Coffee is... Yes. Really fun, funky and delicious seasonals, spot on regular bevvies that can accommodate many different tastes. I've tried the bagels with homemade cream cheese (yum) and a pastry or two (also yum). Haven't given that toasts or oatmeal a whirl yet but they all look great. When it came time to pick up our coffees the barista was pretty rude. He was frustrated by our questions which were pretty basic "what's what?!" We ordered four coffees and nothing was labeled. It moved at a reasonable rate, so totally doable. The queer o meter is a perfect 10. The mix of clientele lays out a level playing field for all. Most excellent. The staff is super nice and accommodating. The menu is pretty good, more than what I was expecting. It's basically various things you can put on a panini maker ha ha. Actually, what you can successfully put on a panini maker! I got the linguica egg and Swiss on an everything bagel. Again much better than I was expecting. The bagel Isn't "gourmet" but it was a nice density and flavor. It also was a good type to withstand the panini press. The egg was clearly freshly fried too, thanks for that. Precooked zapped eggs are awful. We got an Americano, an iced Samoa and a protein bowl. The Samoa was mine and very tasty. Next time I'd ask for a weeee less chocolate because it was ahead little too sweet. But that's not the fault of the place, just personal preference. By 11:45am the place had cleared out to a comfortable maneuverable space. And some guy at the bar was drinking a beer. Which brings me to the final phase of my review. They close at 5pm and open again at 6pm for lounge vibe times and a late-night menu, which I have not tried or dove into. Also Pro Tip! The croissant was buttery perfection and the right amount of airy. The latte I ordered with oat milk was brewed expertly. It's a cute cafe close to Brown University (hence the name).
