I've tried several different handyman services over the years, and the vast majority of them turned out to be pretty flaky. I encountered handyman Dan through a door lock installation from Amazon. I asked for his card after he did really high-quality work, and I've called him several times for various jobs since. Dan knows what he's doing, he's great with his tools, he returns phone calls promptly, and his rates are very reasonable. Who could ask for anything more from a handyman? This is my handyman for my home from now on. Give Dan a try you won't be disappointed! read more

Called Dan last week and I now have a new toilet. So glad to have found him at Next door app. He's easy to schedule, polite, and very flexible. He even picked up the toilet we chose at Home Depot for us. These days, it's really hard to find contractors that work for you. I'll for sure will call him again. read more

Just hired Dan's company again! This time it was to remove a sink, install a new one, install faucet, replace old broken drain system under sink, and install garbage disposal. Dan is so busy he has had to hire guys to help him out. I prepared the area, pre-purchased all the materials and supplies a head of time for the crew. Joshua, working for Dan, came out early to the appointment and got right to work. A few hours later, and everything was complete and working. Joshua kept a clean space, and cleaned up everything before leaving, and answered any questions I had This is my second time hiring then, and will again. Have lots of projects dialed up for Dan and his new crew! read more

I got ghosted. I called first to see if a small job was something he'd be interested and able to help with. He said yes. After sending him some pictures of the problem area I never heard back. I tried texting a couple more times before giving up. I wouldn't mind him turning down the job, but getting ghosted is a waste of my time. read more

Dan is an exceptional handyman who gets the job done right. He told me that he could build a house from the ground up, and I believe him. He really knows his stuff. He has impressed me time and again with his extensive knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and related property maintenance issues. And it gets better: his rates are more than reasonable in my opinion. I've seen some reviews stating that Dan has been slow to respond to requests for help. I think those Yelpers would be pleasantly surprised if they gave Dan another chance. I work with lots of handymen, and Dan is one of the few who goes the extra mile to make the customer happy. I know he juggles a lot of calls, but that's because he's great at what he does. read more

The best. Dan was awesome to work with and quick to the job. We had a small gate issue out our condo complex, and he made time to check out the issue and then had it fixed before I could even get back to the complex. It's very rare to find a handyman that takes on the small projects too! And when it comes to pricing, he is beyond fair and trustworthy. He is guy you feel good about doing business with. He even followed up to make sure it was still holding up. He is a great Yelp find!! read more

Dan has been the absolute best person I have ever hired to do home repairs! He is such a hardworking and honest person that does exceptional work! He has done carpentry work, demoed a bathroom, installed two closet systems --there is nothing he can't do! Thank you Dan for all of your help in renovating our condo and making it beautiful! read more

Handyman Dan is worth more stars than I can give! I had a problem on a Friday, and every handyman I called was too busy to come out, until I called Dan. He was there within 15 minutes, identified the problem and then fixed it in a small amount of time. While there I asked him about a different problem and within minutes he had found a solution. He's definitely going to be my go-to guy from now on! Friendly, fast, and reliable, if you're on the fence about hiring Dan, you should! read more

I've been a property manager for 20 years, so I've had a lot of experiences with handymen. I used Dan for the first time on my personal home this month. I'm doing some remodeling, so I hired him to install a sink, a couple of faucets, replace some light fixtures, repair my dishwasher, fix some drywall damage, etc. Dan is great to interact with. He's well spoken and professional. Very organized and focused, so he works fast. The problem with a lot of good handymen is that their customer service sucks, so it's a trade off-- deal with a jerk because he knows his stuff. Dan isn't like that at all. He's got a ton of experience and his work shows it, but he is also pleasantly easy to deal with. I can see why he books two weeks out. He's worth the wait. read more

Requested a quote to fix a hole in the wall and shower/ tub. They just replied that they were too busy , thanks for the quick reply.

Dan is a great guy who does an amazing job. He was hired by the company who owns our apartment building to come and fix up several different issues. He did a very thorough job fixing up our place, everything he fixed was done with precision. Let's just say Dan is keeping the profession of Handyman alive. You can tell he's a genuine guy, if I ever need to hire someone to help fix my home or anything for that matter Dan would be one of the first people I call. read more

I had such a great experience with Handyman Dan! Yelp, thank you again. We needed a spigot in the back yard to be replaced and I was getting quotes for between $100-175 to do the job. I knew that was WAY overpriced. Handyman Dan did it for $60 including parts and even tested our water pressure just to double check our pressure valve was still working well. We'll definitely be calling him again in the future! read more

Dan is someone that I instinctively went to when I had received two questionable quotes from other contractors. He was swamped with appointments but didn't hesitate to respond immediately. He let me know the things to look for and what Price range I should be able to get, even if it wasn't with him. When we found that we couldn't find the same amount of integrity and support anywhere else it was worth the wait to have Dan do our job for us. Turns out he is extremely diligent not only with assisting but in his job assignment/task. He's worth the wait if there is one, because he will do outstanding work and with fairness. He's very friendly, is a family man and a veteran. I recommend him for all of your contracting needs. read more

Do yourself a favor and just start by calling Dan! Before I found Dan, I spent all day calling other handymen who were either non-responsive, not interested, or simply rude. Dan actually answered his phone. He was able to meet with me within 24 hours even though I didn't have the biggest job in the world. He communicated what he would need to complete the job, showed up on time, and exceeded my expectations with the work done. I will absolutely be using Dan for future work on my home or rental property! read more

I called Dan this morning and he came out within 2 hours. He was leaving on vacation soon yet still made time to fit me into his schedule. He fixed everything I needed and showed me exactly what he did so I would know how to fix it in the future. Great rates as well, highly recommended, thanks Dan! read more

I have contacted this business yesterday (5/22/2018) 2 hours ago today (5/23/2018) and have not received any response. They claim response within 1 hour and 100% responses. This is not true. If they cannot keep their word, how terrible would their work be? read more

I will definitely be using Dan again for any home repairs! He was kind and honest. What I thought was going to be be an expensive garbage disposal replacement turned out to be a simple adjustment that he gladly made and even showed me how to do it myself if it ever happens again. Daniel is awesome. He is an efficient worker, does a quality job, and charges a super fair price. He fixed our sink, installed a bookshelf that spans an entire wall, earthquake-proofed and baby-proof a lot of stuff in our home, and he's a friendly guy. You don't have to worry about him showing up without a specialized tool for a particular job because he brings a trailer that is basically a mobile hardware store. read more
