Tried Eataly market/buffet--got the walnut pesto spinach pasta with ricotta and a mortadella sandwich. We've been told they don't heat up the pasta and have to go to their restaurants for a hot pasta which was not expected! but they will heat pizza and sandwiches. Still, both tasted really good--fresh and flavorful.

I had been to Eataly in NYC before so was excited to give the Dallas location a try. I can't say enough great things about their pizza, supplí and the gelato!!! I ate their " Bufalina" pizza and the dough, ingredients, thin center and flakey crust were just as good as the pizzas I have tried in Italy! I was able to eat the whole pizza myself and it didn't feel as heavy as all the American pizzas I have tried here. We finished the meal with a delicious gelato, and I had the chance to try my favorite flavor: amarena. Surprisingly, this also tasted authentic and as amazing as it always had when I would try gelato in my hometown. Needless to say, I highly recommend the food at Eataly. I also support their mission, which includes a partnership with the Italian Trade Agency and willingness to continue promoting the taste and culture of Italy. Wish this could have been around when I first moved to the US.

We went to the pizzeria restaurant inside Eataly last week, and it did not disappoint. There were other people who were seated after us that the waitress addressed first before we even got our drinks, which was a little disappointing. Once we were acknowledged though, it was great! I got their salmon and it was a great size and so buttery, full of flavor! My daughter got the kids heart shaped pizza (so cute!) she LOVED it and I don't think she'll ever eat pepperoni pizza the same way again. Lol

I should not get this excited about entering Eataly but every time I find something new to love about this market. I adored the Easter goodies that were on display such as the large chocolate wrapped eggs and bunnies. My favorite counter is the fresh pasta followed by the fresh pastry counter. If you have a sweet tooth they will pipe cannolis for you. They also have fresh Italian doughnuts that they will put pastry cream in for you. I have yet to try one of their classes or food experiences but it's on my list for sure. All of the employees are friendly and helpful. The lively atmosphere is great and they so much to explore in addition to their restaurants. If you haven't been it's definitely a must.

Ate at Pizza le Pasta restaurant and unfortunately were not too impressed. Right off the bat we ordered the charcuterie board and asked the waiter if we needed anything else as an appetizer (it was a special occasion). He said no and shortly after we received the board. We were not informed that there were piles of jam and soft cheeses but no crackers or bread to go with them. We politely asked another waiter passing by what to do with the jam and she said well of course you need some bread (which was an extra cost). Very disappointed since then the main courses were out by the time we got the bread and the charcuterie board was forgotten. The pizza, however, was extremely good and cacio e pepe was lovely pasta. But, the linguine bolognese was way too al dente and almost inedible. Very disappointed since this meal was so expensive. Hopefully this was just an off night and it's not always like this! (Just make sure to get bread with the charcuterie board because it's 2 cups of fig jam with nowhere to put it)

We had a really great experience at Eataly. We dined at one of the sit-down restaurants that serves both pizza and pasta (as opposed to the other restaurant that focuses on pasta only), which we appreciated for the variety. The ambience was lively but still comfortable--busy in a good way, with a warm, inviting atmosphere that made it easy to enjoy the meal. Service was attentive and friendly without feeling rushed, which added to the overall experience. We ordered the bruschetta with whipped ricotta, and it was easily the best bruschetta we've ever had. The ricotta was light, creamy, and perfectly balanced with the toppings--simple but done exceptionally well. We also ordered a pizza (we forgot the exact name), but it had walnuts on it and was just as impressive. It wasn't too heavy, and the flavors came together really nicely. It felt thoughtful and well-executed. Overall, the quality of the food really stood out. We would definitely come back to try more from the menu.

Shout out to the head baker, Marsael! I wanted a sandwich...most Italian style sandwiches come with mayo. I do not like mayo...I figured that I would just trim some of the bread off with the mayo. He came to the rescue by showing me the focaccia they use and so he gave me an extra piece to just transfer my sandwich. lol!!! The idea worked perfectly and I was happy with my sandwhich and the exceptional customer service. I also grabbed their Chicken and Orzo soup....I feel like my grandma made this.

Tried some premade items from the pizza and sandwich hot bar and can say that it pleasantly surprised me. Both items were delicious and tasted fresh however the mortadella was my personal favorite. The store was nice and clean almost forgot I was in a mall. The staff and service was great, helping us with anything we may need.

This thine here I am as a Dallas Diva and not a tourist- I sat at the pasta bar in Il Pastaio and was blown away by the texture and flavor of the fresh pasta... Now to find dessert!

My creation, but the kitchen accommodated my request. Spinach, tagliatelle, noodles and Bolognese sauce.

I love this spot, it's always busy, but sometimes you luck out in the late afternoon and get right in like we did today. I asked them to create something special with their spinach, tagliatelle noodles and a Bolognese sauce. It's a must try! I love the kitchen for doing this for me.:)

Ok, so this turned into a two-in-one adventure because I stopped by Eataly to stock up the house and ended up treating myself to La Pizza & La Pasta inside the store. I was out running errands and getting things ready for our Mavs game, and figured I might as well grab more pasta and cheese for home--my partner is basically the CEO of Cheese Appreciation. She was all smiles when I walked in with the goods. Checkout at Eataly was quick, smooth, and surprisingly friendly for how busy it was. Then I headed over to La Pizza & La Pasta, and this place was no joke PACKED. People were still lining up trying to get tables, which tells you everything you need to know. Luckily I was flying solo, so I slipped right into a bar seat while everyone else was quoting 20-30 minute waits. The moment I sat down, I was greeted and handed a drink. The two ladies working the bar were a whole operation. They were moving nonstop, taking care of the bar crowd and making drinks for the entire restaurant, but still somehow managing to be warm, fast, and on point. I ordered the Fettuccine "Alfredo" -- Burro e Parmigiano Reggiano, which they serve table-side, mixed right inside a giant cheese wheel. Even if cheese isn't your personality trait (it's not mine), this is something you absolutely need to see at least once. The presentation alone could stop traffic. And the flavor? Unreal. My taste buds packed their bags and left the atmosphere. The restaurant layout is clean, easy to navigate, and never feels overwhelming. Plenty of staff around, and every single one I interacted with was helpful. Overall, an amazing experience. And since it's only five miles from home, I'm already planning weekly trips for cheese, pasta, meats, and whatever else calls my name. Yes, I left a very happy person.

Absolutely love shopping at Eataly. It's my guilty pleasure and I always spend too much money here. They have a lot of authentic Italian foods and ingredients that you can't find elsewhere. They make a lot of stuff in house like cheese and fresh pastas which is great. It's definitely on the pricier side but it is worth it every once in a while. They have a deli, butcher, fresh seafood, multiple restaurants and a casual dining area with fresh made pizza slices, sandwiches, pastries and desserts like gelato and cannoli. I love the pistachio cream cornetto ( Italian croissant). It's one of my favorite pastries in DFW. We always try to grab a meal here with all the choices they have and enjoy the vibe. If you love all things Italian, you'll absolutely love this place.

The staff here is a little annoying at times, since they're doing a "donate to a local student scholarship drive", and the cashiers guilt-trip you (and they're fairly persistent) into donating. And when you do contribute, they broadcast it throughout the store. I get it's for a good cause, and I hate to be "that guy", but it is a little irritating after a while. On the plus side, the self-checkout attendants are usually fairly helpful and attentive, so that's good. The last time I wanted to check out, all of the registers were closed, so the self-checkout line was over a dozen people/carts long (thankfully two rows of self-checkout made the line dwindle fairly quickly). Another two lanes of self-checkout were opened at the other end of the store, but there were at least 3-4 attendants at the self-checkout lanes, so I'm curious as to why nobody was manning the actual registers. Finally, as I was leaving, two of the staff were having a casual non-work conversation, blocking the exit, so I asked them politely to move for my cart. They did so, but muttered under their breath for me to use the other exit. It was rather rude, since not only is that not appropriate customer service, but my car was parked at the other end of the parking lot, and the exit was right in front of me, which they were blocking. Overall, Krogers itself is great. You can probably find whatever you're looking for there, even if it might not be food, and for reasonable prices. But the staff and service don't always make your shopping experience a positive one.

I stopped in to grab a few bunches so I could build my partner a custom bouquet at home -- roses, winter peonies, and lilies that were all fresh, full, and priced better than anywhere else around here. The customer service at this location is phenomenal. The lady at the register saw the flowers and asked what I was making. When I told her I was building a bouquet myself for my partner, she lit up and said, "That's how you do it." Little moments like that just make the experience feel personal. Trader Joe's employees always bring good energy, and it shows. I took everything home, trimmed the stems, mixed the colors, and built the bouquet with my own hands. The roses brought the romance, the winter peonies added that soft winter elegance, and the lilies tied the whole thing together like a final touch only she would notice. While I was there I also grabbed steaks to cook her dinner later that night. Between the flowers and the meal, Trader Joe's basically gave me everything I needed to make the whole evening special without running all over town. When I handed her the bouquet and then served dinner, the look on her face made the effort worth it. Trader Joe's helped me turn a simple idea into a real moment -- thoughtful, genuine, and meaningful.
