I've never written a bad review for anything before but my experience was such a bad one I had to write this. I called Steve on Wednesday morning and I was told that I could get an oil change on Saturday and he will get back to me. I didn't get a call back so I called him on Thursday afternoon and I was told he will find out shortly and I will get a call back, but I never did. I left multiple phone messages, but he never got back to me and I had to drive long distance without an oil change on Monday. It's been two weeks and I still haven't heard anything from him and I obviously got an oil change else where after I got back from my trip. I was excited to use his service after reading such a good reviews, but I was very disappointed by his lack of professionalism and reliability. I have used Steve's mobile oil changing services for 7 years now. Because of how easy he makes it I never miss an oil change and I have had fewer problems with my truck than I have ever had before. I simply call him up and let him know it is time. He calls me back to coordinate where my truck will be on the day he can work on it. He shows up to where I am, takes my keys, completes the service, hands me my keys back and takes my payment on his mobile phone device. Total time lost in my day is only about 5-10 minutes depending on how long I keep him talking. His service includes changing the oil and oil filter, checking the tire pressure and adjusting them as needed; checking all other fluids and filling them ups as needed (washer fluid, brake fluid, engine coolant, power steering fluid, automatic transmission fluid); sometimes I ask him to replace my air filter if it is needed and my windshield wiper blades. His prices are very affordable...and given that I don't have to take the time from my day to drive somewhere and sit on hard uncomfortable seats in queue behind a bunch of other peoples it is definitely the best value in town. His coming to visit me is definitely far better than my having to drive to any of the other brick and mortar lube places in town. read more

What a great way to get an oil change. Steve has been taking care of my Jetta Turbo Diesel for a couple of years now. Much easier that waiting at an oil change place while they have to send someone to get the special oil filter the turbo uses. I just call Steve the day before and he shows up with the filter and synthetic oil that the diesel needs. I dont know what happened with the recent negative review, but that hasnt been my experience. Wow. Customer service par excellence. I had used Steve at Easy Oil Change once before and it went so well that I called him a second time. Remembering that I had walked two blocks to a downtown parking garage in the summer heat to bring my car to him the first time, he offered to take my key and do the walk himself so that I wouldn't be inconvenienced. Unfortunately, he had a small fender bender in my car against a concrete pillar in the garage. He pointed it out to me right away and did not charge me for the oil change. He assured me that he would, of course, take care of having the damage repaired at his expense and to my complete satisfaction. He asked whether I had a preferred body shop (I did) and he did all the legwork of taking photos and taking them in person to various body shops to get estimates and to make sure I was well-informed regarding my choices. He also did all the back & forth in setting an appointment that was convenient for everyone. On the appointed day, I parked the car in front of my office and he arrived promptly to take it to the shop. Yes, he's the one who coordinated the pickup and drop off with the help of his wife so that I could go back upstairs to my office and go about my day. The shop had promised a same-day job, but when it became clear the car would have to stay overnight, he graciously offered to loan me his wife's car (same make & model as mine) or else get me a rental. And not just any rental, one that would be the equivalent of what I currently drive and nothing less. My husband was able to give me a ride so it was not a big deal but wow... he was so concerned about whether I (or my husband) would be inconvenienced. No one does that anymore. After it was all said and done (the car looks great, by the way... you can't even tell), Steve followed up with an offer to do my next oil change and transmission service for free, AND to treat my husband and me to some favorite restaurant of ours. Totally over the top. We declined the restaurant but did tell him that his attentive manner and overall fantastic service had been duly noted and that we'd gladly use him again, recommend him to our friends, and write him a great Yelp review.
