Fried Green Beans

We went back again last night and it was again fantastic! Our waitress Cindy was absolutely fantastic! It was Taco Tuesday and the tacos coming out of the kitchen looked fantastic. But I really wanted to try the Shrimp Skewers and they were excellent, I got one skewer fried, one skewer blackened and one skewer grilled all three varieties were delicious! My wife got the Fried Fish Sandwich and she loved it. Keep room for dessert even if you share. Get the Crème Brûlée or the Affogato both of those are fantastic. This places fulls up fast and they do accept reservations. This was our third visit here and it's always mega clean and has a great atmosphere.

We had a lovely dinner! The restaurant was very busy, but the hostess and server were pleasant and friendly. I had the East Main Salad and my husband had the Liver and Onions entree. What amazing food! The presentation was attractive and the food was flavorful. The dining room was clean and light filled.

We recently checked out East Main Kitchen on the recommendation and invite from Family. It is a bit of a hike from the Canton Area, so we were a bit nervous as to trekking out to Amish Country for something that may or may not be good. I can attest, that it was worth the Trek and wait when we got there. They move pretty fast, it isn't a large restaurant, but the care and quality they put into their food is beyond amazing. We had the pork chops and the ribeye, both of which cooked in a green egg. Both dishes were fantastic, and more than we could possibly eat in one sitting. I am very greatful for the leftovers! It is worth the trip, going early helps if you don't want to wait for 40-60 min.

Goodness gracious, this is some good food! Yeah, my party of two had to wait 30-40 minutes for a table on a Tuesday night. I would do it again without hesitation. The Cheese Curds looked too good to pass up, and the creamy horseradish ensured that they tasted the same. The fried chicken breast was honestly, seriously, some of the best that I've had in Ohio. I know that this is going to sound very weird, but it's like gourmet KFC - so tender and juicy with outstanding breading. The gravy was perfect over the chicken, and the dressing which was *undoubtedly* the best I've ever had in a restaurant. For real, I come from a family in which Soul Food/Comfort Food is the norm. Chef is killin' it! There was additional un-fried chicken in the dressing that blew my mind. I reached across the table to have several bites of my wife's Roast Beef and Mashed potatoes. It was darn good, too. The beef gravy was particularly good. We were stuffed, but we had to get a slice of chocolate espresso cake to go. The slices were large in portion just like everything else. And the whole menu is very affordable which is splendid because the food and dining space is very much elevated.

"24oz. Japanese A5 Wagyu" medium rare

Second time here... Second time for our Anniversary weekend... We love to celebrate by "getting away" to the heart of Ohio's Amish Country and spend a few nights relaxing, unwinding, and enjoying some peaceful and beautiful scenery close to home, while also having AMAZING food experiences. Last year we came for Breakfast/Brunch. This year we chose to have our dinner date here. The place is always packed - especially on a weekend... expect a wait to be seated (but you can be placed on a waitlist and notified via text when you're next in line for a table). We were sooo excited to try their dinner menu - sooo many delicious options! Started with the FRESH cheese curds and "Onion Strings" from the appetizer menu - these were both piping hot, delicious, and generous in portions! The dipping sauce was homemade, and fantastic! We did end up taking 1/2 of these home (just so we can have room for the main course)... I chose their "market cut" steak which this particular evening was either a Japanese A5 Wagyu "Filet" or "Ribeye" with 2 sides ... They had me at "Japanese A5 Wagyu", of course! I don't think I realized how BIG the "24oz. Ribeye" was actually going to be - AND to be honest, it looked more like a 32oz. WOW! Impressive! Pictures are attached - steak was perfectly marbled, juicy, delicious and flavorful. I couldn't finish it, but MORE for later! I chose their special "Soup of the day" which was a Cheesburger Soup - also amazing, and roasted potatoes with seasoning (as they were out of the baked potato) as my 2 sides. My wife had the filet, the Baked Mac & Cheese, and we both shared a side of green beans. Every was amazing. Service was so friendly, fast, and attentive! The place was packed with locals and tourists alike - how can you tell? Trust me, you can tell who is local and who isn't! This lovely gem is located in the small village of Baltic, OH. Population less than 900... Trust me, you can definitely tell who the locals/regulars are, and who the tourists (like ourselves) are! But it didn't matter, as we felt like we were right at home eating a wonderful fresh and delicious meal in a very nice and modern "Local Family Kitchen". I don't have to mention the deserts we brought home, since one look at their deserts case would probably speak enough about THAT! I recommend this wonderful place, and we will be back, for sure!

Me and my mom went here for lunch while out in Amish country today and it was a fantastic experience. The restaurant had a great aesthetic very clean and modern but still relaxed. The staff were friendly and seated us quickly and were always attentive to make sure we got refills on drinks when needed. The food was fantastic. I got a turkey, spinach and quinoa soup of the day which was very light but still very filling with great flavor. I also got the buttermilk chicken with seasoned rice and fries which were all great. The chicken was juicy and flavorful, the rice had a great kick, and the fries were nice and crispy. It was a great meal. My mom also really enjoyed her shrimp skewers and said they were amazing. We finished the meal with some chocolate croissants which were flaky and flavorful. It was an amazing meal and I'm sure we will be back in the future.

We loved eating here. The food was good, the service was great and the place its self was cute. There was for sure a wait but they have a little coffee counter with some goodies that helped.

Excellent in service cleanliness and ambience. Thank you! Will definitely be back. We had the turkey gravy coleslaw cottage cheese and it was divine.

East Main Salad

The service was impeccable. The food was delicious. I got the house salad (I think it was called the East main salad). It had blackberries, pears, feta cheese and pecans with a vinaigrette dressing. It was delicious!!! My husband got fried fish sandwich and fries. The fries were like thick potato slice but he said they were really good too.

Absolute beautiful restaurant. Reservation recommended for weekend. Food is excellent and not your typical Amish food. Lynda was great!!!

We decided to go for a nice, long drive on a gorgeous day. We wanted to eat someplace different…read morefrom the buffets in Amish country. I read the reviews for Rebecca's Bistro and am glad we decided to have lunch there. It was nice inside, but we are not fond of the smell of coffee. Since it was so nice out, we dined outside. It was clean and nicely decorated inside and out. The bathroom was well-stocked and clean. We had a lovely server, Abigail, who was attentive. I had the Turkey Berry Sandwich, side salad with their herb dressing. It was so delicious. It was different, not overly sweet (because there was grilled pineapple and strawberry jam mixed with cream cheese), Swiss cheese, and the turkey was perfectly sliced and plenty of it on their grilled 12-grain bread. Their herb salad dressing was a cross between poppy seed and Italian. It was so good, I took the rest home to use. I also ordered the peach ginger iced tea. They labeled it lightly sweetened. It was not sweet at all, which is how I like my tea (being a diabetic, it didn't raise my blood sugar at all). My husband had the Grilled Cheese and Basil Tomato Soup. The sandwich had two types of cheese (provolone and pepper jack) with cherry butter on cranberry walnut bread. Oh, Yum! The soup was the best tomato soup we have ever had! We were too full for dessert. We will make an effort to eat back here when we visit again!

Lovely spot for lunch in Amish country! Be prepared to wait if you go on a weekend...luckily there…read moreare a couple of shops nearby though where you can browse while you wait to be texted that your table is ready. They close at 3pm, took our names at 2pm, and said it would be a 45 minute wait (which it was) but we didn't feel rushed once we were seated even though it was close to closing time. Our server was extremely friendly and great! Foodwise, we ordered the veggie quiche with a side of the house tomato basil soup and the bistro burger (bacon added) with a side of their soup of the day, cheesy potato. They have a variety of specialty coffee drinks but I chose to order the lightly sweetened peach tea for something different. My husband really enjoyed his burger and said it was well seasoned. He enjoyed the potato soup also and only wished they had fries to enjoy with the burger. My tomato basil soup was tasty! The quiche needed seasoning...I had to add salt and pepper and hot sauce and it could have done without all the extra cheese sprinkled on top. It came with a slice of blueberry bread though which was nice! The peach tea was refreshing as a change but I'd go with coffee next time. All in all we'd eat there again for sure and would try one of their delectable-looking pastries next time too. Thank you for a nice lunch, Rebecca's Bistro!

This is our go to Saturday ride to Amish Country. I can't believe this is my second week in a row…read more You get there and you add your name to the list and step back, or go outside and wait. It's packed but do not get impatient, they have this down to a science and you are usually called within 20-30 minutes or less. It depends on the line. The food is tasty, very delicious. The pies... yum o'lala. Clean, everyone is kind. Oh and the Amish families eat there, so you know it has to be good. Our guest ate from the Buffett, we eat from the menu.

I would argue that this is very good down-home cooking! There was a lot of people who came at once…read morebut they have plenty of seating so there wasn't really a wait. There's a buffet or menu items to choose from. We got the buffet. Full salad bar with fresh ingredients, local cheese. Cold salads like macaroni and broccoli. The croutons were good, crunchy but not break your teeth and they had a variety of breads they used. Fresh bacon pieces. The hot foods bar had: -fried chicken (VERY good, highly recommend) -cabbage casserole (little too cheesy for me) -corn (very very sweet, interesting) -noodles (YUM!!!) -dressing (what they call stuffing, it was good) -bbq ribs (fall of the bone but I thought the sauce could be better, have more flavor) -green beans (basic, would be better with seasoning/butter) -mashed potatoes and gravy (yum!) We had good service and overall the buffet was a better deal than ordering something off the menu, especially if you wanted to try a couple different things. It was a good way to get a wide variety of items. Lemonade was very fresh
