The salon does not use the electric nail drill at all. The gel manicure is done solely with a regular nail file and a soak. It was very gentle and very thorough. They are appointment only and you can either call or text to book. This is going to be my new salon for the foreseeable future. They are also reasonably priced. First, I don't drink soda, and second gel nails should be strong enough to open a soda can with lol but whatever. Then he told me that because it's so cold out it takes the gel longer to cure so I need to wait a couple days before opening soda cans (?!??) what's up with this guys soda can obsession? Anyway I tell him again that I don't drink soda but okay sure. He does my nails, they're fine, I go to leave and he charges me $27 for the soak off. Like wtf??????????
