So, I usually dread doing any errands for my car due to previous poor experiences at other places getting my car serviced for almost anything, but this Jiffy Lube location keeps me coming back! I got my oil changed here before and had a pleasant experience so I figured I'd get my inspection done here as well today. Michael P had outstanding customer service while inspecting my vehicle and Micheal C who had helped with my oil change last time, was so polite while checking me out. With COVID going on, they have you stay in your car while they hook it up to inspect it which could be awkward but he was very respectful and had great manners while also communicating what he was doing from beginning to end. It didn't take long at all either, I did wait a little bit but not too long and once again the communication was excellent. This was so refreshing!! I called this location a while back to see if they had time for me to drive up (10 minutes) to get an inspection. I was told to come on up. Got there and there was a vehicle in front of me. Gentleman came out and explained it would be 30 minutes. I told him thank you and left. This happens. Business's get busy. Decided to drive by today. When I got there, another gentleman came out and let me know it would be about 30 minutes. So I asked why? He told me that they were having problems completing the vehicle in the building in front of me. I told him I understood. I asked if I could go get my grocery pickup from Walmart and come back in 30 minutes? He said yes. I left, pick up groceries, dropped them off at my house and was back 3 minutes early. A different gentleman came out and let me know it would 45 minutes now. I told him I was told that I could come back in 30 minutes. He went in the building and then came back out. Told me that it would be an hour. I have now wasted my fuel and my personal time twice! Never again! This is ridiculous. This place is horrible. Beware!!! read more

The nicest service ever. I think out of all the Jiffy Lube's that I have gone to since my 15 years here in the state, this is the nicest, customer service and friendly employees ever. There was only one young man working at the time that I could see. He addressed my concerns immediately and made adjustments to my tire pressure. I always check jiffylube.com for a coupon before getting a full synthetic oil change. Needed a fast oil Change because I was headed to Dallas, pulled in, greeted by Oliver who literally stayed by the driver's side window the entire time my oil was being changed by his 2-man crew. I never got out of my vehicle. Was there for less than 10-15 minutes. They pointed out a few things that may need attention in the future, while under the hood. I can't rave about the staff at this Jiffy Lube enough! I've been multiple times, and always have a great experience. Today, I went for a vehicle inspection and Vinh and Dustin/Devin (?) were AMAZING! They work so hard and are quick. Most importantly, they are super honest. I have been coming to this location for over two years and usually had good service. This particular Saturday I called ahead to make sure a state inspector would be there and the manager Mike told me that they would have one today until 5:00 PM and the latest that I could come in is 4:45 PM. I drove twenty minutes on get here only to be told by Don that the car next to me is the last inspection for the day when I arrived at 4:00 PM and the store did close until 6:00 that day. I told him that I called ahead to make sure there was an inspector and what time he told me to come by but Don did not care and told me to talk to someone else. Don's attitude reflected that that was not his job or problem but someone else should see to it. These moments of conflict that truly represent an organization and how it handles and takes care of its customers. I will no longer be coming to his store. read more

This business is true to their name due to the speedy service they offer from the moment you pull up. They'll have you leave your car and give you a time estimate so you can go inside and "make yourself at home." You'll soon get an estimate for the service cost and follow up if they notice anything wrong under the hood. I like that they are respectful to the interior by putting down covers and even a steering wheel cover. It seems like the interior is actually cleaner when they're done than when they started. They check fluid levels, air filters, and tire pressure. Of course, these checks are done to see if they can get more services done, but it's easy to say know and have the knowledge for later. Once you pay, you'll be left with an estimated date and mileage for the next oil service based on your car. I've always experienced only 15-20 minutes of waiting, even with people ahead of me! I did leave off a star for being a bit pricey, but I'll pay more to now sit around for an hour or so like other places. read more

Called Saturday and asked if the inspector would be there the following day and was told yes. Even asked "oh wow really?" Was told "yes" again. Went Sunday and was told the inspector was not there. When I told the guy I had called the day before and was assured he would be there he couldn't give me an answer. If the inspector called in sick I could understand. In the past this location broke my ladder rack off of my taller work van, after I told them to remove the banner which was hanging to low and wouldn't clear my ladder rack. They did pay for the damages so I thought it was safe to come back and give them another chance. Today I attempted another oil change with two vehicles. I asked if my taller van would fit in their bay and they said yes, so I waited over an hour in line just to be turned around when they said it was too tall and wouldn't clear. I paid for my girlfriends car to get an oil change and the heavy weight white bald gentleman told me her car needed a transmission flush, brake fluid flush and battery. I declined this upgrade and wanted just the oil change. He then tells my girlfriend behind my back "looks like your boyfriend doesn't have a lot of money today". Then touches her arm. As If all of this wasn't already unprofessional enough. Then while leaving the garage bay the black gentleman say to my girlfriend " your pretty can I get your phone number?" Had I known she experienced this interaction I would have confronted both gentleman. Ghetto shop for sure. read more

Ive been doing business with Jiffy Lube at various locations in the Austin area for a number of years. I've been satisfied enough to warrant a return until I visited this location. Upon arrival I requested Quaker State 10W30 and Keith acknowledged that would be fine. I left the car a couple of hours to return later for pick up. When I returned to collect the car and pay, I verified with the cashier that they'd used Quaker State but was informed they only have Pennzoil and that Is what was used. Seeing that the balance was higher than I was expecting , I asked what services had been performed for the $77 charge. I was told the car had received an oil and filter change, an air check on all 4 tires, windshield had been cleaned, and Inside floorboards had been vacuumed. I discovered a couple of days later that there was no new sticker indicating the date and mileage next service would be due and the old sticker I had arrived with had been left in place. Also my tire light had come on the dash, indicating improper tire pressure, so I pulled into my regular tire shop to have it checked. He advised me 3 of the 4 tires were improperly inflated, one being 12 lbs under and one being 10 lbs over. Needless to say I won't return for future business at this location nor recommend it. It's apparent that either more training or some quality control would serve them well. read more

DONT TRUST THEM Ive been going to Jiffy Lube for about 3years. Gotten my brakes done, inspections, and numerous oil changes there. But Never Again. I could look past 30$ oil changes, but then they turned into 75$oil changes. And more importantly, I suspect them of tampering with my brand new belt in order to charge me 150$+ for a new one! I have only had my car for 2 years, and my belt was only a year or so old. While at jiffy lube, I had the Jiffy Lube mechanic pull me to look in my car at my "cracked belt", who then told me it wasn't safe to drive with a belt that was likely to break. I recently took it to a way more trusted family mechanic to get the belt changed, and this man showed me my full belt(off of the car). He showed me how new my belt looked (it still folds like how they are packaged, and intact serial numbers). He told me it looks like someone Cut it with something because it shows absolutely no signs of wear and tear. So I warn You against going there. I know they have lost my business. read more

I've visited Jiffy Lube locations all over Austin but have never had such an awful experience. Went in for a simple oil change. I declined the $50 air filter (knowing I could DIY for $12). They said my radiator reservoir was bone dry and so I paid $5 to fill it knowing that was a priority. Driving home all warning lights came on. Turns out the radiator was empty when I arrived home. The air filter was 1/2 out and the cover for the air filter was not put back on. These issues caused $200 in additional (emergency) repairs that had to be done on the weekend. Don't go here. It was either sloppy work, or they got pissy for not buying an air filter. read more

I have been taking my car to this location for about 3 years. Last year a new manager/owner took over and the service is terrible. They obviously can't remove a oil drain plug without stripping the threads. They even bought a machine to suck the oil out so they don't have to touch the oil drain plug. The machine doesn't always work so they might strip the threads in your oil pan leading to an expensive repair. They will try and cover up there mistake by using silicon to hold your drain plug in. I know mistakes happen but don't trust a business that won't own up to their mistakes. Stay far away from this business if you value your car. read more
