I found this quilt shop as the owner Faten and I are part of the Sew Sweetness bag making group. I started as a garment sewist and did home dec sewing before thinking about learning to quilt. I detoured into bag-making and found Faten and her husband to be warm, friendly, fun and knowledgeable shop owners. I've taken two classes in their new space and plan to take more. It's fun to see with people with the same interests. I don't have many friends that sew anymore so this is a nice outlet. They have a great selection of fabric and notions for quilting and they will be adding more notions and hardware for bag making. read more

Just found this store today. I was greeted warmly and after explaining what I needed, she was happy to give me her honest ideas, and they were exactly what I was looking for. I was trying to finish my Grandmothers quilt she started 80 years ago, and it turns out, Faten will be finishing it for me! Wow! Thank you so much, I can hardly wait to see it finished! My cousin's quilt will be next! The store is beautifully decorated, and has a wonderful selection of fabrics and quilting supplies. This is a great hidden jewel on the quilting circuit in Riverside, CA. A little off the beaten path but for such a small shop it is jammed packed with very affordable fabric ($8-$10 per yard) and plenty of kits and quilting knick knacks! Definitely a place to visit. read more

I had some family visiting from out of town and the ladies wanted to go to a quilt store. The one my mom was familiar with was closed so we went to Easy Quilting Corner in Riverside. What a wonderful store with great fabric and panels and kits! My mom (who is 96) and sister in law and cousin and I had a great time seeing all they had and picking out fabric. I don't even sew and I bought some things for my mom to sew for me! The owners husband was tending the store and another helper and they were so very nice. My mom cannot wait to go back and my relatives are sad that they don't live close to come anytime they want! It was just a little hard to find as it is among other businesses and not on a corner! But, use your GPS and definitely find it. You will not be disappointed. Fabric great and prices not high. read more

This little gem of a quilt shop is a must see! The kind and knowledgeable owner greeted me at the door and gave me a tour immediately. She also shared some sound advice regarding the best quilts for me to start with (I have some sewing experience but very little with quilting). Though the shop seems small, there is a wonderful selection of yardage, 10" squares, 5" squares and jelly rolls. There is also an impressive array of quilting kits, aurifil thread, and hard copy patterns. They even sell online and you can pick up in store when you can. If you are even a casual sewer I recommend you stop into this store to experience their selection and their service. read more

This is my LQS and although there are several other stores nearby I generally go here first. I've gotten to know the owners quite well and find them both friendly and helpful. Ben's been holding down the fort quite well for a while. He is always helpful and very kind. The prices are awesome and it has now become A Quilts of Valor store and will be hosting Quilts of Valor sew days. She also has routine sit and sew days and a lot of classes. Genuinely a nice little store with lots of friendly faces. They have recently expanded to add long arm quilting to the services they provide and Ben does an excellent job and prices are very reasonable. I was looking for a quilt store in Riverside area and actually stumbled upon this one when I misread my GPS and, WOW, how could I have been so fortunate. Tucked away in industrial looking shopping area, I almost drove right passed it but upon entering the shop, I was greeted by owner, Faten, who was super helpful in showing me her most well stocked fabric store that comes with just about ANYTHING you can come up with that you might need for that beautiful quilt you're about to make. She has patterns for other projects as well. You Row by Rowers will have a selection of fabrics as well. Faten was so helpful and gave me some suggestions for my project. UPDATE: We went back again, twice. The first time was a little stressed, but her husband was very friendly and helpful. The second time was today, and things were much better. The service was very friendly and helpful. She has a great selection of fabrics and her prices are good. If today had been my first visit, it would have also been my last. We were on a quilt run today and we went 20 minutes out of our way to go here, this shop was not on the run. Usually she is very friendly and helpful, today she was neither. We came to pick out some material to make a quilt top, with a design she had there. Nothing special, just star points (flying geese) surrounding a center block. We asked for her help to determine how much fabric we would need, for the star points, (which we were buying from her). She said, "that is a kit" and we were not interested in buy ANOTHER Christmas quilt kit, so she would not help us with our project. So my friend guessed at the amount of fabric she would need, and bought it, because she really loved the fabrics she picked. Me on the other hand, put back everything I was going to buy, because of her attitude. This was not a good experience. We will wait and see if we go back or not. read more

The owner and her husband are very kind and welcoming to you when you come into the shop. They have weekly sew days, that my mom gets to enjoy with her friends now that she is retired. Stopped by during lunch yesterday. The shop was pretty busy but the owners still had time to warmly greet me. I'm designing a Bug Jar for an upcoming grandson and their selection of novelties gave me plenty of choices. They also appeared to have a good selection of thread types. I love this quilt store. Ben and Fatan are both so helpful. Fatan encouraged me to make a wedding quilt for my daughter with only 5 weeks before the big day. I did not think it was possible. She helped me choose a pattern, fabric and even taught me how to get it done. I finished the quilt a week before the wedding and my daughter loved it. I am so thankful to both Ben and Fatan for having a shop that is so welcoming. read more
