Which threw my schedule off but I adjusted. She also, failed to inform me the cake wouldnt look like the picture I sent her. She did not discuss any details of what she couldn't do so I assumed she would be able to complete pretty close to what I sent. Not perfect, but close! The cake I sent(picture) had fondue but the cake I received was a basic sheet cake.. . Which she said was not over charged but cost $150! Which is probably the reason I recieved the email at 5am because a basic sheet cake only takes a few hours and my pick up changed from 9am to 11am, which I waited patiently in my car for 20mins because she needed a few minutes. Also, my 6 yr old son expressed he wanted toppers on his birthday cake(which was also in the picture I sent) but when I got the cake there was no toppers! And the first thing he said after singing happy birthday was "mom I thought I was going to get toys on my cake(toppers)? When I asked the vendor about the toppers after I picked it up she said there was not enough time. Maybe so, but she should have expressed that before taking my order. Maybe I could've ordered my own toppers. All the other vendors I checked with was less expensive but they informed me that I would have to provide my own toppers. If I would've known there would be no toppers I would've probably went with a less expensive vendor and saved $50. I did express this to the vendor and her best offer was if I order with her again I would get 12 dozen free treats. ‍ Not only that, I was for sure the cake would be good esp since I read good reviews, but I was disappointed there too, sadly. The cake did taste good but for some strange reason the top part of the cake(it was 2 layer) was hard. Kids dont care about cake as long as it is sweet but adults can tell! The bottom layer was super moist. Not sure what happened there. If you decide to go with this vendor be sure to go over every detail. The cake was nice but not what I asked for, and I feel like I was overcharged. Next cake is def coming from Sam's. I just took a L on this one.
