had to wait long for the beer, try ordering food. The first time we were there for just under 2 hours only able to get 2 orders of beer and had to leave when our pizza wasn't even started over hour after order. We paid for our beers and got 4 pint vouchers for the inconvenience. It was an extremely busy night so we will give them an other chance. Our second time we went there for we finally got a pizza but still took longer than it ever should. Food was good but not worth the wait. Only my wife and I... so I guess we had more patience. Was not busy at all. This LAST time we just had to walk out! We were sat and our server said she would be right back with 4 waters. She came back 10-15 min later without water asking for our drink order and after she took it she said she would be right back with our drink and take our order. 15... 20.. min pass. Thats almost 35 min in a brewery and I don't have a water, a BEER, or was even able to order my meal. Been down that road before, hell no! It was moderately busy. So offically that was our last trip to Echo, no more chances. If you can't serve beer and food, then stick to what you know... BEER! And hire food trucks to feed everyone. What a waste of brewery. read more

Echo Brewing - Returned on a Saturday night and the place was packed! Love this place! - Pizza Near Me - Erie, Colorado

Went there on a Saturday night for dinner. Service was really bad (30 min to get my first beer). On top of that they were out of 4 beers, coincidentally the 4 that were my first choice. I can see running out of guest beers but make sure you make enough of your own! However, the beers I were able to try were better than the Colorado microbrew average. Pizza was ok, but expensive considering. I agree with prior post that the cheesy garlic bread is where it is at. Nice patio area and they had free live music from 7-9 when we went. I'd like to try this place again but maybe I'll call to make sure they are adequately staffed and aren't out of so many beers. read more

Echo brews some amazing beer. I have been enjoying the Frederick location since 2012 and the new Erie location does not disappoint. The pizza at this location is delicious and the staff is friendly and quick! My favorite beer of theirs is the Balefire Irish Red. They also have an excellent beer garden! Enjoy :) read more

I feel like it has gone consistently downhill since they opened. Service is always bad, no exception. Beer can be good, but be prepared to wait for it, and isn't always very cold. Pizza can be good, but sometimes is really small and not cooked properly. Same thing with the italian nachos, seems like they've been sitting out awhile before you finally get them. Serving sizes also seem smaller than they used to be. And don't bother trying to get tasters of any of the beers- they will either "forget" or charge you. And we're not talking larger sample size glasses, literally 2-3 sips. Place is often pretty dirty, tables unwiped, even when there's hardly anyone in there. I prefer Industrial Revolution brewery or the Old Mine for cider. read more

Food and beer is so good, this is now a regular spot. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is because the service lacks at times, but the food and beer is worth the hassle. Edit: the service continues to go down hill here. Be prepared to wait period; wait for drinks, wait for food, wait for refills, and wait for your check. Pleasant space both inside and out. Ample table space outside and a nice vibe from the quiet street. Good for kids. There is a grassy area out back that is nice to let them run around. The pizza is delicious, Italian nachos were really good too. read more

Visiting some family from Colorado found this place close to their house and it's amazing! Super fresh ingredients on the pizza and the dough is handmade from scratch! I had two beers that were brewed in house both were delicious one was a Kolsch and the other an IPA. Would 100% recommend it to anyone who lives here or that's just visiting! read more

We attended the summer block party in Erie so decided to stop by for a drink. Cute little place- we didn't try food or anything. Beer was good maybe a little pricey though especially for the area. We sat outside and in the evening the mosquitoes were really bad. I highly recommend bug spray if you're visiting in the evening in the summer. Decided to try this one night, and ordered it to go. We got two different types of pizzas. When we picked them up, I was appalled by how small they were for the large price. I also was annoyed by how few ingredients were on the pizzas. Definitely not going back- I could get twice as much from Dominos for the same price. read more

Nice outdoor area, but the pizza isn't very good in my opinion. Their sauce is way too smoky and overpowering. The wood fired pizza would be so much better with a sweeter red sauce. It should at least be an alternative even if they are committed to the current recipe. Service is so-so, but I could deal with that if the food was worth it. We love the Frederick location and eat there often. We will go for pizza and not beer. We figured we'd try this location just for funsies. The building is way better, beer is the same, maybe more expensive, and the pizza is a no go. Has any one here worked under proper restaurant management. Get some discipline, get off your phone, stop texting, take care of the customers and stop talking to one another like its your own private club. Tried it twice wanting it to be good. Lots of shortcuts in what seem like bad places. I like Echo beer, but this rating is for the food. The first visit we had the Italian nachos and a pizza. Store bought tortilla chips covered in mozzarella, crushed olives, sausage pepperoni etc. they were OK. We expected the egg wrap style chips which most places do for this type of dish, but what do you do. The pizza had potential. The crust was a bit chewy but the quality of ingredients seemed alright. Not tons of flavor. Asked for ranch dressing, got hidden valley out of the bottle. Had it been better ranch, I'd actually probably be giving more props to the pizza. Second visit had the garlic cheese bread, fettuccini Alfredo and Caesar salad. Cheese bread was OK. Basically one of their very flat cheese pizzas without pizza sauce. Alfredo was somewhere between a lean cuisine and a Marie Callender's TV dinner. Caesar was served with what tasted like craft Caesar dressing, store bought croutons and mass produced grated Parmesan cheese. Unfortunately the second bite of the salad contained a foreign human object, which, while disturbing, would not have stopped me from continuing if the salad tasted good. I didn't continue. Erie is a small town, and has few options for sit down dining. Echo is maybe a place one might consider for a drink and a snack, but anything more might be disappointing. This was based on two visits about 3 weeks apart. Maybe they're just having a bad streak. I will try again in 6 months. read more

This brewery is always really busy and that's because it's good! They've got great beer AND great food. They're known for their pizza, but they've got amazing sandwiches and salads too. I really like their spinach salad and their turkey sandwich, which comes with a garlic and pesto spread. Their outdoor patio is unlike any in the area; so welcoming and comfortable. I heard it used to be an old fire station, which is where the garage doors come from. Worth checking out! read more

Good spot in downtown Erie. Always a good mix of their own and guest beers. Large tvs make it easy to eat, drink, and watch some games.

Service and Food was great! A little $ for our family of 7, but perfect date night dinning. Oh and the beer is awesome:).

We go here every few weeks because we live close and I like their beer. They have a great outdoor patio area for the nicer months. The food is not that great, and is over-priced for the size/quality. After several tries with several different pizzas, we gave up and now just stick to bread sticks or cheesy bread. The cheesy garlic bread is the same size and 1/2 the price of a pizza, but has so much more flavor. Meat pizzas are okay, but if you're a vegetarian expect it to be absolutely bland. They really need to spice up their menu and dishes, more appetizers would be awesome. My huge pet peeve with places like this is when they don't give you enough sauce but charge extra for more. You're really going to make me pay you 50c so I can finish my bread sticks without choking them down? Rude. I have also had issues with service here, the staff forgets to bring us things all the time, and I often just give up and stop asking. read more

Dear Erie - WHY? Why no decent places to eat? So frustrating. This place must be all about the beer because they are NOT at all about the service or the food. Beer was adequate. Food was awful - pizza was uninspired and slightly burned on the crust, with a bottom of raw flour, Italian nachos were totally burned and adorned with a plastic cup of horrible marinara sauce, and a salad that was supposed to have cranberries, walnuts, and cheese had a sprinkle of walnut dust and no cheese. None. We might as well have burned our money - that would have been more satifying. Service was just bad. Just seems like nobody here cares. Used to love this place....however....After an hour and no pizza, the waitress said they lost the kitchen ticket. Came back after another 45 minutes and said they lost the second ticket and asked "do you still want your pizza?" We said yes cautiously and then after a full two hour wait the pizzas came... They were very small and while I think the gluten-free pizza is still OK I would not go back due to the poor service. The waitress was doing her best but the kitchen needs to get their act together. They have some amazing crust on their pizza. But that is the only good thing about this place. Their marinara sauce had zero flavor at all, same with their motzorella cheese. Just zero flavor to any of it. We think they make the sauce and cheese themselves. Maybe they should get store bought stuff cause it would have tasted better. Their cheese bread sticks were good but they also had garlic on it so that helped with the flavor. Totally understaffed and the waitress was to busy to help us. Took a long time to get the box we asked for and a long time for the check. The building was cheaply re furbished when they moved in and already showing signs of wear. I am surprised their Frederick location did so well they thought they could open another place, definelty don't know what they are doing. Beautiful place, and great concept, but it falls far from expectation. It took fifteen minutes before we were seated and we ended up seating ourselves, the drink order was wrong and very slow, for some beers, waters, and a soda. Food order was even slower. Waitresses are not very helpful or knowledgeable when asked for a beer recommendation, "its our award winner" is all they had to say. Needs new staff and better coordination. Beer refill took ten minutes, pizza came out before the appetizers because the ticket for them was misplaced, and the pizza was cold and the waitress knocked a water into my lap setting the pizza down. No apology, no help, she just walked away. Later there was a muttered sorry but that was it. Appetizers came out lacked toppings on the Italian nachos. Will not be back. read more

We have been trying to give Echo another shot because my wife loves the pizza. They offer delivery but their phones either ring and no one answers or their phone rings busy. Really?!?!? Echo was one of my favorite restaurants in Erie. Service and beer were good and prices were reasonable. The last three times I've been there it has taken forever to get the food and the prices have increased. If you plan to take your family of four there and have a couple drinks, plan on at least 90 minutes and $100 bucks. I hope they turn things around. Great location and so much potential. read more

We stopped in here t night (Saturday, cold snowing) after hitting up the Old Mine Cidery. Nice selection of beers, cozy, warm plesant brewhouse. I had the IPA, which at an IBU of 70 was pretty easy to quaff down. Service was very good, and prices what you might expect. All in all a very decent place that I will certainly visit again (now that my daughter lives in Erie....) I would go 3.5 stars if that option was available.. read more
