The Gnarly Carrot - what a place! Fresh veggies and fruit! Great smoothie options! I came all the way from Oakhurst to sample their Sassy Stonefruit. The woman working the front desk is owner and established her shop in April 2016. I plan on coming back again for my root vegetables and another smoothie! Thanks so much Gnarly Carrot!

The best place to stop and stock up before your Sierra Nevada adventures! The place is extremely Covid safe and has an incredible assortment of vegetables and fruits, season-dependent, as well as snacks, grocery staples, and tons of locally produced goodies. The smoothies are amazing too, you won't regret stopping in!!

So happy there's finally some edible produce to purchase in this area. The Gnarly Carrot is adorable and clean with a little bit of everything. Sure the prices are a bit higher than you may find in the grocery store.... But organic will save you ten times over on medical costs of eating poorly.

I appreciate that this little wondrous health gem has such a diverse selection of groceries to accommodate different dietary needs. Though their produce is pricey - it's always on point. The blueberries I bought here recently were incredible. If you're looking for quality meats, coconut yogurt, low carb snacks, vegan goodies and everything in between - this is your spot. I particularly enjoy how many local products they now stock here. From fresh baked sourdough bread, to handmade desserts, to homemade teas, face sprays and elixirs - Nature's Whole Food Depot is all about showcasing local artists, bakers, and healers. Be sure to also stay tuned their FB page to learn about events that they host in their store. They spotlight everything from foraging to breath work and more. If you want to support local - Nature's Whole Food Depot is your spot. I'd recommend allotting quite a bit of time to fully explore this magical space. Trust.

It also has a smoothie station, the best Açaí bowls, and fresh squeezed orange juice. From grass fed frozen beef to farm fresh eggs, raw milk , organic produce, and a variety of loose tea leaves to toilet paper. They have the best Jazmine loose tea leaves, very aromatic and a surprise find for sure. I did spend a lot of time at the store because they had so many things to look at. The only complaint was the bread. I'm not sure when they bring in the fresh pastries and bread. I bought a loaf of sourdough and it was on the hard 3 day old side. Other than that it was a pretty solid experience. Friendly service and very knowledgeable. Not a crowded place at all. I'd def go back when I'm back in town.

Raley's supermarkets consistently offer a top-quality, expansive selection of fresh produce. They are known for sourcing fresh, seasonal items from nearby farms, which reduces shipping time and ensures peak freshness. Their strong relationships with local farmers also give those growers a reliable retail outlet while providing customers with the best seasonal offerings. The bakery is equally impressive, featuring creative fruit pies, consistently high-quality baked goods, and the irresistible aroma of items fresh from the oven. This particular location also stands out for its nice selection of Yosemite-themed gifts and souvenirs, including hats, hoodies, stickers, magnets, shot glasses, mugs, and more. Prices here are typically 15-30% lower than at local gift shops or inside the park village. The restrooms are generally well-maintained and clean, which is always appreciated on a long drive. Overall, this Raley's is my reliable one-stop shop to grab coffee, fruit, a sandwich, and take a quick restroom break before continuing to Yosemite.
