We had such a bad experience here, although we really wanted to like it and give business to this place as it is always empty while the other healthy / coffee/smoothie spots in Bishop are packed. Now, we know why! Everything we ordered was made soooo bad. And, it took soooo long. My power wrap had so much spinach in it, and barely any of the other veggies. Also, the hummus was a thin layer of (picture a thin layer of mustard amount) and not a nice remotely visible or generous layer of hummus! My husband's veggie sandwich was also all spinach, with one thin slice of red onion, and one teaspoon of avocado slice. Pathetic. I wish I was kidding. Our smoothies were full of the frozen fruit, and sparing on the good ingredients (dates, chia, hemp). Basically, they are overloading on the cheaper bulk items, and stingy on the good ingredients. We spent $50 and tipped 20% ...on awful food. The young woman working clearly lacked any care for her job. Sadly, though, the last time I came here I had a different employee but same results. Decent healthy option in a sea of fast food and American bbq, but quality of food was a bit of a miss. Ordered a strawberry açaí smoothie but it leaned more on the strawberry side. Got an avocado tuna wrap, which was missing 2 key ingredients, the avocado and hummus, still a good tuna wrap but not what was advertised. I also didn't speak up so that was on me, but we were on the road and didn't have time to get it remade. High opportunity if they can figure out their food better. read more

Sometimes when I am on a road trip, I find myself snacking too much. Then I get that urge to put something healthy in my body. While passing through Bishop on a road ski trip, I came across Eastside Juice and made a quick stop for a smoothie. Eastside Juice has fresh-squeezed juices, smoothies, acai bowls, wraps and salads. The store is clean and spacious and has comfortable couches in the front to sit and relax on. The person that made my drink was nice and helpful in explaining some of the menu items for me. I loved my Purple Power and glad I came across this place for that extra burst of energy that I needed for my long drive. read more

We came here when it wasn't so busy so our smoothies were served up quickly. It was my first and only time there so I don't know if my review of my smoothie reflects how they're made regularly, or if I just happened to get a really watery smoothie. I guess we live in a time where smoothies are $8~$14 now?? Obv I don't get out much for smoothies so this comes as a huge shock for me. For $9, I got the Almond Butter Delight. I like that it wasn't over-the-top sweet. The sweetness in the smoothie came from the coconut water and banana. To make this vegan, I swapped the whey protein for hemp protein. While the smoothie tasted really good, it was super watery (see video). I really like my smoothies thick and milkshake-like. Otherwise, why pay this premium for a watery smoothie someone can make at home with a non-professional-grade low power blender? Anyway, this pretty much the only smoothie place in town, so at least there's a place to get smoothies. The ingredients are clean and don't have added sugar which is a huge bonus. read more

I'm giving 4 starts because the service was great! There was only one employee and she took great care of me and my friends. The juice was pretty good, but I'm from Los Angeles so the juice bars set the bar pretty high for me. I know that sounds annoying but honestly the juice was good! It was a little pricey. A little over $15 for a large green juice, but it was delicious! We also got some apple cider vinegar shots that were refreshing! I thought the ambiance was pretty and was decorated nice. Good smoothies | unreliable We've been grabbing our morning smoothies from here during our visit to Bishop the last few days. I've been relying on this business because of my many food allergies. The smoothies are good. It's healthy, hydrating, and fresh which is perfect to start our long day of climbing. However, they don't seem to open when they say they do. It says they're open at 8am, but we waited until 8:20 to see if they were running a little late. We ended up leaving because we didn't know when they were going to open. This was the second time this happened to us. You snooze, you lose. We went to the Looney Bean instead and they made our smoothies quickly. Hispanic owned, very clean and fast service. I had a couple of the fresh juice options (juiced in front of me). Ahh I so wanted to love this place for its clean and healthy eats, but was sadly disappointed with our experience here. We stopped by to pick up breakfast and lunches for our hike at the Ancient Bristlepine Forest. We called to order pick up and the woman on the phone was not super friendly. The most disappointing part of this experience though was the Tropical Acai Bowl that I got. I don't know if I've ever been let down by an acai bowl, but the acai portion of this bowl was pretty frozen. I felt like I had to use my spoon as an ice pick to get through it. I did enjoy the coconut flakes though. For lunch we ordered the California Chicken Club Wrap, which my husband says was quite plain and "meh". I had the avocado tuna wrap, which was probably the best item from our order. However, both our wraps weren't wrapped tightly enough and kept opening up at the end. Honestly, I really like their menu offerings so I'd try them again if I were in town. But there are definitely things they can be doing to improve. read more

I have to say Meh. They were open on 4th of July so I was thrilled with that. In 100 degrees the 3 juices I got were warm. They serve them like that in Mexico but I prefer mine blended with ice. Pretty pricey. $40 plus for 3 juices. read more

I was a manager of a juice bar for 3 years, so I can be kind of picky, too and I love this place! The staff are friendly and accommodating . The juices are made fresh to order (I always have special requests). The tuna stuffed avocado was so good, I always got that so I don't know too much about the rest of the food. Not sure how this place has 4.5 stars. Waited 40 minutes for the most average açaí bowl I've ever had in my life, and a breakfast sandwich that was made wrong. Waited another 10 mins for them to remake the sandwich, which was just a plain bagel with an egg, piece of bacon, and a few pieces of shredded cheddar cheese. I could have made this better and quicker in my own kitchen. If my açaí bowl and sandwich didn't cost $25, I would maybe try this place again but the prices coupled with the ridiculous wait time is a no from me. read more

We have tried this place several times driving on the 395 & love that Bishop has this healthy option. My daughter loves stopping here because of the many choices of smoothies. We were here a couple of days ago & We tried the Macau Mango smoothie. My daughter loved it. The turkey pesto panini is also really good and like that it comes with a small salad. Don't waste your time or money coming here. All the staff are as incompetent as incompetent gets. When I arrived there was only 1 couple ahead of us in line. I stood in front of the register waiting for my order to be taken. The owner of the business and another female staff just stared at my boyfriend and I and never took our order or greeted us. After An awkward stare down we decided to leave. She then proceeded to help the woman behind us. You can tell she's never worked a day in her own business. Sad. It's a little pricey, but it's worth it. I mean, a fresh bowl of yummy, healthy fruit in the Owen's Valley? Sold! All their bowls come with an option for a pitaya or açaí base. The almond butter is really tasty without being too overpowering. During COVID, they don't allow indoor mulling around, but the outside tables are still available.
