This is overdue but I really wanted to share how wonderful Billy and his technician were in installing our yardistry gazebo. What I really appreciate is that when he first came and took a look at the gazebo- he noticed that the wood was defective. He could've easily installed it but was honest and forthright because he was concerned that it would degrade much faster than it should. They've assembled a bed with storage drawers and another Ikea bed for me over the past 7 years. When I buy Ikea stuff online, I don't use the assembly service Ikea partners with (Taskrabbit). I tried that once and the Taskrabbit person started assembly but wasn't able to get 1/4 way through the assembly. The Taskrabbit person also threatened me with "this job is hurting my knees" but they were working on my plush carpet. They wanted to keep payment for not finishing the job. Billy and his helper did an amazing job building our sons playhouse. We had/have lots of hiccups with out kidkraft cozy house such as missing parts, cracked parts, etc. When they first were scheduled to come out they showed up on time. They noticed the parts were cracked and told us to call the company right away. They did the inventory of all the broken pieces, took a picture of each and wrote the piece # down. This made it so easy to email and call Kidkraft with the pics and list of parts. It took them about an hour and they did not charge us. When we finally did get the pieces Billy was able to come back out right away and do the job. There was still some pieces missing and he offered to come back to put them on for us. Billy and his team (Stan, and Stan Jr) came out to my home and built a 12'x20ft Yardistry Cedar Gazebo from right out of the boxes. As soon as they got on the site they were very professional, minded my new backyard overhaul and treated all of my things with respect. I felt at easy working with them. Billy, was very aware of and pointed out all possible issues he may face in the install so we could find the right answer that worked for the job and me as a customer. Also, this big setup was built by the three of them in less than two full work days. Which was extremely impressive consoling it's size and complexity. Lastly, Billy and Stan came back out when I had called about a possible leak and fixed that as well as patched up some anchor bolts that had broken off on the install process! Fantastic service and communication. Unfortunately, I received a pretty defective gazebo from Yardistry (cracks, chips) and returned the whole unit to Costco. Thank goodness for Billy's inspection and Costco's return policy. Billy explained the problems Yardistry has been having with quality, so we went with a unit by Backyard Discovery (Home Depot), and while there were a few parts to replace, BD got them to me within two business days. This caused a few starts and stops, but I'm very glad we went another route. Billy and Stan were flexible and able to get my assembly finished the following day. The whole time they were courteous, reasonable, and *extremely* knowledgeable about gazebos and how to get the most from your investment. I strongly recommend this company! read more

I was hoping to write a better review. I hired A+ to install a gazebo for me. Here is what went well: -Overall installation was fine. It appears to be stable. -Billy was usually kind and professional and his wife was a great compliment to his work when another employee was a no-show. -When I had to purchase an extra gazebo to use for parts from Costco, they repackaged what was left with the bad parts for me to return to Costco. What didn't go so well: -The install took way more time than initially agreed upon. Some delays were due to bad parts from Costco, while others were due to staffing issues on Billy's part. -Billy promised to come back in 30 days to add sealant to prevent erosion of the wood. This was included with the service, as part of an offer to either have the sealant applied or they install lighting for you (you purchase the lighting). I chose the sealant. However, when I reached out to Billy on 3 occasions after the 30 days, he has not responded. I know he read the messages because iPhone's gives you this information. Yet, he has blatantly not followed thru on his word. This was very disappointing. If I were to do it all over again, I would pay a little more for a more professional business. I'm sure they are good with furniture and other simple installations. However, with Gazebos that may require multiple visits, I would recommend otherwise. Also, I would ask for a small percentage of the final balance to not be paid until the work is completely done. read more

Billy and his team did an amazing job building my pergola, in addition they provided excellent service and this is why: I purchased the 12'x16' Yardistry gazebo from Costco and scheduled A+ Assembly to install and put it together. They arrived promptly on time and Billy opened the first box to get started. He immediately noticed that the pieces were not the right size for a 12'x16' gazebo; he checked the label on the side and saw that a 12'x12' gazebo was delivered to me in error. Billy let me know, and his guys carried the boxes upstairs to my driveway. Fast forward a month later, after dealing with the headache that is Costco returns; Costco told me that the gazebo I had purchased was sold out (they most likely delivered my gazebo elsewhere). So I bought a Modena Pergola (12'x20') instead. Billy and his team got there early in the morning and had it assembled within a few hours. They are definitely experts with these types of builds. Once everything was assembled, he let me know that the concrete anchors and bolts provided were very large, and because my pergola went to the edge of the concrete, using them would most likely crack and break the edge of my concrete patio. So he said they could swing by tomorrow with smaller concrete screws (free of charge). He even explained how the screws work and why they would be just as secure and safer for installing on my concrete. TLDR: A+ Assembly lives up to their name. Great service, they care about providing quality work to their customers. Don't even look at other places, these guys are pros and are way more affordable than other places. read more

His price was super competitive, and he even offered an inspection service for a small down payment towards the installation cost. I highly recommend you do this since the vendors have been notorious for quality issues since COVID. I purchased 16 x 12 gazebo form Costco. Billy was very helpful on the phone giving me info on footings and preparation before the gazebo arrived. Installation day they showed up bright and early it was obvious they had a lot of experience with these. They checked the location and measured to be sure all was good. Then they went to work unpacking and staging parts. They were like a fine tuned machine knowing exactly what to do. They pre-assembling sections and started putting it all together. They finished and installed the frame in a few hours. Then they put the roof panels together for the next day final installation. Showed up bright and early the next morning and finished my beautiful new Yardisty Gazebo. I'm really happy and these guys were great! I had the good fortune of hiring this company. Billy Rojas was an absolute pleasure to work with. He was extremely helpful and answered questions I didn't even have the sense to ask. It was apparent he had a lot of experience assembling these gazebos, and he had all kinds of valuable tips along the way, from the best way to take delivery from Costco, to how to optimize the life of the gazebo once he had installed it. I didn't ask those questions, he just made a point of going beyond the call of duty. It was impressive how much he cared about us as customers. He was on point, very easy to work with, and ran his team with military precision. I know that sounds like a lot, but it was really intriguing to see them do their thing. (It sounds kind of silly reading this as I write it, because they're just putting up a gazebo, right?) Wrong. This was a 12' x 16' cedar gazebo that Came in three separate boxes, weighing over 700 pounds total. It had about 10,000 separate parts and required a specific order of assembly to get it done correctly. Seeing his team attack and dominate the task was truly impressive. I was so happy i gave him a $70 tip on top of the agreed upon fee and he looked at me and asked "are you sure?" Before he processed it. The world should have more people like this. read more

Good, and NOT so good!! During spring, about 3 months ago & before the summer rush, I had Billy (a nice guy) come by with his crew to assemble a 12' X 14' Gazebo, purchased at Costco. They did a great job of putting it together, even though (as seen in other feedback) we had to order TWO gazebo kits, to get what they said were quality, useable wood parts. That part of this story was unfortunate, but fine. However, when it came time to cement the polls in the ground to finish the job, we unfortunately found two small leaks in water pipes in my garden. That meant we'd have to fix the barely leaking pipes (only 2), then wait until the soil around the area had completely dried. The pipes were replaced within one week, then I waited another month or so, to make sure there was no wet soil left. Finally, I let Billy know the soil was DRY ENOUGH to cement the wood polls into the ground. I texted and followed up with phone calls, but NEVER got a call back. Not a squeak!! So my backyard remains a torn up MESS (hoping to add photos soon) where they'd shoveled piles of dirt, left unopened bags of concrete in clear sight, left a square wooden tool out, plus dirty buckets or jugs they'd need to complete the job. Even with a sparkling new beautiful gazebo, no one would want to sit in my backyard with such an unsightly scene!! On top of that, every night I have to cover the holes left opened, to make sure no moisture gets inside, then remove them during the day. It has been a total and complete nightmare!! If Billy would at least give me an ETA, as to when he would be able to fix this, I'd have some hope of seeing this 'spring project' finished before fall. I hope he gets things together and starts to value his customers. There won't be a next time for me... read more
