From the moment I stepped in I was treated with thoughtfulness and respect. Russ gave me a full introduction into all the steps (I'd never done a float before) and then stepped out to let me get to it. The decor was calm and restful and felt very polished and refined. There were both small booths and large ones - the latter of which I tried for 90 minutes. The sensation itself was amazing. After a few minutes it started to feel like I was floating in space rather than in water. The sensation lasted for most of my experience and interestingly my mind felt more comfortable "moving about the cabin" than during my normal meditations. Uh oh. I said the "m" word. Did that turn you off? Let me clear something up: it doesn't matter if you meditate - you will likely love this experience unless the darkness, water, and/or confined spaces are hard for you. If you DO meditate, be ready for a unique and restful session which allows you to experience your practice in a whole new way. I'm sold. I'll be back. Float on. PS: Have some tea! read more

This place is sooooooooo much better than the other float place in town. Worlds apart, actually, It is whisper quiet and when you get into the tanks, you step into a totally different world. They have pumped in huge amounts of cash to make this a very special experience indeed. The staff is friendly, kind and helps you feel comfortable. The owner is awesome!!! You've got to try floating. This is my very first float tank experience and it was a less than desirable one to say the least. I bought the introductory 3-pack in September. Scheduling was easy and fine. I walked in at my appointment time and no one was at the front desk. I heard someone in the other room watching a TV show on the phone, couldn't miss it because it was very loud. I waited a few minutes and after no one coming out, I then announced myself. This woman came out, didn't even say hi or sorry, asked if I had an appointment and showed me to the room with no instructions. I figured it out and got in the tub. After floating for a while, I started fishing hair with my hands. I was so grossed out, there were a lot of hair and I just had to get out as quickly as possible. I left feeling so disgusted after what I needed it to be a relaxing time. I called to speak to a manager and left my info at the front desk and got no response. I emailed and no response! So very disappointed and wish I had not purchased a 3-pack which will now go to waste. read more

I love this place: clean, friendly, and relaxing. I've gone to Isolate three times so far, and each time has been unique and healing. Floating is like a bubble bath on steroids: a time to dedicate to yourself, meditation, positive affirmations, and relaxing. The first time was before a jiujitsu competition, and I did positive affirmations and visualizations for the tournament. I also got to a place of self-forgiveness, which was powerful. I ended up with two gold medals. The second time was before finals week. It was a great re-set and confidence booster for the week. I aced all my papers and projects. The third time was before a major job interview. I did meditations, visualizations, and positive affirmations to get my body and mind ready for me to be my best self. The job interview couldn't have gone better. Amazing. Every single time. Changed my life. read more

I was an isolation tank virgin before going to Isolate, and boy, what a great first time they gave me. Staff is super friendly, knowledgeable and passionate about floating. The tank room, including a private bathroom with shower, is clean and well-appointed. Onto the float itself. I have no basis for comparison, but I felt the Samadhi tank was excellent. Completely sound-proof (even though the room faces a parking lot in a small business park), pitch-black. Water temperature is kept right at skin temp. Only had two drips, toward the end of my float. Tank itself was the perfect size for me to remain centered without touching a wall. It's a very personal and subjective experience, but I found floating to be blissful. You're finding your bearings and adjusting to the sensory deprivation for the first 15-20 minutes or so, but after that your body and mind agree on a new rhythm and the experience begins. You have a couple of choices: wend your way through the mental clutter and try to work some things out, or let your consciousness drift out of you and embrace the nothingness. It really is unlike anything else you've ever felt, somewhere between napping, scuba diving and spacewalking. When your time is up, an "alarm" of ambient music slowly builds through speakers in the tank. Hearing the music after 90 minutes of silence is almost euphoric; I would even be interested in listening to music during a float sometime, because the lack of other sensory input seems to heighten how you hear it. After I got out (and showered off all the salt), I was walking on air for a couple of hours. Much like when the music plays in the tank, there's a sort of re-introduction to the elements that borders on tipsy. In the end I found the relaxation effect to be deeper than that of acupuncture, with a more pronounced feeling of happiness. The value for an Isolate float is outstanding. Definitely opt for the 90-minute float for $50--a small price to pay for such an amazing experience. I can't wait to go back. read more

The care with which they provide the tank and space I used was readily apparent and eases the float experience. The experience was great but the customer service was HORRIBLE. The young man working the front desk was rude and seemed annoyed that I was there. Complained about how he would have to clean after my appointment. Very unwelcoming for my first visit, and although I liked it and will definitely do it again, it won't be at this place. read more

This was a great relaxing experience. I really appreciated that they had an entire bathroom set up in the float room as opposed to just a shower like other places I have gone. I wish that they had the wax ear plugs instead of the foam ones as those seem to work a little bit better. I also wish there was the option to have relaxing music playing during your float as that helps me relax even more. But overall it was worth the 50 minute drive. read more

This place is fantastic. I'd been wanting to try isolation tanks for a long time, but hadn't gotten to a place where I would have been ready. Yesterday on a whim (or a sign from the universe......) I booked an appointment for myself-they were able to see me in the next two hours, which I was really happy about. First off, the staff is great. Friendly, knowledgeable and very calming. I was still nervous about floating for the first time but Ash put me right at ease as I walked in. The rooms are gorgeous, clean, and very spa-like-not what I was expecting to say the least. The float itself was...amazing. It is two days later and I still feel relaxed, at ease, at much more at peace with myself and my mental state. I've had mental clarity that I haven't had in a long time, and I've already made some positive life choices that I had been VERY stuck on for a long time previously. While I was in the tank I had quite a few powerful insights that translated into immediate action on my part to deal with the situations. I'm also a sufferer of chronic depression, and I have had SO much of the physical pain associated with that lift, as well as really powerful insight into my negative thought patterns that are keeping me down. I slept well for the first time in months unaided by pills or drugs last night, and that alone is enough to bring me back again. I got back in touch with myself as someone who is beautiful and sexy...and I even got to play around swimming in the tank...play has been missing from my life for such a long time and I'm overjoyed to have it back. I will definitely float here again in the near future, the benefits are totally worth the cost. Go in with an open mind, no expectations, and relax as much as possible...each float is different and each person is different....and, I will be back very soon, with more family and friends. read more

I love isolate! Staff is genuine and helpful. Ben has a beautiful facility, I love that the float tank room is private with a private bathroom and shower as well. If you have not yet experienced a float, this is a must life experience. I personally think you have to go more than once to truly enjoy the whole experience. read more

This place was really nice and clean. It was super relaxing and completely silent when I was in the float tank. No outside noise to distract me from getting into a super deep meditation while floating on my back in the dark. The water was the perfect temperature and I felt super relaxed the whole time in the tank (which is hard for me to do most of the time with my anxiety issues). I felt very comfortable and serene. It was a no-brainer to sign up for the monthly float membership. I did a good amount of floating in the Bay Area and Isolate ranks up there with the best. There is a nice private bathroom with a shower, toiletries, towels and robe in each suite. The float room is serene and soothing. I also really like that I can choose a crystal and place it above my tank while I float. Afterwards you can chill for a bit in the small lounge area with some tea or water. Floating is supposed to be a relaxing experience but the management here makes it anything but that. This all started about a year ago for Christmas. My fiancé bought me a gift card to float. I was very excited! After about 2 months of calling and sending emails they finally responded to me to be able to book an appointment. They were closed for relocation at this time, but all advertisement implied you could still contact them. They had no problem responding when you want to buy something from them, but they wouldn't respond when I tried to redeem what we bought! During this frustrating time, my fiancé left a review directly on their website of our frustrations - well they deleted it. So don't trust the reviews on their website as they aren't genuine because they pick and chose which ones they would like on there. We were finally able to float in April of 2018. The tanks are nice and it's a clean facility. They marked us down as a no show, but I guess it doesn't matter because we were able to float. It just gives you a glimpse of their business skills. While we were there they insured us they had us in their files and we no longer needed to keep our gift cards and that we have 2 more floats. We then went back about a few months later in December of 2018. Guess what - they had no record of us! After writing in to management, since the manager would not answer the phone while we are at the facility. we are having trouble getting all of our questions answered. They respond many days later and don't respond to the entire email. This has been such a head ache. They will not confirm that we have another session left. I'm still waiting for a response to an email I sent last week. There are many more options to float, so make sure you chose somewhere that will give you the full relaxing experience. Also, the fact that they can't even update their address and phone number online after having moved a year ago tells you exactly how they run a business. read more
