I have been having a problem with my lazy boy chair. The mechanism that brings up the footrest would not come down. I had tried elsewhere to get it repaired and their techs apparently were not trained well enough to repair it correctly. So I called Manasco interiors and they were able to repair it right away and it is like new now. I highly recommend them for any repairs you may need for your lazy boy furniture. They did a great job on my recliner. I have a Lazy Boy sectional with a recliner attached. The unit is about 18 years old. The rest of the sectional is is good shape but the recliner (my seat) needed work. They came out and picked it up and replaced the mechanism, put all new foam and made a fabicric repair using a extra pillow I had with the same material. They also informed me that the mechanism was covered under Lazy Boy. All this was done and returned in 2 days. I highly recommend them for all upholstery work. read more

Awesome people, outstanding results! We brought in a 27 year old La-Z-Boy swivel-rocker-recliner that we bought new nearly 3 decades ago. To say it was in sad shape would be an understatement...the fabric was threadbare, the footrest was broken, and something was going on with the base that made it feel less than stable. I was all for throwing it away and buying something new. My wife said, "I rocked all three of my babies in that chair and I want to keep it!" Happy wife, happy life! The Manasco's rescued this chair from certain death as far as I'm concerned! The chair appears to be brand new...no, actually, better than new! If you have an older chair like this one, it is probably better built than modern equivalents. I initially left a great view but I've had my chair back for about 3 months now and it's worse than when I took it there the 1st time, the 2nd and 3rd time. The leather we recieved not what I viewed in the store. It was stiff and too thick. The leather that cost a couple thousand dollars was stretched so tight it was like a rock and I have physical difficulties and sleep in the chair. There was a horrible piping he did on the arms. It was uncceptable so we took it back a 2nd time. Informed the man (owner) who does alot of the work in the back that I need the chair as comfortable as possible. He than proceeded to inform me, while husband was on the phone that he cant heal my medical problems a few times in a very crappy way. His attitude is terrible like that of a small child. They reupholstered the 2nd time and it was horrible. There was no pillow at the top. The back area protrudes out still causing an unnatural arch on my spine so we took it back a 3rd time and the man was just as impatient and rude. I wound up with a terrible chair that looks like a craft project with the foam on one arm starting to pinch up. The frame is noisy popping and cracking and there is a metal staple that cut my fingers down between the seat and arm. This place managed to steal about $3000.00 from us. I have to use a pillow to keep my head up in line because the one that was SUPPOSED to be there isnt. Now I have to take my chair somewhere else to have it recovered because I dont trust them and the older guy will be addressed. Lazyboy doesnt make my chair anymore or I would've just bought a new one. I would have been happier and saved alot of money. Unhappy customer who will never go back! read more

I was very disappointed in the SERVICE, although the quality of the upholstery was good -- once they finally covered my furniture in the fabric that I PICKED OUT. The initally covered it with someone else's fabric -- how do you not check with the client to make sure you have the right fabric? Then they offered nothing for my inconvenience, no discount, no complimentary arm covers, nothing. When I asked, I was told that there was no extra fabric to make arm covers. I would have been happy to pay for an extra yard of fabric if they had made the armcovers as a courtesy for PUTTING THE WRONG FABRIC ON MY FURNITURE!!!! Then they rushed out to the bank and cashed my check within minutes of my final payment as if I was the one who had done something wrong!!!
