These guys went above and beyond. They came out to swap out some hinges on a driveway gate to meet code requirements for a pool we are building. While on site I asked if they could modify another metal security gate. They were more than happy to assist and they modified the gate off site. The City required me to remove a structurally sound 8-foot gate in the font of my home, stating that it was a code violation. Needless to say, I was frustrated, but also looked at the predicament as an opportunity to give my home a facelift. Tim McMaster came out the very next day and carefully surveyed my unique situation. He then methodically calculated the engineering required, and enthusiastically discussed lots of design options with me. Tim was a pleasure to work with. He was professional, reliable and does quality work. He works for you and not a paycheck. They showed up to work at 7am and didn't leave until 8pm on most days to get the job done. He added an additional piece under right side of the fence so our dogs wouldn't be able to get out (because they did due to the driveway slope) and even though it was an afterthought, it didn't look like it. Also, they took the initiative to fix another gate we had on our driveway that was also having alignment issues which made it hard to close. It's been working brilliantly ever since. BEWARE, would not recommend. Sales Rep and Owner (Tim and Trent) will make a great sales pitch about the quality of their work. Proof is in pudding. Attached are pictures of their actual work. Paid 50% deposit of $3,500 February 2022. Date of Install: May 28, 2022. Knowingly installed damaged fence panels, welding not complete and poor quality, multiple damaged fence areas, did not seal area they drilled into. I noticed fence was RUSTING 4 days later, on June 1, 2022. Did not complete the deck fence (missing caps). They filed a CA Preliminary Lien Notice. Owner, Tim, agreed to return my deposit and release the lien after removal of the fence. Was scheduled to have fence removed on July 7, 2022, they no-showed us. Actual removal of poorly installed fence was on July 13, 2022. To date, zero follow up or response from them to refund me and release the lien. Do yourself a favor and choose another fence company. Look at pictures to really see the lack of quality. read more

We contracted Tim to replace an iron gate on the side of our house. He was very professional, knowledgeable and courteous, and he had some good ideas. His crew was also very courteous. We wanted to install mesh at the bottom of our gate so our little dog couldn't get out and skunks and other critters couldn't get into our back yard. He gave us the name of a vendor to look at various mesh products, which was very helpful. He worked with us to incorporate our design ideas. The gate is beautiful and well-made, and now is up to our meticulous standards!! The project took quite a bit longer than we had anticipated due to scheduling issues and some hiccups along the way, such as movement of the wall the gate is attached to. Tim and his company impressed me from the beginning to the end of the install. After an initial consultation over the phone, he arrived at my house with pamphlets detailing the types of solar powered gate openers and locks available for my front gate. He walked me through what would be done, and gave me a rough, ballpark estimate before he left. Tim and his crew were able to start almost as soon as the ink dried on the contract; they were quick and efficient, and had my driveway gate back in working order within a day. The gate opener and lock were installed on the second day. They have a mobile welding station, so they were able to fabricate needed parts on-site, including the mount for the solar panels. There was a slight hiccup with the gate opener itself - one of the parts was bad, and the battery for the gate was dead by morning. Tim and his crew were back that same day to diagnose the issue, and continued to come by every day until the bad part was diagnosed and replaced. They also took the time to fabricate footers for the gate opener box, to ensure the large cover wouldn't shift off the concrete base and start rubbing on the chain. My gate looks amazing, the gate opener works perfectly, and Tim and his crew have my utmost respect for their professionalism, dedication, and attention to detail. read more

At an HOA property we manage, we needed to replace a security gate with a brand new gate, pedestrian door, and heavy duty industrial door closer, as well as adjust 2 existing side gates. We acquired several bids from many companies. Some companies never responded to bid requests, some were way out in left field with high pricing, some were months backed up and couldn't schedule us anywhere near our desired schedule. After much searching, McMaster Iron Co. provided the most fair pricing for the work requested. They provided the bid quickly and accurately, first by reviewing the scope using pictures, then by meeting me on site to verify existing conditions. Although they were very busy, which was expected, they promised to meet our desired schedule with a quick turn around of 4 - 5 weeks during their very busy season in December and January, whereas other companies we checked with were backed up by a few months and were unwilling to schedule us as fast as McMaster Iron Co. They met the schedule as promised, which was very important to our Board of Directors at this HOA property, and delivered a fantastic product. He responded to all questions and inquiries, and followed through on the job from start to finish. I met both Abraham and Tim on site, and spoke to both of them on the phone. I cannot say enough positive things about this company and Tim. We needed to 'coyote-proof' and build a dog run on the side of the house. Tim arrived promptly the scheduled day of our inspection, did a thorough walk through with us to get an idea of our project needs, and came up with valuable and appropriate suggestions for how to proceed. We had the estimate in hand later that day. He also moved on a quick timeline - we were able to get the projects completed prior to our move in date the following week. He was always extremely courteous and respectful, not to mention thorough with very quality work. We added coyote rollers to our chain link fence, galvanized steel mesh trenched at the bottom of the fence, and created a dog run on the side of our house.
