Ernie has made so many improvements in our home this past week and we are very thankful we found him. He has painted rooms, installed grab bars for my elderly parents, calked our shower tiles, renewed our security doors to look brand new, repaired our gates and assembled furniture! He is very kind, professional, on time and best of all reasonable. We will definately call upon him again in the future. read more

I was looking for someone to install a gate door in my backyard and found E.R.G. Handyman Services on Yelp. What immediately stood out was the extensive photo gallery--over 600 photos showcasing his work--which gave me confidence in his experience. I called and received a response right away. He came out to look at the area, provided a quote that I felt was very fair, and we scheduled the job. He completed the entire project in one day, and I couldn't be happier with the result. The gate looks great and opens smoothly with no issues. He was professional, friendly, and kept me updated throughout the job. I was very pleased with both the workmanship and our interaction. I would absolutely use E.R.G. Handyman Services again and highly recommend him. read more

I found E.R.G. Handyman Services when I was in a bind. I had already installed a new roof, stucco, and windows and was ready to paint, but a bad fascia install stopped the entire project. I posted photos on Yelp and Ernie reached out. He was honest, knowledgeable, and didn't overpromise, he wanted to see it in person first. He met me the next morning, confirmed the issues (poor installation, bad miters, fasteners not flush, wrong nails), and clearly explained how he would fix it. He started the next day, and after three days the difference was huge. I also had an independent professional confirm that his repair method was spot-on. Ernie is responsive, professional, reasonably priced (you get what you pay for), and offers military discounts. He'll also tell you if someone else is better suited for a job, which says a lot about his integrity. I'm already hiring him for another project and would absolutely recommend him. read more

We needed a fence rebuilt to accommodate for a new trailer. Our job was too small for most of the fencing companies. Ernie responded quickly and was able to give us quote the very next day. He was communicative, friendly, and gave us a very fair price. He even suggested ways to save money on materials with various discounts. His work was impeccable and we were as flexible as we wanted things a specific way throughout the project. I highly recommend him for your next project. read more

Our baseboards needed some love in our home, we asked for them to be repainted, caulked and filled in, and Ernie was the man for the job! Very professional, fair pricing and quality work! We will definitely be working with E.R.G Handyman Services in the future when new projects arise. Genuinely a great gentleman as well! read more

I had so many things that needed repair in my son's home that we bought. I was so stressed, until I found ERG Handyman services. Ernie did an outstanding job on multiple projects. The drywall in my kitchen (before my new cabinets went in) was a butchered mess. Ernie made it look brand new, and the paint job is beautiful. Not only the kitchen, he drywalled both bathrooms and painted. I am so happy. Once our cabinets were in, Ernie mounted the new microwave with perfection as well as the gas range. I needed a new garage door that leads to the back yard. Ernie took a solid firn door and mounted it beautifully. I have never had such a perfessional and very polite handyman. His prices are unbelievable and so reasonable. If your looking for just about anything to be done to your home, I highly recommend ERG Handyman Services. Everything he has fixed, is with perfection. I will have more pictures to post soon. read more

Good service but not cheap. This is a two men running business and the guy who runs it, really knows his shit. No question about that

Great communication, prompt quote, nice owner operator! Great prices as well! Hard to go wrong with Ernie!

Ernie is an excellent handyman who delivers quality repairs that exceed expectations. I needed door repairs to fix split frames, screws that wouldn't stay anchored, and a threshold that needed secured. He and his co-worker delivered the repairs in only two hours, and my angst and frustration when using the doors are no more. You can't go wrong with Ernie and ERG Handyman Services. read more

Ernie and his team were great. They were very nice and professional. I wanted three storage racks installed in my garage and was quoted for 550. Due to some structural complications the new quote was 1000 which he explained to me. I approved the extra work but the racks were installed about 3-4 inches too far right and Ernie said they would be unable to move it back to the left. The 3-4 inch error would cause the third rack to be placed somewhere I didn't want, so I stopped the work after 2 racks and ended up paying 850. I wasn't able to stay for the entire installation because I had work so I take partial blame but prior to leaving I made my intentions clear where I would like them installed and in an L shaped configuration. I still recommend ERG but would suggest staying on site to monitor the installation to your specifications or being very clear with your requirements. read more

ERG did a great job on repairing a decaying and shattered part of the top rail on my fence door. That part held the lock to the fence door and couldn't be closed. After Ernie did his work, it was back to functioning normal again. Thank you, Ernie, for your expert service. read more

Ernie built a wooden gate and fixed two other gates on our property that were sticking and not latching. He knows what he is doing and provided fast service. He also returned to adjust one of the gates. read more

I used Ernie to do some repair work, electrical work, painting, install a canvas replacement on my Sunsetter Awning, clean my glass shower door, restoring my expensive double security doors to look like new, replace and install two outdoor security lights, and solve a problem with a shower door that would not open, if the door was shut too tight. Ernie paid attention to detail, cleaned up the worksite. Ernie worked tirelessly to get overhead lighting to work properly. If you want small jobs or big jobs to get done, and want the person to show up when you want, to show up at the scheduled time they say they will be there, then, I highly recommend you contact and contract with Ernie, with ERG Handyman Service. Thank you Ernie for the work you did for me. read more

It's a pleasure and my good fortune to work with Ernie. Starting in 2024, he helped get my rental property into good shape so I could put it back on the market after a tenant abused it and a prior handyman did a poor job. Ernie not only does lots of things--he does them well. I continue to use him for preventative maintenance, including last week for gutter repairs. Beyond his great skills and ease to do business with, Ernie thinks things through and is a true problem solver. He will make suggestions for a course of work and they are always right. I can't recommend him enough. read more

This is a long-overdue review. I needed to patch an old dryer vent on my wall after replacing my appliance with a ventless model. Ernie was highly responsive and professional. He completed the job promptly and did excellent work. I was so pleased that I already have another project in mind and will be calling him soon! read more

Great quality of work! Ernie was very professional up front and very honest about what I needed and did not need for my pedestrian fence I screwed up putting up myself. He corrected my bad job and make a miracle out of the mess I made. Erinie went as far at to work with me the price for his service and made time for me on his busy schedule. He is definitely going to be on my speed dial when I need something done from now on. If you are looking for an honest handyman and someone to give it to you how it really is, he is the person to call! No BS and honest! Unfortunately my photos won't load up to see the before and after. Sorry!!! read more

Ernest was On time. Friendly. Professional. Would highly recommend for anybody looking for handy work.

I recommend Ernie showed up on time did excellent work for a fair price. We will use his service again.

Stepped a little too hard on the ceiling drywall. 6 foot crack. Yikes. ERG did great work. Quick, careful and good guys. Thanks.

Ernie was awesome. Quick responses. Came out quickly to give me a quote. Explained my different repair options and the cost of each. He did excellent work and left the work area clean and ready to use! He did exactly what I needed to help provide a clean living environment for my kids with asthma and allergies. Definitely going straight to Ernie for anything I need in the future. read more

Ernie was the first to respond to our request for an estimate. He maintained good communication throughout the project and showed up when he said he would. He did repairs on an interior door and rebuilt the fencing around an exterior gate, as well as rebuilt the gate itself. Everything was done quickly and efficiently, and within the original estimated cost. We are very happy with the results. read more

Great work! Ernie was on time, gave me a reasonable quote, sent me a written estimate and contract, delivered the requested services (and a couple more that I added) in a timely and thorough manner. I have already called him again for a new project. So nice to find a professional and competent business that handles a variety of home issues. read more

Ernie came over and spent a good amount of time getting an understanding of what I wanted done. He listened and paid attention to me. Although I didn't use his service for other reasons, I did have a conversation with 2 of his references and both of them gave his company glowing! Take confidence that Ernie and his company will take care of you ! read more

Ernie is the best. He provided me a very on point assessment of damages my ceiling incurred from a water leak. Additionally Ernie was very punctual. He did exactly what he said he would do and when he would do it. Finally, when the job was done Ernie spent time to educate me on some preventative measures that I can take to avoid having similar problems in the future Will definitely hire him again for my other projects read more

If this is not a 5 star service, I don't know what is then. I hired this company to assemble my shed I purchased at Costco. Price for assembly was very fair and Ernie was very courteous over the phone, that is why I made my choice towards choosing his services. At first, I was thinking - why it would take for 2 people to assemble shed like that 2 days. Down the road I understood that these guys used very thorough approach. They didn't do the work just to get it done, get paid and leave. They were assembling it like they are doing it for their own use. I do appreciate, when professionals always do the job that way. Can't wait till I'll hire them for additional projects I have and I know, that I can be 100% sure that they will not going to "cut the corner" and complete the job 100%. Recommend them definitely. read more

We had Ernie repair the wood rot around our 13 exterior windows. He then resealed them and painted them to match. The cost was extremely reasonable and he was able to fit us into his schedule so that it was completed before the winter rains came. He and his helper Kenny did such a good job that we hired him again to re-screen all our window screens. Ernie was upfront with the cost of the project and his plan of action. He was always on time and let us know exactly when he would be there so we could put the dogs away. We plan to hire him again in the future! read more

Great service! Very friendly and great price. Gave us military discount too. Our sliding door is now fixed. Will contact him again for future repairs. read more

I submitted an inquiry here for a project, yelp gave me the usual recommendations that would best suit my needs. A lot of business on that list had a lot of reviews, I usually would pick the most popular or the most with positive reviews... Ernie from ERG got back to me the fastest out of all of them, something about his approach made his bid more sincere than others... so against my usual preference, I decided to go with him and his company... and when I tell you, to never, ever judge a book by its cover... Ernie is perhaps the embodiment of that... he check marked the box on everything.. from start to finish. You know how some Dad's do stuff around the house to fix things, Ernie is just like that, but with professional skills on how to do it, he was pleasant and very respectful, works fast and efficient and cleans up nice and tidy after the job is done. I had my sliding screen door and rollers replaced, and was more than satisfied with the work that was done. He did such a great job and I was so impressed with the whole experience, that I decided to utilize his services again soon for any other future projects I had in mind. Ernie establishes good connections with his clients through honest and superior quality work, that's why he has "returning regulars" and I'm proud to say I'll be one of them. So while you compare his business reviews to other business with more... maybe give him a chance instead, I'm quite sure he won't disappoint you. read more
