Eaton Cafe looks quite different from the outside--the name doesn't immediately give off a typical cafe vibe, so it might be easy to brush it off. The place is fairly new, and you can tell they're still working through some initial kinks in service and setup. They offer a variety of Asian dishes, which is a nice change from the usual cafe fare. I ordered the Hainan Chicken, which came with flavorful rice, a side of soup, and spices served on the side for added kick. The dish was satisfying and well-presented. Overall, Eaton Cafe shows promise. With a bit more refinement, it could become a great spot for casual Asian comfort food.

Great food and great service! Half grab and go, half restaurant. Food is spot on with flavors and huge portions size. Ordered the combo noodles with meatball, highly recommend. Interior is clean and has a modern look to it Staff are super welcoming and friendly

This place is a cute and spacious Asian restaurant off of Queens Blvd. The food was good, although it was the first time I'd had soup dumplings served on a plate rather than in their steamer. I thought the desert pastry that was shaped like teddy bears and turtles was adorable. Prices were affordable here. The service was pretty good but we actually had to call over our server a couple of times because he didn't check in too much to see if we needed anything.

The tiramisu was so so good! Napoleon was not the best too flaky and not the strongest taste. Cute little cafe also serves food. The ramen was pretty good! All great prices and great comfortable seating area for a quick bite

Obsessed with this new gem near Queens Mall -- Eaton in Elmhurst is officially my favorite spot! They serve up a delicious mix of ramen, authentic Indonesian food , homemade baked goods, and a super fancy dessert selection (the Indo sweets & snacks are chef's kiss ). Everything is sooo yummy, and the vibes? Cozy, welcoming, and perfect for anything -- from a chill lunch to a little gathering with friends. Amazing food + warm service = total win. If you haven't checked it out yet, you're missing out!

I was thrilled to hear that a new spot in the neighborhood is serving ramen. It's a great addition! I tried the volcano chicken shoyu ramen, which was perfectly spicy, with a delicious broth, homemade noodles, and braised pork belly that was the best I've ever had. The egg was cooked to perfection too. When you order an entree, it comes with a Thai iced tea. They also make their own desserts, which we got to go, and they were super tasty. The service was friendly and warm. I'll definitely be back, EATON!

It is Indonesian inspired Japanese Ramen.....basically anything Indonesians touch end up Yummy! The food is quite delicious and well presented, the prices are reasonable &the service is wonderful...the staff is friendly & attentive. Ive come with my family 3 times so far ..& we're neither Indonesian or Japanese. They also have a very good fancy dessert selection. ...and the best surprise it a wall unit full of Indonesian sweets and snacks ...TRY THEM! We'll be back! Terima Kasih!

The restaurant has very cozy ambience. Staff is super friendly and Bebek Galanga is my top dish favorite.

Food is very delicious along with great service and enjoyable ambiance. Would eat here again!

I tasted 2 times. At the first time, I ate Miso ramen. The soup and broth are home made. I can tell the chef has trained very well. Highly recommend it. At the second time, I ate fried noodles. This is very good as much as miso ramen. I am Japanese and ate ramen all the time. This restaurant is out standing. The ladies at front, everyone is so kind. The cafe atmosphere ramen shop. You can have sweets after ramen. I can't wait for trying other ramen. 2 thumbs up!

Place is clean, food came out quick, service is excellent. Price is fair with good portion, can't complain. Loved the flat noodle dish, "wok air" is there. Definitely will come back for more.

Before I order, I confirmed that the promo BOGO 30% off is still on, but I was charge full price. When I complained that was the time I was given the promo price. In addition, I was charged 10.4% sales tax, instead of 8.875% nyc sales tax. With regards to the menu, I ordered the "torigara chicken shoyu" which indicates that the meat "tender chicken slice" and not spicy, but I was served chicken that is fried and was given spice on the side

We ordered a combo with chicken popcorn, which paired perfectly with our meal, and ended on a sweet note with their matcha jelly dessert. The Thai tea was good, though a bit rich and sweet for my taste. I'd recommend diluting it slightly to balance the flavor. What really stood out, aside from the food, was the ambiance. We were seated in a cozy, semi-private booth (almost like a little dining nook), which made the whole experience feel more intimate and relaxing. The staff were also quick and courteous, adding to the overall great vibe. Definitely a spot worth coming back to.

Firstly, I'd always recommend getting the Shoyu or Tamashii Ramen, unless you really prefer some other kind. In my opinion, these are the best. Good for a meal but I would recommend other things first. Kinda disappointing - curry. Just tastes like regular curry that you can make at home. At some point I'd like to try the Okonomiyaki.

The Kara Miso Ramen was better and I enjoyed the spicy taste of it. We also tried their Pork Buns, which were yummy and had a nice smokey taste. We had Lucky Chicken, a Japanese beer that's a red IPA that we both enjoyed. Overall, this is a nice spot for ramen that offers vegetarian options as well as other dishes, and is worth a visit if you're in the area and craving ramen. I would definitely revisit but this isn't my go-to ramen spot in Queens.

We visited Hanami Ramen and ordered: - Tonkotsu Ramen: $15; $16.33 with tax. - Gyu Don: $15; $16.33 with tax. Both dishes had marinated eggs, which could have been marinated a little longer. The Gyu Don was over-salted. The Tonkotsu Ramen could have used slightly better noodles and a thicker broth. Other: - Complimentary water is served. - The atmosphere and décor is minimalist. - Service was prompt, and good. Queens has plenty of excellent Japanese restaurants, but in my opinion, this one really stands out. The servers were friendly and professional, and even funny. The Shishito Peppers are a great starter. They are lightly charred and just mildly spicy, perfect for sharing. The Kara Age is another fantastic appetizer: crispy fried chicken with spicy mayo. Although the restaurant is known for its ramen, I opted for a rice bowl instead. The Gyu Don is rice topped with marinated beef and onion, a soy egg, and garnished with scallions and pickled vegetables. It's a hearty, flavorful dish with a wonderful balance of sweet and savory flavors. The portions were generous as well. Overall, 5 stars.

Even before the food arrives, the restaurant leaves a strong impression with its stunning Japanese-inspired interior. The space is beautifully designed, blending warmth and elegance in a way that feels both inviting and refined. From the soft lighting to the natural wood accents and thoughtfully arranged decor, everything about the atmosphere feels intentional. It captures the intimate charm of a traditional izakaya while still feeling modern and stylish, making it a wonderful setting for anything from a casual dinner to a more special night out. The food more than lived up to the beauty of the space. One of the first highlights was the salmon onigiri, a dish that proved how satisfying simplicity can be when it is done well. The rice was soft, fresh, and perfectly formed, holding together without feeling too compact, while the salmon added a savory richness that made each bite feel comforting and flavorful. It was balanced, delicate, and deeply satisfying in a way that made it memorable despite its simplicity. The seared salmon salad was another standout. The salmon itself was beautifully prepared, with a lightly seared exterior that gave it a subtle crispness, while the inside remained tender, buttery, and smooth. That contrast in texture made the dish especially enjoyable. Paired with the freshness of the salad, it felt light and refreshing, yet still substantial enough to feel like more than just a side dish. It was a dish that managed to feel both clean and indulgent at the same time. The grilled squid was particularly impressive and easily one of the most memorable items of the meal. Squid can often be difficult to get right, as it can become rubbery or overly chewy if even slightly overcooked, but that was absolutely not the case here. The texture was spectacular--tender, delicate, and pleasantly springy without any toughness. Each bite had a light smokiness from the grill that added depth, while the squid itself retained its natural sweetness. It was expertly prepared and showcased a level of precision that really stood out. For the main courses, both the Tonkatsu Ramen and the Black Pepper Ramen delivered distinct experiences, each with its own appeal. The Tonkatsu Ramen was deeply comforting and satisfying, with a broth that had a rich, velvety texture and a full-bodied depth that coated the palate beautifully. It felt smooth, hearty, and luxurious without being too heavy. The noodles had an ideal texture as well--firm enough to provide a satisfying bite, yet soft enough to soak up the broth and integrate perfectly into the dish. Altogether, it was a bowl that felt warming, balanced, and incredibly comforting. The Black Pepper Ramen, on the other hand, brought a bolder and more assertive flavor profile. The broth had a smooth, glossy texture, and the noodles again had a pleasing chew that gave the dish structure and substance. The black pepper added an unmistakable warmth and aromatic intensity that made the ramen stand out immediately. It was flavorful and memorable, though the pepper was slightly overwhelming at times. A bit less black pepper would have allowed the other flavors in the broth to come through more clearly and created a more balanced bowl. Even so, the ramen was still enjoyable, especially for those who appreciate strong, pepper-forward flavors. Overall, Izakaya Fuku is a restaurant that succeeds on every level. The stunning Japanese interior creates an atmosphere that feels both immersive and elegant, while the food reflects a real attention to detail in both flavor and texture. From the comforting salmon onigiri, to the fresh and beautifully prepared seared salmon salad, to the expertly grilled squid with its exceptional texture, and finally the rich and satisfying ramen dishes, every part of the meal felt carefully executed. It is a place that offers not just excellent food, but a complete dining experience, and it is well worth visiting for anyone looking for standout Japanese cuisine in New York.

My only note is that it could've used more greens. The single layer of lettuce on the bottom didn't quite cut it. I understand why it's done that way, adding more might make it soggy, but something like crisp like raw string beans or haricots verts could add both freshness and volume without sacrificing texture. Still, overall, I really really enjoyed it! The grilled beef over vermicelli was solid, fresh and flavorful, but the small container of fish sauce wasn't quite enough to tie everything together. Unfortunately, the spring rolls were a letdown. They were rolled unevenly, which led to uneven frying, and they just didn't look very appealing.
