Cynthia, I think it is funny that you edit your original post 10 days later and now are making even…read moremore completely ridiculous and false statements. It further demonstrates that Blue Oval Moving Services is an unprofessional business and that buyers should beware! No one ever told your movers to drink from a hose; there was tap water and water from the refrigerator dispenser available. The three Blue Oval representatives that (almost) moved us were grown men; I did not realize that they needed their hands held, asked if they needed water or that I was required to bake cookies for them. $2,300 was no bargain, especially considering the services were never complete! The same services should have been $1,600 to $1,800 (check www.uhaul.com) but your family business seemed nice and (Joey) promised a smooth move so I decided to go with you. What a mistake that turned out to be. A tip? Really? Blue Oval was paid $145/hr for a 3 person crew which was really like a 2 person crew. $145/hr is a four person crew rate. Separately, a 2 person crew at 15 hours is not the same as a 4 person crew at 7.5 hours. The two guys doing all the work, John and Dylan, were worn out. I do feel sorry for John and Dylan because you and Joey decided not to provide adequate resources for the move. That decision to work your son and his friend like dogs is on you and Joey. That is inhumane treatment. Don't worry, I have filed my complaint with the Better Business Bureau and if that doesn't go anywhere, the next step will be small claims court. If Blue Oval would have upheld its contract and commitment, these additional steps would be unnecessary.

Move It Already is a great moving service. From the get go, I received a very prompt response and…read moregreat quote. A phone response from Joshua was followed by a text message confirming scheduling to move a refrigerator from Menifee to Moreno Valley. On the day of the move, I was met by Joshua and Curtis. They were very professional and were prepared to move a large home refrigerator. The move out of the Menifee house to the truck was quick and easy. Unfortunately, the move to the smaller Moreno Valley house was where challenges presented themselves. The house is older and smaller and we thought going through the back slider would be more than enough space, but it was decided to go through the front door instead. Moving the smaller older refrigerator out to the garage was easy going. Curtis and Joshua disconnected water and power and moved the older fridge with ease. Then the challenge of moving the much larger refrigerator was in play. Curtis easy removed the front door and then returned to assist Joshua with getting the large Kenmore refrigerator in place to move into the home. As I returned to the kitchen from the backyard, I was surprised to see the at the refrigerator was in the kitchen. Unfortunately, the front stainless-steel doors received several dings and dents from being moved through the front door entry. I was disappointed that we didn't take steps to cushion or protect the doors during the move. My hope is to minimize the dents by using dent removal pullers from Amazon and a lot of YouTube videos. Joshua and Curtis were great, and I know they were disappointed with the dents on the doors. They worked hard to minimize any damage during the move, but we all missed protecting the doors while going through the tight front entry. If the damage didn't occur, this would be an easy 5-star review, but with the unfortunate damage, I had to drop the review to a 4-star. I absolutely recommend Move It Already. Joshua and Curtis were extremely professional and seemed to handle the movement of furniture very easily. I will use this company again the future.

This company was subcontracted by the military for our move-in service at CA. Our main complaint is…read morethat they were supposed to build up everything that was taken apart, but they did not. At one point, Armando complained to me that he didn't want to spend all day figuring out how to put together our Lovesac couch. I felt uncomfortable by the complaint directly made to me, and thought it was unprofessional to complain to the client. I didn't end up having him build the couch after all. They did put together 2 beds and our dining table, but they re-built our dining table and master bed incorrectly and we had to figure that out and re-do them. They didn't put together 6 pieces of large furniture that were broken down during the move when they initially guaranteed that he would. They didn't do a final walk through with me, which they were supposed to do, so during the hectic day, I didn't realize what was missing. Toward the end, it seemed like they were in a rush to leave. I felt very uncomfortable at the end of the day when Armando was yelling and cussing at the other workers to work faster on an extremely hot day. Overall, I think the movers did a decent job of bringing in our belongings. They worked hard and seemed to show care for our items. We fed them well and made sure they were hydrated, and they expressed gratitude. We will not use them again.
