Check out that bacon! 3 solid pieces!
    Kendra N.

Everything here is made in house. The bagel with egg, bacon, and cheese was on point. Check out the bacon in the photos, this was a huge sandwich but just their regular order, why would you go to a chain restaurant? Also had the nitro coffee that I enjoyed. Limited options currently in their online ordering but if you go in the menu is enormous. They serve breakfast and lunch and I learned that the current owners purchased in July 2024 so if you haven't been recently, you need to stop by.

Spacious, brightly lit cafe with friendly service by people who actually live in the neighborhood. They serve much more than bagel sandwiches, including fresh juices / smoothies / açaí bowls and Warwick ice cream, which are much appreciated in the summer heat. Great place to sit for a while or grab and go. My smoothie, juice, and iced coffee were excellent. Their bagels are super fresh and they really hooked me up with the smoked salmon.

I've frequented this interesting, friendly sandwich shop during quieter times, and my sandwiches have always been well executed and tasty. Today was no exception. We selected a Reuben and a Rachel, both toasted on light rye. We ordered them to go, with a side of chips and their complimentary pickles. The spring weather was pleasant, so we grabbed a table next to the canal and shared the sandwiches. I liked both equally well and was impressed that both the corned beef and pastrami were tender and easy to eat. The sandwiches were nicely dressed, not too little and not too much. They were moist without being sloppy. The cheese was perfectly melted, and the sandwiches were warm and satisfying. The service was fast and friendly. A well-deserved 5-star review for this visit.

They close online ordering when they're really busy. One of my friends refreshed their online ordering around 11am and saw they were allowing online orders, but by the time the 6th friend tried, it had closed back up. I placed my order for one sandwich at 11:05am and the expected pick up time was 12:12. I ordered their hash-it-out, added sausage, and subbed the spicy aioli for their maple one. The bolo bun has a subtle sweetness to it, so it felt like I was eating a healthier, higher-end McGriddle. Everything was perfect. One was definitely filling enough, but I can see people getting addicted.

The seating inside is limited. When the weather is nice they also have small tables outside but those can also fill up quickly.

They were already closed when I drove by yesterday evening so I wasn't able to see what it looked like inside. But for some reason, I felt compelled to give them a visit. After all, when it's cold like this...I have a tendency to find a bakery in the morning and go very carb-heavy with a nice hot mug of brewed tea or coffee. As I walked up, I was immediately awed by the snow covered outdoor patio. It was beautifully covered in a light layer of snow (obviously unused due to the weather) with little birds all fluffed up and perched atop some of the chairs. They sure looked like little caretakers of the area and were a very cute sight! Walking through the door immediately transported me out of the elements into a very warm and comfortable zone filled with the scent of freshly baked bread and pastries and fresh coffee grounds. Both happy and awake banter as well as sleepy groans enveloped the room. You could hear the staff buzzing around moving pastries and firing up fresh brews for those in line. It's pretty awake in here compared to everything else outside. Stepping up to look at the baked options on the front counter, I was greeted by one of the friendliest voices I've heard in a while. She was so cheerful that I couldn't help but wonder if it's the coffee or tea they serve here or the potent pastries lining the display shelves. Well, whatever it is, I definitely want what she had! I settled for a dirty chai and a couple of pastries and sat on one of the high tops beside my little feathery friends staring in from outside. Each sip divine. Each bite absolutely lovely. Even chatted with an older gentleman with the coolest indigenous soft cloth coat beside me. Everyone was friendly. Everyone was kind. They sure are not the usual sleepy and grumpy breakfast spot. I'll definitely be back when here in Providence again!

The first time I came, it was a rainy weekday and this time it was a sunny weekend, so I was expecting an even larger crowd; and my prediction was correct. The line was just out the door but because of their awesome staff, the line was moving very quickly. While we waited in line, we could watch them making pastries through the glass, a couple feet in front of us. I admired that level of transparency. When we were third in line, the kindest lady asked us whether we'd be eating in or taking out and she took down our name to help us find a table when it came time. She did the same for the rest of the people in line. She also gave us some recommendations, including the cinnamon bun - apparently they're so good kids cry when they sell out. I didn't intend to order anything with my drink, but I couldn't get the cinnamon bun out of my head so I ordered it along with my iced spiced chai latte. The hen (I think it's their logo) on the aprons of the employees are super cute. We did secure a table. The tables are close together to maximize the number of people who can sit down but I didn't mind. I love their art all around, mostly of birds which I am obsessed with. I love that they have a lot of natural lighting coming through their tall windows. I also like the navy blue and white theme they have going on. The chai latte was perfect. It was the right color (a dark tan), meaning the ratio of tea and milk was good and I could taste a lot of the spices. The cinnamon bun blew my expectations away. The second my teeth made. contact with the icing, it was a magical feeling. I couldn't quite put my finger on what it tasted like, but the closest I got was dulce de leche. It is truly unlike any other cinnamon bun I have ever had. The dough is soft and there is a good amount of cinnamon. It's also $4 which is not bad. I had a bite of their canelé, which apparently requires a lot of work to make. It was very moist, with a great caramelized finish. I am super excited to try their new weekend dinner menu, but also more of their all day menu items.

It feels like her place in the best way -- warm, proud, hands-on. Pastries are legit. Super buttery, flaky enough to make a mess, clearly baked that morning. No sad, sitting-around-all-day vibes. Ordered the breakfast sandwich and that tomato jam needs to be illegal. Sweet, savory, slightly tangy -- it completely makes the sandwich. I kept trying to figure out how to recreate it at home. Not happening. Crispy chicken sandwich was properly seasoned and not dried out (why is that so hard for some places?). Fries were solid too -- crispy, not limp. And the kale salad with roasted chickpeas and chicken made me feel like I had my life together. Fresh, simple, and actually satisfying. It's one of those places you stumble into while traveling and then immediately start googling whether you can justify going back the next day.
