UPDATED REVIEW from 5 to 1 stars: I got an oil change here since I got my car. Car started having issues with starter so mechanic did a full diagnostic. One of the issues my car had was that it was leaking oil and it was low on oil. So once it was fixed it got taken to get an oil change at a different location. There they told us that the last place to do my oil change (THIS LOCATION) had put the completely wrong oil in my car. That it was too thin and that's why I was leaking oil. New place to do the change was also a Jiffy Lube so they were unbiased. Had the person who did the oil change write a note on my receipt. Don't come to this place they will mess up your car up. They're lucky I don't take some kind of action against them. If it leaks again after this oil change you bet I'm coming back here. read more

There's nothing wrong with this facility that can't be fixed by Jiffy Lube corporate. The teams were short staffed and overworked. Approaching this facility with an estimate generated from the Jiffy Lube website was a feature that came across as something they didn't see often. Personally I blame the website for not being able to generate an estimate down to the penny, and the final receipt came across as complicated as it was confusing. So, five stars to the crew, but two stars to corporate and their lousy website, not to mention their confounding receipts. read more

Went in early morning for an oil change. Christy and Dacious were prompt to greet me, efficient with their work, and friendly. I had two toddlers with me and it was great to get to stay in the car and be out within 30 min. Christy even made the extra effort to remove leaves in the space between my hood and windshield. I drove to this Jiffy Lube on a saturday at 12:45pm to get my annual vehicle inspection. There were no cars in line and the service guy came out and asked if I was busy today? He asked if I could come back later? He said all 3 of the employees decided to take lunch break at the same time. This wasted my time and my gas to drive all the way there for no reason. If the store hours show you are Open then you should be Open. I will never go back to this store again. read more

Chrissy and her crew run a tight ship. I have not, in my 30 years as a JL customer, had more efficient or more friendly service.

So this is more of a rant on the way companies like Jiffy Lube conduct business and not really at all reflective of the specific maintenance persons that helped me today at a particular location. Because at the end of the day, this is more on me than anything. And I'm the kind of sucker that businesses like Jiffy Lube count on. I go into a north Austin location this morning just wanting a signature oil change. I get there, I'm met by an employee who says that it'll be a few because their coworker is running late. No problem. A few minutes later, they show up. I roll into the bay and they get started. Very courteous and direct. They do all the things that a signature oil change comes with (which is something I can't say my last two visits to other JL locations did). And one of the workers comes to me with my cabin air filter. Points out rat droppings and asks if I'd like them to install a new one. Now, I tell myself when I go to service places like this that I have to be mindful of what they try to upsell me on. Because I know I likely can do certain things myself for less money. However, I see the filter and I'm pretty grossed out. It wasn't covered in rat dookie just a few pebbles but it's gross thinking that's what you're breathing in. The worker points that out as well. Now, I don't feel pressured nor do I think I was tricked into buying a new cabin filter. I ask about the price and when they said it was $47.99, I KNEW that was probably at least twice as much as it would be if I just bought it myself elsewhere. But I agree to it. Work is done and the employees were nice and helpful. I decide to look this up and sure enough, cabin filters are a fraction of what I was charged. And of course installing them is the easiest thing. So I'm not even mad just disappointed in myself and just wondering why would Jiffy Lube want to hoodwink their customers so badly with prices like these? Especially when the products they are offering are basic products and hardly top of the line? Anyway, that's all. I know I'm hardly the first person to complain about this but wanted to get it out and feel a bit better. Also, I remember a time when JL offered better coupons for their signature oil changes. read more

Great service!! There were a few cars so a short wait but totally worth it. The team was fast, efficient and also nice! Totally recommend!

Value isn't there when it is $114 for the "lower cost option" for nothing but an oil change. Printed receipt was a totally blank piece of paper. I specifically asked if tire pressure was checked and if they were properly inflated and was I told it was. I had checked pressure right before I went because the sensor had tripped and all tires were still low and matched exactly what they were before I went That required another stop to actually inflate properly inflate them. Also, jiffy now apparently means an hour. read more

I've come here multiple times for oil changes and leave happy every time. There never seems to be too long of a wait and the employees are always careful and do everything by the book. Their pricing is pretty standard compared to other oil change places, but they always have some sort of coupon. Chrissy has been there the past couple of times I've gone and is always very friendly and doesn't try to upsell. I can't speak to their other services, but if you need an oil change look no further! read more

I have to say my experience at this Jiffy Lube location was outstanding. As I pulled into the garage, I was greeted by such professionalism from the manager and the gentleman working there were so polite and really made my experience so smooth. I felt like I pulled into a pit stop from a race track. Everyone here worked well together and communicated as a team. I was in and out within 10 minutes. This Jiffy Lube has been consistently good and easy to get in to, since we moved back to Texas. We ended up building a house further out of Austin, but we still bring our vehicles here for oil changes and inspections. My husband and I both appreciate the friendly service. They are also up front and honest about wait times and even one time that their credit card system was down. My younger brother worked for a Jiffy Lube, in my small home town, when we were teenagers, and this locations gives off the same friendly vibes. Highly recommend, this location. They're real easy to get to, as well. read more

The guy that was working on my car gave me regular updates on what he was doing and how much longer it would take which was much appreciated. I have stopped by this location twice this week and both times there were no cars there and the repair person said they couldn't do my vehicle inspection. On the first encounter I arrived at 9:47 and was told inspections don't start until 10:00 despite everything standing around with no vehicles in the bay. On the second encounter the worker said they were shout staffed and couldn't do my inspection because they had to give priority to oil changes- there weren't any cars waiting for in the bays and the two guys stood and talked. I have has oil changes and inspections at this location. It has seriously gone down hill. I will not be back. read more

I like Jiffy Lube. They have a computer screen that shows the customer options and prices for different services. They went through everything with me before doing an oil change so that I know what to expect to pay before they service my car. That's a really great feature. I'm also getting a discount coupon for my full synthetic oil change. I also got a state inspection because it was time to do that too. read more

I took my car to get brake maintence done. I figured while I was there I would have them change the oil, it would be $20.00 cheaper than jiffy lube so I thought to give them a shot. And am I glad I did as this jiffy lube didn't put an oil filter on my car the last time it was serviced. Can you believe that? Just didn't put it on. Shameful to change someone for an oil filter and just leave it completely off the car. Do yourself a favor and take it to Garcia's precision auto in south Austin- (512) 292-6969. Terrible customer service. I pulled up to get an oil change and one of the two employees was sitting in his personal car texting, the other comes out of the office to greet me with a pissed off look on his face. (I was the only customer here the entire time) I asked if I should just drive onto the station and he says yes. Once I'm about halfway down he comes up to my window and berates me for not waiting for him to guide me up. I replied that he could've easily mentioned that to me when I asked what to do. He guides me up and then comes back to my window to tell me I need to back all the way up to try again and reminded me this is why its important to wait for someone to guide me in, which I reminded him yet again he could've easily instructed me at the start when I had to ask him what to do. I dont expect a high level of service from youth but this was pretty bad. I want to chalk it up as the kid was having a bad day and I caught him at the wrong time. No smile, no masks, no thank you, just two kids collecting a pay check. I also had to remind him to reset the light before I departed which you'd think would be pretty standard with a $120 oil change. read more

DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION. I drove in multiple times over the course of MONTHS to get my vehicle inspected and EVERY TIME there was some guy that came out like "what's up" and told me their "inspection machine was down" or "their inspector was on lunch"! Really? Every single time over the course of months this is the case? Seems to be convenient for the employees that work there but NOT the customer. It's offensive to be treated that way at a business in my own neighborhood. Just awful! read more

The ONLY reason I am giving this a one-star is because of the what those employees had to deal with today. It is in the 30's, and the guys who worked on my car had no heat. NO HEAT! That's not only dangerous, it's counter-productive for the Jiffy Lube Management. These are people...who should be working in humane conditions. This could easily turn into a lawsuit. As someone who had my oil changed there, I WANT the people working on my cars to be happy and healthy. What if they left the cap off because the conditions are so rough? Or they get dizzy from the pneumonia they are catching and put in the wrong oil? Or their fingers freeze and they can't feel if the hose is tight enough? I'm exaggerating, but it still doesn't make me feel confident that my car will be processed correctly when the workers are battling such inhumane conditions. If I was the manager of that station, I would have been down there with space heaters and hot cocoa. And I would have ordered a rush on fixing the heating. Seriously...shame on you, Jiffy Lube Corporate! read more

I didn't have time to clean it myself with baby and I was so much appreciated when they did it! Without even telling me...
