I needed to get a dresser for my bedroom but have put it off wondering how I would get it to my place (I don't have a truck) and putting together - I bought it from Ikea. Finally determined to do this, I went on line and came across Furniture Assembly Service and got a quote for delivery and assembly from Mr. Rios. His prices were more than fair but the problem is how to pay for the item. Ikea doesn't have a holding area; I couldn't pay for it online so I would have to go down to the store and be there to pay for it as he picks it up. At least that what I thought but Mr. Rios offered to purchase the item and I would pay him after delivery! What a relief! Mr. Rios and his team were on time and quickly went to work. They brought all the pieces in and a fraction of the time it would have taken me to assemble, they were done! Clean, no mess. Payment was also easy. He will take check or you can pay with PayPal (I preferred the PayPal so I could get miles on my card). Overall great experience and I highly recommend him and his staff for any of your furniture needs whether it's just delivery or full assembly. I wish I had known it was this easy I would have done this a long time ago! If I purchase any more furniture that needs assembly I will call them for sure! read more

George was fast and very professional. He assembled our Cal King bed frame and three bar stools in less than an hour. I also asked if he could take out a nightstand and dresser out of their boxes. He said no problem and even installed all of the handles. Came promptly at 8:30am (on a Sunday!) and got straight to work. Moved all empty boxes outside. Great guy and service. Saves us time and piece of mind (our sanity!). When you don't have the patience, time nor expertise in assembly furniture, I would call George. Don't even think about going anywhere else. George Rios is your guy. He is the most affordable out there (I've checked). He has the best attitude and he does a fantastic job. And if you think you want to do it yourself, watch this guy in action and you'll realize professional assembly is the way to go. I spent $300 on four dressers, a large desk, office drawers and a few other little things. At our last house he installed 5 very large wardrobes and two sets of shelves for something like $500. Beware: George Rios was at my house this past week, 042817, assembling furniture. As it happened, our professional cook was there preparing our meals for the next week. My girlfriend was kind enough to offer him and his workmate a meal when they finished. I needed a four door wardrobe closet assembled. It is huge and has a million pieces of hardward. It weighs @300 lbs. I knew I could never put it together. I found Furniture Assembly on line and contacted George Rios. We stayed in contact until the closet arrived. Then I made an appt. with him. He was timely, professional pleasant and patient. Words can not express how truly satisfied I am with George and his assistant James. Timeliness and Punctuality: I emailed him regarding need for services and he responded within minutes. Not only did he respond quickly, he scheduled services for the following morning. He said he would arrive at 7 am and he rang my doorbell at exactly 7 am. He stated the job would take about 7 hours, he was done in roughly 8 and he was pretty close to what he stated. Customer service: George appears to be a very precise, friendly and knowledgable person. He paid very close attention to detail and would correct his work wherever he saw fit. He cleaned up any mess with the boxes or plastic wrapping and even offered to take it all to the dumpster. James was very polite and interacted well with my 5 year old son. I called George to assemble two large office desks because George gave me the best quote and had great reviews on Yelp. I was glad I made the right choice. George assembled both desks very quickly. One of the desk tops was damaged during shipping and I had to call the manufacturer to send me a replacement part. George offered to come back once the replacement part arrived and he kept his promise. It was not his fault that one of the parts was damaged, but he went an extra mile to take care of it.
