I went to Easy Float on the recommendation of a friend, as well as needing a way to unwind that wasn't a massage, as I don't particularly like them. I'm a nurse in a pediatric ICU and am always looking for new ways to relax. Bryan, the owner, makes you feel comfortable immediately upon entering, like you're with a friend. He gives you a tour and explains everything fully before starting. It comes with earplugs (which i definitely recommend, as salt finds a way to get everywhere), shampoo and soap, and a rinse for your ears afterwards to get salt water out. You step into what looks like a giant enclosed bathtub. However, you're never completely closed off, so if you have claustrophobia, this is a good one. And even if you still have a freakout and need the lights back, you can wave your arm outside the tank, and the lights are motion activated. You come back to the real world slowly as well. First music begins to play and then the lights slowly come on, so it's not a shock to your system. I plan on buying a monthly package, as this was such a great experience. read more

My boyfriend and I had our first floats yesterday and I was so pleased! Right off the bat you're greeted with tea and if smells pretty it's a nice calm relaxing environment. The girl who helped us get started had great positive energy and gave us nice thorough directions. The place is really nice and clean including the showers tanks all that important stuff and also nice and spacious not claustrophobic whatsoever! I definitely see why they recommend doing more than one float as well because if your like me you will spend some of your first time adjusting to get comfortable and overthinking the process a little bit. I have to add that I left feeling different, I felt truly stress free and I have severe back pain and this took almost all of it away when I've tried many many things. I would definitely highly recommend not only floating to anyone who hasn't tried it but especially this particular establishment is really top notch they even provide shampoo, conditioner for after and body wash for you ! read more

I floated for the first time yesterday, and it was a very mind-opening experience. I did not fall asleep but it was such a great way to meditate and gain a new perspective. I am naturally fidgety and could not stay still, so instead I moved around in the water and meditated with the movement and breathing. The movement (especially moving my spine side to side with my hands under my head) was like being in space and that's why I couldn't resist moving: it's very freeing. My back felt great afterwards. It's also mentally freeing. You can't help but see things differently after experiencing that environment. They give you a halo-shaped float for your head that I highly recommend. Very clean and inviting environment! Floated for my second time and it was great. I liked the fact that the floats happen in a smaller room rather than an actual tank. Soft music and a calming light come on towards the end of the float to let you know the time is up which was cool. I felt incredibly relaxed after the float. Did my first float last night. My husband went a few weeks ago and could not stop raving. As a new business, I do have a few suggestions that would make it a 5 star and all of these have nothing to do with the actual float experience :) Conditioner is a must in the showers. As a women with long hair I had to go home and shower again because there was no conditioner. Also would like to see lotion in the private rooms rather then in community space since I like putting it allover, not just on exposed skin after I am dressed. It was super relaxing and I will be back! read more
