They had sold out of the round pot style I was looking for, but I was able to find a nice alternative that I am very happy with. Prices were excellent and it saved me a road trip down to Rosarito! The company has an absolute gorgeous selection of tiles, pottery, and other rare materials for Mexico. The store is clean. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly and very helpful. I recently purchased a fountain, put a deposit on it over the phone and the company stored it for me for almost 3 months if not longer. It's a beautiful fountain that we had purchased previously, but one of my children accidentally broke it and the Company set aside a new one for us all over the phone. Super nice products and a great staff. The store is very clean and a very safe part of Riverside. We love going in there just to look at the amazing selections. read more

I'd say the store itself is unique and has what people look for when it comes to Talavera style and vibes. Just note most of the dishes and pots had a gloss enamel over it. Probably like 5 small decor selections didn't have the gloss on it. The pricing is a bit higher compared to another shop I've went to in Ontario called Aitana's Collection it's a small shop but they had better service and I'd prefer their dishes and decor which is not crazy glossed and not over priced over Talavera Catrina's. It was our first time in both shops today. Talavera la Catrina was disappointing especially for the drive we did. The customer service was lack par customer service. We went in with the intention with Purchasing the water fountain and a large amount tiles for a project. We drove 2hours just to bring our business just find no area or space where you can look at the tile you would like. Only at the end we were offered any assistance because Pearla was in rush. I informed Pearla yes we were waiting for her assistance and needed boxes and also wanted to purchase 2 more boxes. Just for Pearla to continue to rush us. I told her we were interested to purchase more out of the shop. We were just waiting for her to assist us. She was very impatient by telling me that she needed us to hurry because she is going to catch traffic I told her I understand because we are also driving a long way. My boyfriend tried to help and take the boxes as I waited for Pearla to provide us our receipt and again she rushed us as we were putting everything in our truck which is fragile item that are high on price purchased from Talavera la Catrina . We were shopping in this place willing to spend a lot. As we were shopping I tripped over an area of crowed pots on the floor and two pieces broke. The man working charged Full price for both broken items ($125.00) and had a very snobby attitude. I've worked retail and things like this happen. But we all know there is no way the loss to the store is full price. So I wouldn't ever shop here again! Broken merchandise is the cost of doing business especially in a crowed store with tons of stuff n the floor. But this guy took advantage of an accident and made $125.00 and lost a customer for life and anyone I can tell who will listen. Very classless establishment! read more
