Four stars for great quick eats, super efficient and friendly staff and good milkshakes. The burgers are delicious and my husband liked the chicken sandwich. Where they lose a star is just in the hours. They close between 2-4 and close early and 7. They aren't open Sunday or Monday. In other words, double check their hours before you go. Overall definitely a place I'll be back to check more menu item for. Fries aren't my favorite so I would recommend a different side unless you like crinkle fries. The hamburger was good as always the cheeseburgers were good. The goop was delicious and the shakes are great. The only negative comment I have is they really need to change the oil they cooked their french fries in ,we ordered two orders of fries and they were so dark brown and they were not edible now I'm calling the restaurant and their phone number does not go through so I can't even let them know. We are not going to order any more food during our visit because the fries just are not the light color they should be when they are not yummy fries they usually are. I would much rather have sent you a personal note via any social media channel, but you don't seem to have a presence anywhere I can access. I like Eastside Big Tom. I enjoy the food and the staff's energy. Last Friday, I stopped in for my usual Chicken sandwich and fries. I was charged $15 for the meal. That's a lot, especially considering I could have had an equivalent meal for about five dollars less at the local Chick-fil-A. What really irritated me was the appearance of the staff member who brought the food to my car. She was wearing a black-and-white kaffiyeh, which I'm sure you know has become symbolic of the pro-Palestinian movement. While I respect individuals' right to express their views, I believe such symbolism has no place in a business transaction, especially when it could be seen as promoting a divisive political stance. Terrible food. Brought our kids here to see the dinosaur statues which they liked. We got fish and chips and chicken strips. Chicken strips were burnt and fish was from a freezer bag and a diet soda. 38$. Fries were unsalted crinkle cut, the worst fries of them all. The server was friendly but the entire time the whole team was running around frantically. Ambiance is your sitting on a dirty patio eating garbage food next to plastic dinosaurs. I used to come here frequently when I lived in Olympia about 3 years ago but haven't really been back since. It is as just as good as I remembered! My partner and I both got cheese burgers (not hungry enough for double patties on the Time!) with no pickles (pickle hating heathens unite). Technically we you could eat their food pulled over somewher, but it's all, well, goopy! That's their special sauce and it's delicious, definitely get some for dipping. Small fries are easily split but, if you must, are able to be consumed solo. Their shakes are super delicious, I tried their shake of the month, mandarin, which was a flavor I'd never tried but it's soooo good, with whole pieces of mandarin! The vanilla my partner got was also perfect! They do accept cash tips (I didn't ask about on card) and they work hard! The food was so fast (under 5mins for sure) and hot. We did find a seat under the covered area with the dinosaurs which was very clean. They do have simple bathrooms as well. Drive-thru is a pain! Parking lot is too small! I wasn't happy when I realized I paid an extra $1.05 for a measly piece of shriveled up bacon. Shake was very good but $5.00 for a medium shake?? Disappointment. Little Tom is really big. In size that is. As for flavor... Little Tom tasted like he escaped from McDonald's and jumped in the Big Tom shack. Debated whether I wanted to give this place a try after receiving 10 tater tots for $5 on my last visit. Pulled up in the outside lane in order to not stick out in traffic. Literally sat there for 9 minutes before I was even greeted. 7 cars were helped before me. When an employee finally came up to me I politely declined my order but let them know that I would not be ordering as I was ignored for several minutes.
