It's not a HUGE amount but I was a little bummed to find out I was overcharged for an item. At the display it said 10.95 and it says the same on the stone but I was rung up an extra $2. I was in a rush so I didn't pay attention at the time but this turns me off from wanting to shop there in the future- they had a lot of things I really wanted to get too. My first experience wasn't the best. read more

Earthbound Trading - Overcharged - Home Decor Near Me - Riverside, California

There is no other store like this at this mall. The selection is very interesting, and there is so much to see. Me and my kids love visiting, even if we don't always make a purchase (because it's a little pricey). The people who work here are always welcoming, and not in the forced "Welcome in" way you hear just about anywhere else. The clothing in particular is really cool and feels like nice quality. Tonight we came in to do some pre-Black Friday browsing (so I could see what my kids liked) and we had another really fun time checking out the whole store. I saw some jewelry, glasses, and journals that I really liked. read more

I wasn't as happy as I hoped with some incense that I bought so I brought it back to the store to ask if there was anything I could do. Lucky me, the manager was handling the store at the time. She could not have been nicer about it, even though I no longer had the receipt. I picked out a couple of different scents, and she assured me that if those didn't pass muster either, I could still return. I've had nothing but good experiences at this store - love the merch and just about always pick something up. The prices all seem pretty reasonable to me. And the staff have all been great fun. I come in every time I visit the mall. Thanks! read more

I love this store because the clothes are incredibly unique and there aren't many other places that have a selection like this. The employees are also friendly and usually quite helpful. Unfortunately, their clothes do not last long at all. Every piece of clothing I have bought from this store has had to be repaired after gently wearing it once or twice. I had to almost completely resew a pair of pants that I bought from them because every seam kept coming undone and I've only worn them about four times. For the price I would expect much higher quality clothes. read more

I love earthbound so much! The staff is super nice and welcoming. Never have had an issue there. Clothes are a little too expensive in my opinion, but all around I LOVE LOVE this store. Good vibes read more

The people who work here are nice. It's kind of a silly store with stuff to look at. I like the books and home decor. I got a book on the history of paganism. Like everything at the mall it is spiritually bankrupt (duh). Also, the only crystals I would buy here are fluorite and clear quartz (loose or geodes, not jewelry). Some things look dead fake, especially the neon dyed agate. And I was leery of the tigers eye and lapis. Even the big amethyst geodes don't look right to me. All of the jewelry is glass/plastic/dyed mystery stones....I'd skip the jewelry bc it's expensive, not cute, and has no real crystals/gems. If you're a spiritual seeker go to the sacred journey in Riverside. read more

So this place is supposed to be a "spiritual hippie" type of place, however the crystals they sell here are FAKEEEEEE ok I literally seen a sticker on the crystals that it says it was made in CHINA crystals are not MADE! They are mines from the EARTH! They're little shattered pieces from mines years and years ago, that are now forms of crystals. Them selling fake crystals and reselling them for the price they sell them at is crazy which automatically makes me think everything In that store is FAKE AND SOLD FROM CHINA!' Such a shame, that this place sells fake crystals for the price of real ones & has people Thinking these items carry energy when they're fake. It's sad. Well that's my review on this place. Support your local alter shops ect! Don't shop here I'm sure they'll remove the stickers and keep selling just remember y'all CRYSTALS COME FROM THE EARTH THEY ARE NEVER MADE!!!!!! read more

1.5 stars. I used to like this store, but not really anymore. My last few visits have been lackluster and walking out empty-handed. There seemed to have been more merchandise to my liking 2+ years ago. It's a shame. I used to be excited to come here, but not anymore. I bought mostly jewelry in the past. The employees have usually been so-so regarding friendliness. read more

a unpleasant experience...i was bringing my sister and her friends to the mall to go on a little shopping spree and the first store they wanted to go in was earthbound. As we were going to check out one of ladies accused my 13 year old sister of stealing a "weed" necklace...i even asked them to pull up "footage" of them stealing since they "knew" it was them they said they couldn't and i was forced to pay for something she didn't take and i had to speak to the MALL POLICE about this horrible experience and even horrible customer service...hope to hear back soon about this horrible situation read more

The staff here Helpful AF. Lol a little too helpful, they helped me Invision a cute outfit and I just had to buy the whole ensemble. Of course thats a great characteristic. The guy that helped me was Carlos (dude with piercings), recommend he quits to be a personal Stylist. If I was more well off I would hire him, but *clears throat* thats not the case rn lol. All in all keep up the good work. read more

Earthbound Trading Co. has quickly become one of our favorite shops in the Tyler Galleria..indeed, in Riverside in general! We discovered this little gem quite by accident. Usually when the wife and I visit this mall, we usually enter through the entrance near Charming Charlie's and roam around from there. But one day the parking lot was full and we had to park in the parking structure near Macy's. Entering the mall from the Macy's Entrance, we stumbled upon this little gem of a spot; and we're quite glad we did! How does one describe Earthbound? Bohemian is probably the best word. It appeals to the inner-hippy in everyone. Tapestries... unusual clothes... crystals...soaps...leather-bound journals...salt lamps...tarot cards...and so much more can be found here! We always pop in when we visit the mall because you never know what kind of fun, unusual stuff you may find here! Even if you read many of the other Yelps on here, you'll only get a small sense of the funky, cool vibe here. The employees here are usually quite friendly and helpful; and they are almost always having some kind of "BOGO" or other sale on something or another. The prices are so so, but you'll be sure to find something with all the cool sales. Apparently this store is part of a small chain across the country. It really adds a cool sense of flair to the Tyler Galleria. I hope it lasts awhile. I've already found numerous birthday and Christmas presents for friends and family from here! You probably will too! read more

This place is so racist and for what? The old lady followed me around the store literally looking into my bag and asking if I wanted it in the front, talking to me about her son knowing my native language(doesn't even know me????), literally would not leave me alone even if I said I was just looking. Fun place to have anxiety in too cause I promise you all eyes will be on you if you aren't white. read more

I've been to the Tyler Mall several times but this past holiday season was my first time inside this gem of a store. Buddhas and Crystals, dream catchers, some clothing items, jewelry, home decor and so much more! I wanted to buy everything I saw, it's a very spiritual vibes store unlike the others. The staff is nice. The prices are extremely reasonable, they were having a buy one get one 50% off on the entire store including clearance items. It's one of those shopping experiences where you leave with a smile on your face because the store itself is peaceful and full of small wonders. I will definitely visit and walk out with a purchase every time I'm at this mall. I'll attach a photo of my wood coasters, super cute! $14.99 but I didn't pay full price. read more

We visited this store yesterday. They have various items of jewelry, pillows, decorations, and clothing. My wife purchased a knitted scarf. I liked some of the stone jewelry. What also caught my eye was some of the acrylic molds that have bugs like scorpions and beatles inside them. These would make interesting gifts. The store was clean and well organized inside. The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. We will come back again. read more

I love how eclectic this store is. I enjoy their colorful displays that all look like I feel like I'm in a bazaar somewhere. I have bought some lovely jewelry from here and also some decor from my home. I always make it a point to show this store to my friends when I'm at the mall. I wanted to write a review now because of the help of a young lady who worked there. I was looking for a gift for my mom that was practical as well as pretty for her birthday. She asked my budget and helped me find a hymilayan rock crystal lamp. It was beautiful and my mom loved it. I really appreciated her help and even went back into the store to thank her. I will definitely go there when I'm looking for something unique, whether it's for me or for a gift. read more

Just got racially profiled , by an associated , I'm pretty sure she was the manager. Right when I walked in I was being watched by associates, felt uncomfortable but continued to shop , one of the associates walked up to me and asked to hold my stuff while we looked I felt as if I had no choice to give her my items as she was already grabbing them out of my hands which made me very uncomfortable as a continued costumer until this current event . As a crystal store the energy is supposed to feel comforting and welcoming , instead it felt extremely uncomfortable and unwelcoming. If I could give this 0 stars I would . Never coming back to this store . read more

I love this store. When we go to the Tyler Mall in Riverside, I always visit that store. It reminds me of the 60s, I call it the Hippie Store. I have bought clothes there and jewelry and most important, my CBD cream for my achy joints. I found the store about two years ago and am glad it looks like it will be there for some time. And the workers are all very friendly and helpful. read more

Priscilla is always so helpful and has amazing customer service! I love this store so much.

Be careful if you're a person of color, they don't treat you like the rest. We were not welcomed, or asked if we needed help, but customers that came in behind us that are not of color was treated well, greeted and very welcomed. We left immediately! Will never shop here. read more

i came in the other day with multiple heavy shopping bags and i was having trouble walking around the store while browsing until an employee offered to grab my bags and keep them on the back of the cashiers counter so i can browse with ease. he didn't have to do that but he did and it was extremely kind. all of the employees were super helpful and nice. not all employees at tyler mall are so welcoming but everyone at earth bound is always kind and i always have a good experience at that store. 10/10 for me. read more

This is my favorite shop at this mall! So many awesome, interesting & unique gift ideas. There are some clothes, jewelry, purses, and lots of home accents. Some stuff is a bit pricey...just a bit...but not everything. I really loved the framed photographs & the glass mosaics for the wall. Along with the giant rock mineral rings. Everything has that handcrafted, earthy feel. Love it...love it all! read more

Like the store and went few times just for jewelry , clothes are VERY cheap quality, and only worth clearance, they come apart as soon as you wear it.... so overall not worth the purchase, but worth the browse read more

I lost my luggage when visiting a friend and outfitted myself for a week (except panties) from this shop and Forever 21 in the same mall. Buy one, get one half off. Great jewelry, too. The clerk remembered me when I walked in a couple of months later. That's a nice touch :) read more

Amazing! Staff is so amazing and nice. I have never found anything I don't love here. Best store at the mall by far.

Purchased a great gifts for my mom here. She has a 1960 bohemian swagger mixed with elements of just being a mom so the clothing was perfect. Great customer service by Chris and Christine who both went above an beyond to help me find what was right. This type of salesmenship is hard to come by and should Be rewarded. read more
