After entering this store, my first impression was that it looked like a Marshalls or Ross. It wasn't until I walked deep into it that confirmed my suspicion. It's basically a store full of home goods and some interesting stuff from various brands. The purpose for my visit was to look for some biscuits or crackers. Yes, they have a section with gourmet foods and snacks. I didn't find any biscuits so I didn't buy anything food or snack related. I was so intrigued by this store, I stayed to walk around and see what else they have. A thought came to my mind... I needed a photo frame so I searched for that. I spent a good amount of time looking for the photo frame, but I eventually found one and bought it. Staff was nice. Prices were okay. Ambiance was interesting. Goods were in good variety and quite intriguing to say the least. Please keep in mind they don't necessarily have the same item stored at the same aisle and/or same shelf... they may be all over the place. It's like a scavenger hunt of home goods and stuff LOL. Don't be discouraged. See it as an adventure. If it's meant for you, it'll find you. Now I know what's inside a HomeGoods! I couldn't find another one so thought I'd ask to see if they were going to discount the broken item. They initially said no then said they would take off .50 cents!!! What a joke... They aren't even supposed to sell broken items to begin with. Buyer beware make sure to try out and checkout your pieces to make sure they are ok before you purchase as well. They gave another person in line a hard time who was trying to return a broken item claiming they didn't know if the buyer purchased it broken or they broke it so they couldn't return it. I get it but also look around your store, not good.

I just moved into a small place so my furniture options were limited. I made a decision on a 3-piece modular sofa set and then a separate dining table. A total of $2600. The in-store sales guy was cool. Gave me space to look around, no pressure. That's the second star. Once I decided on what I was getting, he mentioned it was gonna take about a month "or so" to be delivered. As soon as those words were processed, I recalled the yelp reviews. I pressed on. A month later (today), a few days before delivery date, I get a text asking me to confirm my delivery date. An hour later, I get 3 texts telling me my order contains "items not yet available". Two hours after that I get a 4th text with the same message. Ok so wait, I need to confirm my delivery date, yet you don't even have the items? I check my order online and it says something different. That my delivery date is now a week after the original one but that I need to confirm the actual delivery window for 2 weeks after that. In total another 3 weeks wait. I start a chat to confirm all of this, which they do. I ask for a 20% discount for the inconvenience thinking they might counter with 10% to cover the delivery and setup. They counter with $50. 2% of a $2600 order. I'm out now almost 2 months without furniture. I cancelled the order and will take my business elsewhere. Unless they guarantee delivery the same day, I would steer clear of Bob's. Sad too, they had other furniture I had on a list for later. Now they've lost my business for good.

A different Lowe's was able to help me out on a small home improvement project by providing paint samples for me complimentary and this store was so rude when I asked. Both women were rude and dismissive and said we don't do that here. I explained another location had helped me before and they said nothing and just walked away. Sanding sheets were about $6, so a dollar a sheet. Not bad. But honestly I'm just going to Home Depot next time first.

Several more calls later they say they can't do anything about the table or the mattress pad. At this point I don't care anymore, I just need the remote. I had to physically go down there and get the remote and these SOBs hand me the remote and say it's easy to program, here you go. I'm not even convinced it's the right remote. The owner is purchasing and upselling (up to triple the price from the department store). The owner does sprinkle some antiques around the store but the items are overpriced. It's also kind of weird that the owner has a huge photograph of herself behind the cashier counter. Not a fan of this store when there are plenty of other stores worth shopping at walking distance.

The day I went, there were antique clothing, new scrubs, fabric pieces, ornaments, Halloween items. lots of figurines, Asian collectibles, touristy items, sports items, car models... The store has so many random items, but take the time to browse and there's a really good chance you'll find a gift for someone. Or for yourself.
