Yelp Review 2026 #190:…read more I had a layover at BWI airport. I landed at gate E and had to catch my next flight at gate B. I have Global Entry and TSA Precheck so the process was much easier and faster. However, there was no signage where to exit. I found somebody to ask and directed me to the right direction. Then, I encountered 2 separate lines: connecting flights on the left and exit on the right and I was told to go to the right which didn't make sense since I need to catch my connecting flight but CBP agent told me I need to exit and go through security again and get to terminal B. So, why the signage? It's either no signage or if they do have signage, it's wrong. I made it to security before heading to the domestic terminals. The touchless TSA Precheck was closed off so I went to regular Precheck. I told the TSA agent I had touchless Precheck and he told me "next time go to touchless Precheck!" I asked him if he has seen anybody in line for touchless Precheck, no, because it's roped off meaning it's closed! He then drops my passport and boarding pass. There are moving walkways to expedite hopping from terminal E to B. However, people were blocking the walkway and not moving! If you're standing, stay on the right and let people that are walking pass on the left! It just seemed like everyone's first day on earth. The restrooms aren't the best nor the cleanest. They don't have good options for lounges so I skipped that and went to eat at two airport restaurants. They do have a nice selection of restaurants.

Used to love flying on southwest when your bags would be free but now that they have changed I…read moredon't know. This was my first time flying with them since the change. Seems like they nickel and dime you for everything. So many options for seating and so many additional charges. Bags are now 35 a piece. The nice thing is that you can select your seat. No more worries about not getting to sit with your family. The seats on this flight seems to me a bit more spacious, enough leg room for me and I am 6'2". The plane did seem newer. They had usb ports in the seats for easy phone charging. My flight took off and landed on time, though I know that's largely out of the airline's control. I would still fly for short trips that I only need a carry on.

Yelp Review 2026 #189:…read more Flying from Jamaica and back home, I flew with Southwest because it was free for me. Southwest posts videos of how great, friendly and happy their staff and passengers are. However, this particular experience from Baltimore to Vegas was far from that. First, my boarding gate kept changing from B to A and back to B2 to B12. Our flight was delayed. Second, I'm in boarding group 2 with a seat in the 2nd row. I had a carry-on and a backpack. I had nowhere to put my carry-on in the front because people in row 4-6 put their carry-ons and backpacks in the overhead bin above row 2! How did the flight attendants not catch this? I was going to put my carry-on above row 1 and the flight attendant tells me it won't fit when I put the same carry-on above row 1 in my previous flight! A nice gentleman offers to put my carry-on above row 4 and he also grabbed it for me when we landed. Thank goodness for him because the flight attendants were useless. I don't expect them to carry carry-ons but at least make sure people are placing their stuff above their assigned seats. I had Choice Extra. "Southwest Airlines uses eight numbered boarding groups. Group 2 is for Choice Extra fares, passengers who purchase an Extra Legroom seat, and A-List Preferred members. This group boards just after pre-boarding and Group 1. It ensures you get early access to overhead bin space. Extra Legroom seat customers get a complimentary premium snack on flights over 301 miles. Regular snacks are free on all flights over 251 miles. Premium snack options include: Wonderful® Pistachios (No Shells, Roasted & Salted)Siete® Mini Grain Free Mexican Wedding CookiesBobo's® Strawberry Stuff'd Oat BiteBlue Diamond® AlmondsRITZ® Cheese Cracker Sandwiches." Third, the flight attendants gave pistachios to people in row 1, 3-4 and completely skipped our row. Not that I need another bag or pistachios but it was as if we didn't exist! Fourth, there was no power outlet. Fifth, they're clearly understaffed. The poor gate agent was pushing people in wheelchairs, scanning their tickets, making announcements all by himself! This man needs a raise and recognition.

Each room comes with a day bed, a desk to work on, an Amazon Fire TV, and even an Amazon Alexa unit. Free Wi-Fi is also available. I didn't use it, so I can't speak to the speed. The rooms are small, but good for what you get. There were plenty of outlets and USB ports to charge my gear. When I checked in, I noticed that my room didn't have a blanket. I asked the lady, and she said she wasn't sure if she had any left... She found me a blanket, and said that I was lucky that I got the last one. A sleeping area with no blankets? Also, there were two pillows in my room, but they were relatively flat. I just folded one over, and I was fine. The daybed was a bit firm for my personal taste, but I still got a good nap. If you are a Priority Pass member, you get one hour. However, your free hour is on a. Walk-in/ space available basis. You can make a reservation online, but you have to make a reservation for two hours, And the second hour is $40. I had two hours before I could pick up my rental car anyway, so it wasn't a big deal. It was worth the price for the extra hour. This is not a lounge, just a sleeping area. They do have snacks/ drinks/sundries available, but there is a charge for them. There are no showers, and there is no restroom inside, however, the restrooms are only a few steps away from the entrance. Overall, it was a good experience. I would do it again. Thank you.

Since I haven't taken many vacations this year, the hubby said he'd use his points to book me a first class ticket. Of course I said yes! Above is the price / point breakdown. The flight there was fine. Got offered champagne before takeoff then fed a meal. The chose the cheese plate on the way there. Got the usual warm nuts to start. Ordered a few glasses of red wine and had a seltzer water as well. I was on the redeye, so was able to take a quick nap. The flight back, the plane was a little older. Felt slightly dingier. No champagne before takeoff offered. Got the usual nuts. For my meal, I got the Tomato and burrata manicotti and got a few glasses of champagne. Also took a nap here as well. There was a sharks and a warriors game while I was on the plane. Was able to stream after buying wifi. Both flights were fine, tho I do think if you fly first you should get access to the lounge. I believe they only do it on one of their routes domestically from SFO to EWR, but if you are flying basically the same amount of time, you should also get access. Not my favorite airline, but it will do. REVIEW #3873

Our experience with United Airlines has been incredibly disappointing, and unfortunately, it's not…read morebecause of the initial delay--it's because of how United handled everything afterward. Our two daughters, who are minors, were traveling from Wyoming to Newark on an early Monday morning flight. Before departure, the aircraft had to remove passengers and all checked baggage because it had been overfueled, creating a weight issue. Once in the air, the flight circled over Newark for hours before diverting to Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, because it was running low on fuel. From there, the situation only got worse. Instead of arriving with the passengers, our daughters' bags ended up scattered across the country. One bag was sent to Denver, another to Boston, and another to Newark. Since then, we've spent three days calling, texting, filing reports, and trying every available customer service option to get answers. Every conversation has been the same: we're told the bags will arrive within eight hours. That promise has been repeated over and over, yet more than 72 hours later we still have no luggage, no meaningful updates, and no way to track where the bags actually are. No one seems able to provide accurate information or take ownership of resolving the issue. We understand that operational problems happen. Flights get delayed, weather changes, and mistakes occur. What is much harder to accept is the complete lack of communication, accountability, and follow-through once something goes wrong. Ironically, we experienced a similar baggage issue with Southwest Airlines last year. While that situation was also frustrating, Southwest proactively communicated with us, provided accurate tracking information, and had our luggage delivered within four hours. The difference in customer service between the two airlines has been striking. United's handling of this situation has left us with very little confidence that our belongings are even being actively tracked. As parents of two minors traveling alone, the uncertainty and lack of support have added unnecessary stress to an already difficult travel experience. We expect better from a major airline. Travelers understand that mistakes happen. What matters most is how an airline responds--and in our experience, United has fallen far short.
