I was in town for a wedding and needed to order baked goods and coffee, found this place and called to see what they offered? I didn't grab her name, but she sweetly helped me with an order of coffee and a dozen pastries. Placed an order for coffee for myself and the bride (Large Iced Caramel Vanilla Latte with Oatmilk - 4 Shots w/whip cream). We came by and picked up our order, she added creamers, sugar and sent us on our way. Let me tell you that the first sip of our latte was lifechanging! Not bitter, not too sweet and so creamy with a great coffee taste! We arrived and opened the boxes only to discover heavenly pillows of carbs. I tried an almond croissant and didn't want to share. I decided that I needed all the carbs to get me through the wedding! The rest of the bridal party couldn't stop talking about the coffee and pastries, they were a huge hit! They kept asking about where we bought them. I was leaving town and had to stop by the next morning for my coffee order above and croissants for family! Visiting Temecula and had to stop at this coffee between having the Press all weekend. I got the cookie butter latte and it was a nice strong roast. I wish it had more cookie butter flavor but the coffee was on point. I asked for whipped cream to give it that extra deliciousness. Came here on a Thursday morning to get myself my morning coffee and a pastry. My drink was skipped over and the three people after me all got their drinks before me. The worker at the bar didn't even acknowledge that she made a mistake and skipped over my drink. It was the girl who was working cashier and taking care of the pastries who was nice enough to ask me if I was still waiting for my drink and made it for me. I got an iced white chocolate latte with oat milk which was good but honestly could have gotten it anywhere else. The spinach croissant was delicious though. I would have given them a 3.5 star rating but the girl who worked cashier was nice and made my drink despite her having to take orders and heat up pastries. read more

Le Coffee Shop and East Coffee truly deliver the feeling of a cozy & warm environment. The coffees are amazing and the breakfast plates at Le Coffee Shop are all to die for! I have never experienced any wrong orders - in fact, drinks have always been recommended by the baristas when i want to try something new. I live nearby so I frequent here a lot, and generally it's been ok but something happened today that has assured I will never come back. I specifically ordered two of the same iced drink. The red haired girl behind the counter seemed a little distracted as I had to repeat a part of the order. When I got my drinks, they were not iced, they were hot. When I told her this wasn't what I ordered, it was made to seem like it was my fault, and that if I wanted the CORRECT drinks, I would have to pay again for them. "The ticket doesn't say iced," she said. She was the one who entered the order and created the ticket! She stood her ground that I could not get the drinks I actually ordered because they are an independent business. Umm what? So, with my tail between my legs, I dejectedly walked back to my car. But something happened as I sat there with these two drinks that I didn't order. A fire stirred in me, and something said "this isn't right!" So I went back into the fray once more, I walked into the establishment and told the young woman "I'm sorry but this isn't right. This is not what I ordered and I would like a refund please." She then told me that the system does not allow her to do a refund. Luckily before my jaw completely hit the floor, another employee stepped in and assured me that their system COULD in fact do refunds, and he issued me one. I don't care that you're an independent business. Whether you're mom and pop or Starbucks, I refuse to do business with a place that treats the customer like the villain for no reason other than saving their own face when THEY made a mistake. Absolutely absurd and a sure front-runner for my absolute worst customer experience experience of the year. Shame on you, East Coffee! read more

The coffee itself isn't bad. There are some really fun flavors but the price is insane - if you have a dairy allergy don't bother they charge way to much for alternative milks. The customer service is the worst I have ever experienced! I honestly expect the bare minimum in regards to customer service - a smile and maybe say hi to me? Repeatedly I have been ignored when I come in to order. The last time I was there I waited almost 5 minutes to order and I was the only person in line. The two baristas were behind the register chit chatting and they didn't even acknowledge me a third barista came from the back and took my order. Saw some great reviews on Facebook and since the sun was rising from the east and I was in the area, I decided to come in. First, as you walk in, you can see this place is well-kept. The floors are clean, the tables are wiped down, and everything from the displayed items for sale were well organized. First impressions are definitely important! The service was great! The owner or manager I think was working that morning and she was friendly. She gave me plenty of time to decide on what I wanted (even though the menu was short and simple, I still couldn't make up my mind). She rang me up speedy and efficiently. The coffee I decided on was the Cafe Mocha. I normally opt for just black coffee (my simple morning fix) at other coffee places but this time I had a gut feeling East Coffee was going to make something special in terms of a specialty coffee. After I received my mocha, I was not disappointed! There was something different about their mocha. It tasted really smooth and had the right amount of sweetness without being overly sweet. It had just the right amount of espresso and chocolate essence to it, probably the best mocha I've ever had. While you wait, they have an array of puzzle and games on the tables. Seems like they want you to hang out! I tried this one puzzle where it had blocks connected to a band and I think you must make a cube out of it. Anyhow, I never got to finish it because either A) I was too slow to figure it out or B) The drink was made too fast. I think it was the latter, of course.
