Dave showed up right in time, did a fantastic job installing a ceiling fan and ended up having to replace a switch. He had one in his van and took care of everything. I am planning on asking him to do some more work around the house as soon as he is available. read more

Dave responded quickly to my request. He communicated great via text and Yelp messaging. Dave arrived on time. He asked pertinent questions regarding the job requested. The job completed is the installation of two shower grab bars. Dave is experienced, knowledgeable and efficient. He cleaned up all debris . We were very satisfied and will definitely use his services in the future. Thanks Dave! read more

Dave is great! We highly recommend him for anything you need help with around the house. We have had his help in the kitchen as well as building out bedroom closets. He works quick and does a very good job. Will be keeping him for future jobs. read more

I highly recommend Dave for any home repair or improvement needs! He was professional, punctual (always early), and incredibly skilled. Dave and his colleague Arnulfo remodeled our guest bathroom with great attention to detail. Tore out the subfloor, walls, redirected some plumbing, and did the electrical. The subfloor repair was a beast in itself, everything was water damaged and rotting, and he reframed the entire floor, now the most secure portion of the house :). He was easy to work with, very communicative, and has competitive pricing, what else can you ask for. Great guy overall. Thanks Dave! Look forward to working with you again. read more

Oh Dave. Where can I even begin. First, 10 stars. 100 stars. Dave is the absolute best. Dave is the nicest man and somehow knows how to do everything. He will treat your home as his own, and will never cut corners. We've hired Dave to do things as small as hang a door to as large as a whole bathroom remodel. For our bathroom, Dave and his partner Arnolfo stripped the room to the studs, and then instead of running away when they found the rot and flipper chaos underneath, took the time and repaired things right. They replaced old cast iron pipes, braced our foundation, reframed, rerouted plumbing, electrical.... You name it, they did it. Our bathroom is STUNNING. STUNNING. They executed my intricate tile demands flawlessly, had design ideas to improve our plans, they leveled our floor, which, if you know our house you would know what a huge thing that is... I can't thank them enough. Daves prices are too reasonable, his work is top notch and he's a great guy. Hire this man. Unless I need him, then me first! read more

Dave was easy to communicate with and delivered on everything he said he would. He helped me replace my doorknobs/deadbolts and re-seal, patch, and paint along with some small repairs. I'd highly recommend him if you're ever in need of a handyman! read more

I have been through over a dozen handymen over the years, and none of them come close to the expertise and precision Dave has. Dave handled multiple projects in my home and completed them efficiently & effectively. He was always on schedule and communication has always been transparent. His competitive pricing is just icing on the cake. I can't get over the end result of my mini renovations in the restrooms, along with all of the other things he did around the house. This is truly a stand-up guy, and I'm glad I found him. read more

Dave arrived promptly and got to work installing my new ceiling fan. He's a solid guy and was done in no time. Price was very reasonable. I'd definitely call him again if I have any other handyman jobs and would recommend. Thanks Dave! read more

Dave goes above and beyond! He is not only experienced and knowledgeable, he is punctual, and his attention to detail is unmatched. We requested an update on exterior light fixtures, that we knew wouldn't be easy. Dave took on the project with no hesitation, completed it in a fraction of the time and at a great price! He kept me in the loop every step of the way. Weather delays due to rain, Dave kept me updated with the forecast. Not able to be onsite, Dave text and sent picture updates. He is a pleasure to work with and I definitely recommend reaching out to him for any of your repair needs or questions! read more

I can't tell you how invaluable Dave has become. I have relied on him for two different residences, helping me in everything from hanging lights, doing electric work, building complicated furniture, plumbing, to even building a beautiful fireplace mantle from scratch and put in an electric fireplace for me. You won't find a better guy who is trustworthy, a perfectionist and expert tradesman. I hate to share him, because he is that good! read more

I contacted Dave for the 1st time, to install a magnetic screen door. He quoted a price on the phone and we set a day and time for installation. He was on time, went above and beyond by cleaning the glass before he attached the screen, was done very quickly, and charged the quoted price. Dave is the kind of guy that after talking with him, you automatically trust him. He'll be my go to for whatever else I may need to have done. read more

JUST A HEADS UP!! Going by the reviews Dave sounded like a great guy. As busy as he was, he went out of his way to find time for me and was to quickly stop by and give me a quote - which I GREATLY appreciated. It was for 8 am on a Saturday. The day of the appointment I wasn't feeling great but instead of canceling I dragged myself out of bed and made myself decent before the early appointment. HE NEVER SHOWED. No text, no email, no phone call. What is with these freelance guys?!?!? Never again. No stars if it would let me. read more

Dave is GREAT!! We needed to have a faucet replaced with a new one in our half-bath. I sent a message out to him yesterday and this morning, he responded. To our luck, he was in the neighborhood. And just like that, he showed up, removed the old faucet and installed the new one. We will definitely have him back for other projects. Can't beat his kindness, craftmanship and price! And, a Veteran too. Awesome guy. Thanks, Dave!! read more

In retrospect there were several red flags that I should have noticed. 1. During the discussion of the estimate he instructed me to get my own paint and to move the furniture myself. I told him that I had just had back surgery. I have a disability. I would not be able to move the furniture: His response? I will move it but I will charge you extra $$. I have this IN WRITING. Unprofessional. 2. When he entered my home there was an overwhelming stench of cigarettes. I don't allow anyone to smoke in my home, and I had to worry the entire time whether or not he was smoking. Unprofessional. 3. A licensed contractor came over to give me a bid on re-doing this mess. He said it would take 6-8 hours to complete. That includes moving and COVERING the furniture, prep work, taping, painting with a roller (versus a sprayer), allowing it to dry properly and moving the furniture back. The only way it could be done in 2 hours is to skip crucial steps. Furniture was NOT covered (which he admitted) and a sprayer was used, incomplete paint around outlets shows that no prep work/sloppy prep work was done. I will have to have it all re-done by a professional this time. 4. I should have read all the reviews carefully to see which ones were real and which ones were written by family or friends. One has been posted since this incident which is highly suspicious: a person who has only left ONE review and it was for changing a lightbulb? This is YELP, not Jerry Springer. I will pay attention to these red flags in the future. read more

After trying to fix a door myself with no success, I called Dave. He came out and had it fixed in no time. He was on time and very friendly. Since he was already here I asked him if he could install a bidet for me and without hesitation he said yes and got it done quickly. Total for both jobs was reasonable. I will definitely give Dave a call next time I need a handyman. Thank you Dave!!! read more

We had a side garage door that needed to be installed as well as a couple of light fixtures. It wasn't a job I could do but my wife found Dave on Yelp so we decided to contact him. He came out to give us an estimate which was very reasonable. He's a busy guy so it took several weeks for him to get to our job which was OK (being busy is a good thing). We had already bought the door and lights and we had the paint left over from when we had our house painted. He came a bit early (before 8 when he said he'd get here) which was fine. He got right to work and had the old door out and the new door roughed in within two hours. He did all the trim as well and we had him paint it for us too. He also did the lights and finished up about 3. Oh he also rekeyed the lock for our existing house keys which was nice. We are very pleased with his work and would *highly* recommend Dave. He's a nice personal guy and very easy to work with. If he had a question he would text my wife (from our garage!) instead of banging on the door. Very professional. We will absolutely call on Dave for our next handyman job! read more

I said my projects time frame was flexible. He responded he couldnt do any projects because it would be 3 months. I said to him he did not read my responses, that my time table was flexible. He responded he would never work for me because I was pretentious etc. and that he would make sure I was blacklisted from all handymen. I think that is over reacting and he could have been polite instead. read more

My wife recently had a stroke. The occupational therapist gave us a laundry list of things to do to adapt our house to her new limitations. Since we are elderly, there was a lot of it I could not do myself, such as installing grab bars and toilet seats. We had gotten bids from another handyman company, which totaled $440 dollars. This number seems really exorbitant. I sent repeated emails, texts, and phone calls trying to work something out, to no avail. At last I contacted Dave. He said that he was unavailable, except that hearing that my wife had had a stroke, he replied that he was willing to drop everything an come soon as we were ready. 2 days later, he came and did all the work in one visit, very quickly, very professionally. We were so grateful. We found out that Dave's wife had had a stroke, so he knew our need. Dave is a real human being. He has a caring heart. He takes pride in his work. He wants his customers to be happy with the work, and strives in every way to accommodate them. This is great guy who does great work. I wholeheartedly recommend him. read more

Dave was a lifesaver! I cannot express how happy we are with his work. We had another handyman basically ditch us without a word. With other projects already scheduled we really needed someone to install and reframe our garage side door. We found Dave here on Yelp and he was so quick to respond back. Dave came out the very next day (today) and immediately got to work. He was quick, kept us informed, and finished the job. He is such a nice friendly guy and we already have other projects we will be using his services and skills for. He is reasonably priced and dependable which it seems is hard to find in the handyman world. Please don't hesitate to call Dave. I've had a absolutely horrid experience with someone else i went to for services based on yelp so i was skeptical to use another service. Dave is such a WONDERFUL person. He shows up on time, easy to communicate with, reasonably priced, does great work, goes above and beyond. He is also trustworthy which is huge to me. It is so rare to find someone who has integrity, a work ethic, is responsible and is just overall a good human being. That is Dave. I can't believe that we were lucky enough to find him after a previous handyman/contractor left us with a nightmare of an unfinished job. Dave and his helper fixed everything and completed the job. It took many days. They showed up when he said they would and their work is stellar! Dave would not accept payment until the job was done because he knew that I had pre-paid the other guy who then didn't finish the job. I cannot recommend Dave more highly! If he has time to do your job, consider yourself lucky! read more

I just had Dave come out to our house and repair a door which we stopped using because simply put it was stuck and we chose to access the backyard through the family room instead. Previously I researched Yelp reviews for a sliding glass shower door that had come off it's tracks. Dave fixed the shower door quickly and charged a minimal amount. I was so impressed by his responsiveness and work ethic that I asked him to fix this door. I couldn't be more pleased! Dave responds promptly to text messages and has the consideration to text a reminder the day prior, an ETA the morning of the appointment and another text when he arrives. I can tell by watching him work that he knows his stuff. His website says no job is too small which I find refreshing. I highly recommend you contact Dave if you find yourself needing a handyman! read more

Got nothing but good things to say about Dave. Didn't know how I was gonna replace my bathroom sink faucet after stripping parts. It was at an awkward angle and turned turquoise from the calcium buildup. I may have understated the job. He said it was suppose to be the first day of his vacation, but an easy faucet replacement, ok. It turned out requiring a saw zaw, and a lot of contortion and some elbow grease. He said, "good thing I'm wiry and strong." Dave did his work pleasantly, allowed me to keep him chatting, and did not increase his estimated, and totally reasonable, price. I would highly recommend Dave for any of your projects. In fact, I already have. Thanks Dave! read more

Handyman Dave helped us frame an entryway so we could mount a barn door. He came over to scope the work, sent me quote the same day, started the work the next week. Showed up each day on time. Gave me a summary of what he was going to do, did it, and let me know what was left. Considering he did framing, drywall, sanding and texture he made every effort to minimize the mess and dust. I LOVE DAVE FOR THE HONEY DO LIST!!!!! Dave came assessed my fence and wiring situation he gave me an awesome quote on both, where others were ridiculously high in their estimate. He was pretty flexible with doing the work and was very easy to schedule a time. Dave is very respectful of your time and keeps you posted if he is running late, confirmation of job pre and post... And shows up when he says it will! His background is so well versed, you know you have the right man for the job with his many skills. That, in combination with his very reasonable rates- you can't afford not to use him! In a nutshell, Down to Earth, no BS, no charges "just to look at", price is for project so you know up front exactly what it will cost. When you call him you speak directly to him "rare these days" not some 1 800 big company message. Dave broke down job into basic nuts and bolts whereas others--expanded our simple job into a major project. Looking forward to using him again soon! read more
