They took the furniture to repair, only repaired a few items and I had to go pick up my own damaged furniture in order to get it back. Our experience with this company was awful. Jason completly under esstimated the job and wanted to charge us for an additional truck, which we refused. They left our sofa-sectional and other furniture out in the rain, and one of their team members who showed up in the second truck reeked of alcohol. He was clearly drinking prior to showing up at our home. He (the drunk one) was argumentative and clownish. They were clumbsy with our items, packed and crammed our belongings into their trucks, pressed for time, smashed boxes, damaged our new refriderator and were late arriving to the new house with our stuff. It took them 10hrs to move a one bedroom apt. with minimal furniture from Irvine, CA to Winchester, CA. I just used Taclog for my move from CA to AZ and hope you avoid them because the experience was awful! I had Jason come to my home to get an estimate on price and cubic feet for the truck size I will need to book. We booked a date that I had to change because of issues with my home sale but settled on an available date for both the company and my closing. Two days before my move, at 9:10pm the owner Brandt Keller contacted me wanting to change my moving day to one day early because they were busy. He made promises of helping me pack what wasn't completed, sweeping out the place before leaving, setting everything up nicely at my place the following day and setting me up in a hotel with my pet for that one night because I wouldn't have a bed (or anything) left in my place. I agreed to be helpful and because I thought I would be taken care of. The hotel Brandt chose was a Travel Lodge that didn't allow pets and he asked me to sneek my dog in instead of booking a hotel that allows pets, after doing him a favor. I booked an alternate hotel after expressing I wasn't willing to sneek my dog into a hotel and he agreed. On the day of my move which was to take place between 2-4pm no one showed up. Also no one contacted me to tell me they were running late. At 4:15pm I contacted Brandt. He learned that the client before me verbally estimated the amount of their items fitting into one truck to the company, when really they needed two. These, I learned, were friends of the manager Jason who did my live estimate weeks before. So instead of the company honoring my contract they decided to leave me hanging, while they helped their friends who didn't plan ahead and weren't honest about the extent of their move. Brandt wanted to then have his "warriors" as he called his crew that did the moving, to come at 9pm to start loading the truck for me. I live in a condo complex with regulations that prevent noise after 10pm so I had to turn this idea down. The movers now had to come at 7am on a monday, load me up, all of us drive a little over 5 hrs to AZ and then unload me there. NOT what I agreed to in my original contract and NOT what I agreed to when trying to be flexible to help this company! I was forced to be up at 7am, have the truck be loaded, clean the place myself because the men moving me left to begin their drive to AZ. I needed to load up my car, get the keys for the sale to my realtor, consume a lunch and then make my way thru the desert to AZ in the dark, alone which made me uncomfortable. We arrived at my new place at 8:45pm and with now 2 movers we unloaded my belongings until 1am! So, now I was forced by this company to make noise way passed hours at my new housing. Not good! And because we were all exhausted by that time, the majority of my things were loaded into the garage, dining room table wasn't assembled, other furniture stayed wrapped for me to do later and get rid of the trash on my own, instead of having everything nicely set up as was guaranteed by Jason the manager and again by the owner Brandt. The "warriors" then had to drive back to CA (another over 5hr drive) because the company only had these two drivers still working for the company, so they could go home, shower, and begin their next client right afterwards. So they have movers working on no sleep which gets you less service in real time, promises broken and I fear injury either to these men loading heavy items tired or getting into an accident on the road from exhaustion, or possibly your property damaged as a result. Please do not give this company your money! The owner is milking the current situation of many more people moving just to line his pockets at the expense of the client and his employees. I paid close to $7k for this move and am looking for things that aren't organized in my garage and schlepping boxes around to the right locations now myself. I never agreed to move in just ONE day but always in TWO. p.s. The movers that showed up were very nice and did their best with the situation they too were put in. I do not fault them for this awful move. p.p.s. The owner also tried to tell me to get my money back from the hotel I had booked to save him another little bit. Rediculous. p.p.p.s. TacLog's unreliability made our recent move WAY more stressful than it should have been. We had 4 PODs to load from our old house, and unload at the new one. They were no-shows THREE TIMES. No notice, either - they just went dark and never showed up. We thought about switching to another company, but we were in the middle of the move, so we stuck with them despite their unreliability. (They also damaged a number of our furniture pieces.) At the end, TacLog was scheduled to help finish the job by taking a load to the dump. But like the other times, they simply didn't show up. As before, with no notice. I had to hire another company to finish the job. Days later, they emailed and said "would you like us to do the dump run?" like nothing had happened. I've moved several times before, and this company was the worst I've ever dealt with. Save yourself a lot of trouble and stress: find a different company to help with your move. Moving is so stressful & with the experience of a bad move in the past I was very nervous but this move went so well! Movers were 3 hours late, took a 3 hour break and hadn't finished packing at 1am. A two day move became 5 days, many damaged and missing items. One mover is an undocumented worker, how do they insure the move? Did I mention, they sent one guy to unload the trailer, bring beds, china cabinet ect into the home. I, 57 yo female had to help lift and move the majority of my belongings into the home. I paid for 4 movers.... I work from home, my desk and computer screens were damaged. I guess going a month isn't a concern if it isn't their income affected. Do not use this company if you want your items delivered undamaged, on time. It has been over a month without a return call about our concerns. They did bill me an additional 990.00 this week. We encountered a nightmare situation where our hired San Diego-based movers were unable to get a truck out to our place in Temecula to move our 3 BR apartment to our house in San Diego on the morning of the move. They didn't let us know until late morning and we were stuck with enormous penalties if we couldn't vacate our apartment in time. We called many different companies to try to find last minute movers, and most were packed until the 3-4 days. However, at TacLog, we spoke with Joni, who was able to find a crew, Tyler and Robert, who were willing to help us, even though it would be outside of their normal hours. Despite them having finished one move in San Diego, they drove up to Temecula, packed our entire apartment with great efficiency, then drove all the way down to San Diego and unpack. I hired another moving company to move a two bedroom apartment to a five bedroom house and Taclog said that, if they don't work out that they'd have my back. On the day of my move, the movers I hired were lazy, couldn't follow directions, when we weren't looking, they were sitting down, couldn't pack the biggest U-haul right and had to make two trips, and wore out half way through. That's when I called Taclog. Sure as their word, they had my back and sent two of their best men in 30 minutes. These men took everything over and were FAST! They were careful, confident, and had everything done in half the time it took the other moving people. I should have hired Taclog first. They performed a move for me on 5/28/2019. Start time was supposed to be noon and as you know moving is stressful and you have a lot going on. I had to be to my new home at 2 as I had deliveries and estimates for new floors coming. I was alone the day of the move I thought it would be simple since I had movers and would only be directing them where to go. There were 2 and a half hours late! I had to call my brother to come to my old house to wait there since I had to be at the new house for all the other things I had to take care of. I had hired them for a 4 hour window and I was asked to pay cash. Fine no problem I got the cash. I had my brother tell the guys get the big items... beds appliances TVs tables couches you know furniture and if they had time the boxes. They where to spend 2 hours getting what they could. I really only needed help with stuff I could not carry. At the 2 and a half hour mark I called to see where they were and they still had not got the big furniture WTF? They told me it would take about 45 more mins they didn't know they weren't supposed to get the boxes. They said they could just leave the large stuff and come now. I told them no get the large items as that was the whole point. When they got to my new hour an hour later. They did hustle to get my stuff out of there truck as I had let them know I only have the cash for the 4 hours I had hired them for and they would just have to bill me for the remaining balance. They were not happy about that I was also not happy to be charged for extra hours for things I didn't ask to be moved. After they unloaded the truck I noticed several big items where missing my couch a large table a BBQ and all our TVs they said since I didn't have the cash they chose not to bring the rest of the items and they were done. I noticed the beds they had moved were in pieces and told them I needed the beds put back together as I had no idea how they go back and they were the ones that took them apart. David the extremely rude mover told me they would not be putting them together because I didn't have enough CASH. Excuse me? So because you did your job wrong you were going to try and punish me by not only leaving the items I needed to the old house and leaving the beds in pieces. I refused to pay them any cash until the beds where put together that was ridiculous because I needed to pay with a card they were refusing to somewhat finish their job. He called me a low life and some other rude names I honestly just wanted him out of my house but I would have no clue how to put these beds back together. He got his boss on the phone and finally agreed to put them together. 20 mins later they were done. I paid $590 in cash for the 4 hours plus and extra hour but $52 I would need to pay with a card they left me a bill. I then went to look at the beds my sons bed was not completely screwed together, my electric bed looked fine and the guest room bed looked super lopsided but I was to tired to deal with it. It was already almost 8 pm. When going to sleep I found my electric bed frame was broken one side no longer works. I went in the gruestroom to see why the bed is lopsided it was missing a wheel/leg. Great work guys so glad I wasted $600 to have a stress free move. I have now paid other ppl to put my sons bed together with screws. I have to see if my bed can be fixed or if I will have to replace it. And I will have to replace the frame of the guest bed frame. I was treated BAD and my stuff was broken. I have called and emailed to resolve the issue but had no response. Maybe they will call now. If you couldn't tell already I do not recommend them. read more

We also had to unload a second truck so this meant extra time and again the owner was extremely flexible about this. The trio of movers overseen by Chris was great.
