I needed to leave in the summer to finish school and needed some things placed in storage while I…read moream out of town. Due to legal proceedings that took too much of my time, I was moving stuff last minute with less time of course, as needed a company available. I was the second appointment of the day of which I was present but things couldn't get done since the storage place closes at 6 or 7 pm and I had to leave the next day. The next day I wasn't present, but a great neighbor was available to help me escort them up, oversee them pack, pay them on my behalf, and physically take the items to my storage unit of which my neighbor gave them the key and location of my unit. Fast forward to the end of summer and I opened my storage unit, grabbed my apartment keys and I see that they totally moved my items and packed it nicely in my storage unit. They also give you the option to provide your own boxes to help offset the cost or they will charge for the boxes they bring. Make sure to be prepared if you're short on time.

I called around 1230 to make sure everything was good to go. I was only then told they were running very behind schedule and would be late. He told me they were down staff. I reminded him that I did have a paino that needed moved. He reassured me that if the 2 guys couldn't move it, he'd send another guy out free of charge to make sure it got moved. I said okay, just want to make sure because we have to have this stuff moved by tonight or latest early morning Sunday. 5pm came around, had not heard anything so I called. Again told they didn't know when they were coming but they were coming. 6pm came, hadnt heard anything. I called, and was told they were still coming and that the manager would call the driver and have the driver call me with a time estimate...I informed them this is really getting stressful because my storage closes at 9pm. He assured me everything was okay and they'd come and hurry. Driver never called. Had to call back a couple times as it kept going to voice mail. When I did reach the manager again was told they were coming. Drivers finally came at 730pm. They told me because there was only 2 of them, they could not move the piano. I asked them to get the manager on the phone. The manager said he told me he could only send a third person late Sunday. I reminded them he said he would send a third person out and said nothing that it would be nearly 24 hrs later... I would have never agreed to that as I needed to be out early the next morning. When I initially called these people, I had qoutes very similar in price from many movers. I chose them out of many other options. Now, I'm desperately trying to find someone to move me in the time I need. This company totally screwed us and our family and I will ensure I go out great lengths to let people know the same could happen to them. They: Do not show up on time They do not stand by their word They do not communicate well They do not have integrity as a business. If you need movers to be on time and show up and do what was agreed upon.... do not use this company!

Sergio came our house to see what we had and explained their very reasonable pricing structure - two movers - 1 truck - all moving materials included - just $75 per hour - and the best part? The time doesn't start until they are standing at your doorstep ready to start your move! (commentary - I don't like the practice that other moving companies use of charging ME for them to come to work - so most companies charge an extra 30 minutes or an extra 60 minutes just to come) - Hasty Movers were very reasonable in this way. We scheduled a 7am start time for the move and Sergio and his helper arrived ready to go! We finished at 6pm - we had a lot of stuff to move. Nothing was broken! And Sergio especially was very handy with his tools - he disassembled and re-assembled everything - He even re-hung some of the bike hooks from one garage to the new garage - and it felt like he was a partner in the move! Damaged some of my property but nothing was broken. They were more interested in watching the clock than moving things carefully. Scrapes, scratches, bends... My stuff was literally crammed into a trailer and they tracked mud into my new home. They are nice, friendly people but I can't recommend them in good conscience. They're the reason I won't hire movers any more.
