This was our first time at White Electric after receiving a recommendation from a friend. This cafe has a really quirky design with a lot of artwork from my childhood (80's/90's). This shop does seem a little congested, so I wouldn't recommend it for working remotely, although you could if you don't get easily distracted. I got the ice matcha latte with a pump of vanilla. The matcha was perfectly sweetened, had an earthy flavor, and was granular. My wife got the iced caramel latte beverage with brown sugar and she said it was amaaaaazing. This spot is definitely worth a try, so go ahead and GET YOU SOME! -ODL Connect with me! IG & YouTube: @AOEAT

Cute local coffee shop. They always have seasonal drinks and an array of sandwiches (both breakfast and lunch). They have a few baked goods like croissants and cinnamon rolls but the main attraction is the wide selection of speciality coffees. I got a chai which was excellent, and my friends got an iced latte and a lavender iced latte. Both lattes were excellent! The interior is really cute and there's a ton of eclectic art along one wall of art from a Binch Press/ Queer Archive Work (a cooperative print and publishing studio) that you can purchase. The interior is somewhat small, there's about about a dozen tables so it might be difficult to find a table and there's usually a small line, but it's well worth the wait!

Cute little shop that seems to be popular with the laptop crowd. Every seat inside seemed to be taken up by people typing away. Luckily there was NO ONE enjoying the beautiful weather while they enjoyed their coffee, so I had a place to sit and enjoy a late breakfast. I ordered one of their specialty drinks, a honey cinnamon latte and an everything bagel with cream cheese. The coffee was really good. The honey wasn't lost and the quality of the coffee was really good. The bagel was just ok. It was huge and the texture was good, but the flavor was all poppyseed and sesame.

What a cute little gem! The space overall is pretty small, but there are at least 10 tables where you can sit at. The staff is really sweet and the music is great! Coffee is perfectly made. The food could be better. My bagel egg and cheese was pretty dry. There was more bread than anything. It does come with an aïoli, but I didn't really enjoy that. It kind of taste like a mixture of ketchup and mayonnaise. It was quite sweet, not the Sriracha flavor I was expecting. food issues aside, this was a great experience. I was able to bring my laptop and get work done with no issues with their Wi-Fi. Parking on the street is pretty easy depending on what time you come. I would suggest coming early if you're hoping to sit inside because it does get super crowded. Definitely a great spot to get some work done if you don't mind the noise and commotion of a busy coffee shop. would recommend to anyone looking for a quick bite, some great coffee (try the white lightning), and a nice atmosphere. Access to the Wi-Fi requires a password that you can find at the checkout counter or by asking a staff member.

This place is an experience not a coffee shop! The vibe is so mellow no matter the size of the line. the service is friendly and helpful. I got the lavender latte hot always my go to. Also tried the bun bun not bad. I also got the veggie sandwich on an everything bagel amazing it was worth the wait. I will be there soon to try more of the delicious looking pastries and sandwiches options. Drop in and check it out!

Service was really great even though it was super busy. My salad cost $14 but it was huge and filling! All the veggies were fresh , crisp and had a great taste. The balsamic vinegar dressing was really good and made everything in the salad taste better ! I would definitely come back and try this place again and get some of the amazing looking coffees

This is probably the best iced hazelnut coffee I've ever had. This wasn't the kind where flavored syrup was added, this was the kind where hazelnut was part of the roast, and it was sooooo flavorable. Not sweet, and excellent just plain old black. I also loved the interior, which had a divey but homey vibe, and has old theater seats as some of their seating, which was a unique touch.

New fav coffee shop, I'm just sad it's 1,000 away from where I actually live. It's a true locals shop. I went on a Saturday morning and the line was 10 people deep the whole time I was there. People sat at the tables and worked or studied. Other read books or the newspaper and relaxed. The chai came from a mix, and it was very lightly sweetened - which was perfect in my opinion because you get to control if you add more sweetener or keep it a lighter flavor. I chose to keep it how it was, and I liked it! My friends got iced coffee and the cereal killa, which reminded him of Taro. They both liked there's as well. 10/10 recommend visiting this local spot!

The first time I came, it was a rainy weekday and this time it was a sunny weekend, so I was expecting an even larger crowd; and my prediction was correct. The line was just out the door but because of their awesome staff, the line was moving very quickly. While we waited in line, we could watch them making pastries through the glass, a couple feet in front of us. I admired that level of transparency. When we were third in line, the kindest lady asked us whether we'd be eating in or taking out and she took down our name to help us find a table when it came time. She did the same for the rest of the people in line. She also gave us some recommendations, including the cinnamon bun - apparently they're so good kids cry when they sell out. I didn't intend to order anything with my drink, but I couldn't get the cinnamon bun out of my head so I ordered it along with my iced spiced chai latte. The hen (I think it's their logo) on the aprons of the employees are super cute. We did secure a table. The tables are close together to maximize the number of people who can sit down but I didn't mind. I love their art all around, mostly of birds which I am obsessed with. I love that they have a lot of natural lighting coming through their tall windows. I also like the navy blue and white theme they have going on. The chai latte was perfect. It was the right color (a dark tan), meaning the ratio of tea and milk was good and I could taste a lot of the spices. The cinnamon bun blew my expectations away. The second my teeth made. contact with the icing, it was a magical feeling. I couldn't quite put my finger on what it tasted like, but the closest I got was dulce de leche. It is truly unlike any other cinnamon bun I have ever had. The dough is soft and there is a good amount of cinnamon. It's also $4 which is not bad. I had a bite of their canelé, which apparently requires a lot of work to make. It was very moist, with a great caramelized finish. I am super excited to try their new weekend dinner menu, but also more of their all day menu items.

Service was friendly & helpful, and the menu offers many delicious sounding options. Food is fast casual style (order at the counter, get a card - here all were west side street signs, not the usual numbered placards, food will be delivered to your table. I had the avocado shakshuka, my husband had the lox omelet (see the photo). Despite the large menu of fancy coffee options, we each had a basic iced. It was served in a glass, which was a nice touch. Self serve milk was at a station in the dining room area. Coffee was good, cold but I would have traded some coffee for a bit more ice to stay that way as I drank it slowly. Both of us were surprised when our meals were delivered: the plates were beaut! In particular his omelet was absolutely gorgeous! Now for the flavors: the omelet had a generous helping of perfect cooked eggs (not sitting in a pile of grease, as restaurant omelets frequently are). It was so fluffy that we both thought "that's way more than the advertised 3 eggs," and the lox was thickly layered whole slices nestled inside the fold. Most places chop the lox like vegetables, add it to the eggs, & make it like a veggie omelet - meh. This iteration was perfect; the lox tasted like smoked salty fish, losing none of that flavor to the omelet itself. The potatoes? Fabulous! Great spice mix, cooked until they were crispy. That was a tasty bit of marble rye toast too. My shakshuka was very good, but a bit less successful. The elements were all excellent; the avocado was actually guacamole since it was mashed & there were tomatoes and spices in the dish. The combination worked, except for the bread element. The dish as presented was really more of an avocado toast with shakshuka on top. It might have been more successful to add the avocado/guacamole as a unique base on the plate, with the tomato sauce and eggs on top with toast on the side (as is the way shakshuka is traditionally served) because halfway through the bread got really soggy & less appetizing. Still, the first few bites, while everything was still warm? So good!

It's not normally on their menu, but they'll happily make it if you ask! This one was definitely more of a sweet treat than the bold coffee flavor I usually gravitate toward, but if you love dessert-inspired coffee drinks, this is right up your alley. I'll definitely be back because that lobster avocado toast has my name written all over it.
