Cheeseburger with a lot of fresh veggies and onion rings!
Melissa P.

Great food - great prices - even BETTER service! We went for lunch. Hubs had the cheeseburger and onion rings and I had the Manhattan which was a top round roast beef sandwich with brown gravy on top and mashed potatoes with the brown gravy, both dishes were very good. They serve breakfast during open hours / would love to go back again this trip! Oh wait did I mention homemade pie!??

Fantastic breakfast and great prices. The staff was also amazing! I was just passing by here on my way back to PA and am so glad I stopped in!

Stopped by Rosalie's on my road trip and had breakfast for lunch. Service was very friendly in a southern way and the food was great. I had a veggie omelet and it was delicious. How did the waitress know I like hot sauce on my eggs? Well, she offered it and I accepted. The toast was served with melted butter on it, which was nice. This will be my go to breakfast spot on my way back and forth from the cabin. Great meal, great price!

Biscuits and home fries smothered in sausage gravy.

I stopped here while traveling and was very satisfied. Home style cooking, fun interior, very sociable and friendly staff, a varied menu and reasonable prices. What more could I want? I had the SMALL biscuits and sausage gravy and it was plenty. Great coffee too. A note of caution - credit cards are not accepted (Oct 2023), but I can't blame them given processing fees. There is an ATM inside.

Mostly diner-type food, but good. Very popular with the locals. A bit crowded when busy.

I visited on a weekday afternoon just before the high school up the street let out for the day. I ordered a hazelnut Irish crème latte cold from their March special menu that rivaled any drink from nationwide coffee shops. I didn't get to check the food menu much, but it looked extensive. And the hard served ice cream that a guest got while I was there looked amazing. I enjoyed my cold latte while doing some work. If you need a place to cool down or warm up with a coffee drink and get some work done then I think this place will serve you well. The ambience was comfortable, warm, friendly, and pleasant. I think there is a side room that could host a group. If you have kids they might enjoy the game table that lines the hallway by the bathrooms. On shelves in one of the corners and at the front of the shop where you order your food and drinks are brochures or other paraphernalia highlighting local businesses and services, community efforts, and monthly campaigns that will help you or someone you know find a resource or at least help promote service to others in your heart. I look forward to stopping in again soon.

Sometimes a guy has questions, like "Why is there a log of cheese with my soup?" (even though it's awesome). But they answer in a friendly way. Restaurant = This place is busy, you will likely wait. We were quoted a 60-90 minute wait, but it ended up being well over two hours. I understand places get busy, but that's a pretty big difference in the estimate. Unfortunately, the food didn't make the wait worthwhile. The grilled cheese had a rubbery, processed-cheese texture, and the cranberry sauce inside was this strange, gelatinous, yogurt-like consistency that just wasn't appetizing. The soup was also surprisingly sweet, almost sugary. I don't know if they're trying to squeeze in too many people or if they've just lost a little focus on the details, but something felt off this time. It's disappointing because I know what they're capable of, and I've heard nothing but great things from others. I really wanted to love this visit, but it just missed the mark in several ways.

I…read morework right next door to What's Cooking and somehow didn't know it existed until my boss recommended it a couple of days ago. I decided to try it out for lunch today and can honestly say this might be my favorite restaurant in tusc county. I decided to try a lunch special-turkey, bacon wrap with a special spicy ranch and Mac and cheese. It was absolutely incredible. From the first bite, it was obvious how fresh the ingredients are. Everything was delicious, and did I mention...it was only $8.95?! The wrap was HUGE! I also got a caramel caramel cappuccino and was please with that as well. Unlike many that I've had before, the flavors were very well blended. The coffee taste wasn't overpowering, but the caramel was also subtle and only added a tad of sweetness, thus highlighting the high quality esThe service was so friendly. The atmosphere is very unique and welcoming, and it's extremely clean as well. You can tell the owners really love and take pride in what they do. I honestly can not recommend this lovely cafe enough! My only complaint is...now I have to go back to work stuffed to the gills and ready to take a nap. Update-Their Mac seriously slaps. Try it now please.

It was cute inside with some fun decor that you had to walk around and enjoy. We were here as a group having a catered lunch so again no idea what to expect. Their coffee specials looked good. We had four wrap options and two salad options to choose from. They also put out a tray of four different desserts. I chose the ham and Swiss wrap and the Italian. Both of them were surprisingly tasty. I never order wraps so I was happy to enjoy them. I had the pear salad with a balsamic dressing that was good. The desserts on the other hand were ok at best. For a place with so much hype around cupcakes I was surprised they weren't on the tray. Instead we had a choice between lemon bars, a strawberry shortcake, s'mores bar or buckeye bar. I tried both the strawberry shortcake which seemed to be a bit too dry and didn't have enough strawberry flavor and the lemon bar which my friend enjoyed but I thought was ok. Just didn't have enough lemon flavor or the lemon gooeyness that I'm used to. The staff was friendly and attentive.

But we ordered off the menu since we didn't want to stuff ourselves with food. We did order a variety of items - it all tasted good, but not a stand out. I liked that the food was fresh compared to the buffet (though they did refresh the buffet often). Some of the dishes were so fascinating like noodles over mashed potatoes. Fried chicken was okay. We were excited for the pies but it wasn't warm. Staff was super friendly! And they do take credit cards. There is a separate area for the bakery where you can order without a wait. Whether you're looking to add some color to your flower beds, spruce up your porch with beautiful hanging baskets, or simply enjoy browsing one of the nicest greenhouses in Amish Country, Yoder's Greenhouse is absolutely worth the visit.
