I was quoted $250 to remove a dishwasher and install a new one. For comparison, Best Buy quoted around $175 for a similar service, and in general this type of installation is typically closer to $100-$150 depending on complexity. The dishwasher itself costs $499, so the labor quote felt disproportionately high. I would strongly recommend getting multiple estimates before agreeing to any service. In my opinion, this pricing was excessive for the job. read more

George did an outstanding job assembling a 12x16 ft hard top gazebo in my backyard. He was prompt, professional, and offered a very fair price for the amount of work involved. What typically takes most installers up to three days based on my friends' experiences and what I've seen on social media. George completed in almost a single day. The only reason it wasn't fully finished the same day was because November days get dark early. He returned the next morning and wrapped up the remaining work in just two hours. The quality of his workmanship, along with his efficiency and professionalism, truly exceeded my expectations. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND George for any assembly needs and will definitely call on him again for future projects. read more

George at George Fix It is exactly the kind of professional you want working on your home. He recently installed a home security system for us, and while the project did not go as smoothly as it should have due to some unexpected challenges, George's response to those obstacles is what truly set him apart. He stayed patient, focused, and positive throughout, and approached each new issue as a problem to solve rather than a reason to quit. What impressed me most was his perseverance and work ethic. When many other handymen might have thrown in the towel or tried to upsell unnecessary "fixes," George dug in, troubleshot carefully, and saw the job through to the end. He clearly takes pride in doing things the right way, not just the easy way. Even with the extra time and effort involved, his pricing remained very reasonable and fair. Throughout the entire process, George was professional, courteous, and respectful of our home. He explained what he was doing, kept me informed of the hurdles he was encountering, and made sure that the final system was working properly before he considered the job complete. It's rare to find someone who combines skill, integrity, and genuine perseverance the way George does. I can't recommend George Fix It highly enough. I will absolutely be calling George again for future projects, and I feel confident referring him to friends, neighbors, and colleagues who need a reliable handyman who truly goes above and beyond. read more

Great service highly recommended! Reasonable pricing too. George - installed a wine refrigerator into a tight spot and made sure it was balanced. He also set up the temperature to ensure it was working. All in less than an hour. He's prepared, brought a dolly for moving it from garage to into the home. Arrived on time and was careful with my wood floors putting booties on to avoid any impacts. I would definitely hire him again for other work, he even mentioned he paints. read more

I recently hired George to install new bathroom fans, and I was impressed with the work. This was definitely not a straightforward swap; the job turned out to be much more complex than either of us initially expected, but he handled the unexpected challenges with ease. Throughout the process, he was highly responsive and maintained a professional attitude, even when the task became more than he likely bargained for. His pricing was extremely fair, especially considering the extra effort required to get everything working perfectly. If you're looking for someone reliable, skilled, and honest, I highly recommend his services! read more

I called George last minute and he gladly accommodate our needs. He was fast and very respectful. I highly recommend

Absolutely fantastic! Seriously if you are in need of a handyman, George will not disappoint you. I hired him to remove my hideous vertical blinds and put up new curtains. It may sound like a simple job, but I have really high ceilings, so it wasn't something I was really interested in doing. Even after he hung them he made sure that I was happy with them. One of my actual curtains initially was the wrong curtain (totally my fault), and when I said I would change it later, he insisted on doing it for me because he wanted me to he happy with the work. He charged a very fair price for the work. One of the reasons I selected him was because he does the work himself. No offense to some of these companies, but frankly I don't really care to give my money to some companies that are "a local business", but a lot of the time they are still contracting the work out to other guys and getting a cut off the top. So all that said, George is totally your guy. I will be hiring him again for my next job. read more

George, fixed our plumbing problem quickly and at the promised time. I would recommend him.

George is excellent all around. He doesn't have much of a footprint on yelp because he's new to California, but honestly he was so impressive all around. As a man of business myself, I grew tired of medium-sized or large construction/repair/handyman/appliance technicians etc. who would not follow up on scheduling requests, offer por quality service, charge far too much, arrive at the very end of the 4 or 5 hour time window they gave, or flat out cancel at the last minute. So, I went with the new kid on the block and he DID NOT DISAPPOINT!! he was punctual, polite, explained things very succinctly, and did an excellent, time-efficient job at a reasonable cost. I want Geoege and his business to thrive. George can "Fix It!" A well deserved 5 stars. read more
