Have eaten here a few times and have never had a bad meal. My husband loves the Mongolian beef and I have had several of the sushi plates. All were delicious and fresh tasting. We popped in for a quick and early dinner (4:40 on a Saturday) while out shopping. The waitstaff was very welcoming, friendly, and very attentive. There were plenty of seats since we were there so early, and we were seated in a big, comfortable booth by the sushi bar. I asked if they were able to make sushi rolls without the rice, which they weren't, but the sushi chef quickly suggested he could cucumber wrap my rolls instead. I know it's a strange request, and I joked I would have been ok with the chef asking me if I was out of my mind. I've never had it this way, and it was so delicious and refreshing. Even more, you could really taste how fresh the fish was. We had the cherry blossom roll and spicy tuna roll, both cucumber wrapped (see pics), and my husband had the volcano roll (he said it was good, but too much of the same flavor and very filling). Our waiter was super cute and turned our quick bite into a date night. As for the other food, we highly recommend the hot and sour soup (nice heat to it, no gloopiness), but not the boneless ribs (waaaaaaay too much sugar in the sauce). Great hibachi and sushi. My husband and I will go and just try a bunch of different sushi for a date night. I personally love the shrimp tempura sushi and the spicy tuna. I have eaten lunch here 6 times in 6 weeks with my friends. Consistently great quality food and excellent service. Portions are huge - classic American style where you get a ton of leftovers. Let me start by saying we always love coming here and have never had a complaint until now but that is because we usually sit in the bar. Tonight, there were six of us so we had a table in the dining area. Everything was great until we paid for our tab which we paid for while still having drinks to finish. There were plenty of open tables so finishing our drinks & conversation seemed like no big deal especially since we just had a $300.00 tab but we were mistaken. As soon as the waitress picked up our tabs from the table a male server stood at a table in front of ours literally staring at us, while our server kept walking back and forth saying something to him. We finally said to one another "looks like they want us to leave the table" and immediately the male looks at us and said "yup" even though one person in our party still had some of her drink, but they didn't care. The female was now at our table and stood over us until she finished her drink then had the audacity to tell us to have a good night. If I knew we would be "kicked out" of our table as soon as we paid, we would have taken our business & generous tips elsewhere. Unfortunately, we won't be back as there are plenty of other restaurants in the area that appreciate their customers' business. read more

Great food for a great price. My boyfriend and I tried this place out for the first time and we were very impressed. The crab Rangoon's are some of the best around and the prices are fairly reasonable. My one complaint would be the younger man at the register. Not the friendliest and seems very uninterested in any customer interaction. Paid with a card and he just sat the slip down and started walking off. I asked him if I needed to sign and he told me, "yes" over his shoulder as he was walking away back towards the dining room. I don't even recall him greeting me and he definitely didn't say have a nice day or anything like that. He just walked away. The exchange was very awkward and he just seemed unhappy to be bothered. Came here for habachi wasn't horrible I have had better but they were just starting up. The cook didn't have as much personality as some I have encountered and he seemed to pay more attention to the high class people sitting across from us.. I am assuming to try to get a good tip from them... Bullet point review. Wrote this months ago but forgot to post it: -Straight ahead as you enter is a glass with water bubbling. There's also a golden cat with a swinging arm. That's about the extent of decorations. No artwork, just hanging lights -Windows provide a nice light -Pretty minimal decorations -No table clothes, just wooden tables -Music in the background is like what you'd hear in an elevator -Narrow path between the booth and tables could be troublesome to larger customers -Since I wasn't driving I ordered sake, which I never had before. I was unaware it was heated. I don't like the taste of alcohol, so I wasn't crazy about it, but I wanted to try it since it was a good opportunity -Crab rangoon was good, with a shell that was sweeter and more crunchy than I typical do -Ordered sushi that had salmon and avocado wrapped in white rice and tuna. Nothing too adventurous and I liked it -After I ate my sushi the waitress asked if I wanted anymore and commented on how much I must have liked it, implying I ate it quickly. I find it's rude to comment on the speed people eat their dinner, but she's not the first waitress to do it -At the end of the meal, the waitress asked who was taking the check and reacted surprised when my companion took the check, which came across as pretty judgmental. The only asian restaurant I've heard of that will put corn in dishes that have no reason to have that. The worst chinese food around. The curry is like a mayonnaise, I do not recommend. The safest thing to get is sushi but overall everything is incredibly disappointing. It's the only chinese really in the area so they're surviving by lack of competition. I judge a Chinese food place on their veggie fried rice because so many times the restaurant just adds more onions. They had one of the best veggie fried rice I've ever had. Perfectly cooked with zucchini, asparagus, broccoli, cauliflower... Real vegetables! We also had a shrimp tempura roll and fried dumplings, both delicious. This place is fantastic! Food & service is excellent, & the environment is just lovely. I went for the first time last week for a family member's birthday & they were super at accommodating the large group without a reservation. Staff was pleasant and the Hibachi guy was a hoot. Prices are right where they should be - affordable and the quality of food is worth every penny. Some of the staff do not speak English very well, so there was this jackass at another table giving them a hard time. Wtf man, just be nice. Everyone in our group went with the Hibachi for lunch - I had the tofu and it was perfect. The rest of the clan had salmon, scallops, steak, & chicken. Everyone raved! Here, you get a choice of miso or mushroom soup - both are delicious. The Hibachi veggies were flavorful and the Saké was swingin'! Fun for a date or with a big group. We have eaten here three times and are very happy with both the service and the food which was excellent! The waitstaff is friendly, professional and entertaining. We were not at the hibachi grill but it looked like a fun experience, and is now on our bucket list. The food had a wonderful freshly prepared taste that sometimes is not present in other establishments of this kind. The vegetables had that perfect balance of crisp and tender, which is the way I like them but I'm sure you can order them the way you like them. We were with friends and the consensus was unanimous. The second time, we were there as a couple, The third time with our grandchildren, the kids loved the wings and the crab Rangoons. I loved the General Tsos chicken. Though everything was very good! Waiting 35 minutes While I watched people come in after me, sit down, and get their food. I decided to go back today and give it another shot. We went with some friends and their kids. All of the kids were completely mesmerized by the hibachi chef! He was really funny and helped incorporate the kids into the meal, tossing them food to catch in their mouths and spraying water playfully at them. We had a scorpion bowl for two which was really good and just strong enough. I had the salmon - had a nice little carmelization and great flavor. The shrimp was to die for! read more

I finally got around to trying this new Asian restaurant. The restaurant was very clean, excellent atmosphere and the service was good. I sat at the bar and had a MaiTai and an order of chicken teriyaki while I waited for my take out order. The bartender was pleasant & friendly and service was quick. The MaiTai was just OK, as I am used to a different flavor in my drink and this is the drink I usually order when I order in any Chinese/Asian restaurant. As for the teriyaki, the flavor was good but done too much as the chicken was a little too dry & stringy. For the take out food, I had ordered General Tso Chicken, Mongolian Triple Delight, Peking Dumplings, Crab Rangoons, Yang Chow Fried Rice and Egg Rolls. These are the usual dishes I may order when trying a new place. I should of just ordered for myself instead my wife too. The two main dishes (General Tso Chicken & Mongolian Triple Delight) was very tender but the flavor was very bland compared to the versions I have had in numerous other Chinese/Asian restaurants near and far. The dumplings was smaller and not as flavorful but the texture of the noodle wrap was excellent. The Peking sauce lacked the pronounced flavor of the ginger & scallion that I was used to. The crab rangoons were ok as were the egg rolls. All in all, I was somewhat disappointed with my first time here. I will wait before and if I decide to go back in hopes that the quality gets better over time, flavor wise. They have a great spot and the potential of having a good business if they adjust the flavor of dishes to the type, style or region of the dish. Of course, this is only my opinion and preference in the flavor of the dishes I ordered. The tenderness of the dishes were exceptional. The prices were reasonable! It is worth going to but they are still a new business and are trying to get into their groove. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. First of all the floor is so slippery I don't know how this place is even open with this huge safety hazard. Considering this is a hibachi restaurant we wanted to sit in hibachi for the experience. We sat down looked at the menu and the prices are outrageous for a hibachi chicken that doesn't even come with fried rice comes out to be like $18. We wanted to stay in the hibachi area but it was way way too hot to eat there. So we requested to be moved to a cooler table and was offered the dining area instead. The portions for our kitchen hibachi were way too small and for the expensive price. And the real disappointment was the yummy yum sauce was God awful! They call it some "hot mustard" sauce instead? My son put the sauce on his fried rice and didn't even touch it after because this hot mustard sauce was so bad. I know this restaurant is new and they're working out the kinks but come on and we pay $2 to even get fried rice and not even real yum yum sauce. We couldn't find the rest room door and mistakenly opened the kitchen door and observed employees picking decorative flowers out of the garbage can which I'd assume they are trying to reuse. I even witnessed the bartender using her barehands to take ice out of a martini glass. I seriously hope it wasn't for a customer! So disgusted. read more
