Still one of my favorite coffee shops. The coffee is always good here. They have some of the best seasonal drinks. We've tried a couple of the breakfast options which are also good. For the most part the service is great but every once in a while it's a miss, it's not often but it does happen like every where else. It's a cute little blue house in downtown Cedar Hill with a pull up take out area. I will say this, the one in Waxahachie is not it. We've been 3 times and all 3 times the coffee is just bad. The baristas there need some help. The CH location is the best one. read more

Really cute little place! I love the vibes, and it feels cozy and quiet, great place to study or read. The drink was okay, I got a dragon charger, and it was really REALLY sweet. My first sip was all syrup, so I stirred it (which helped a lot) but it was still very sweet for my taste. Otherwise it was good! I'm also disappointed that they don't accept cash, I didn't know that prior to coming, but it is what it is. read more

Yes! Yes! Yes! I would highly recommend this establishment! I did not know what to expect when I originally looked at the reviews. So when I pulled up to a house vs a storefront I was almost disappointed as I began to have low expectations. But I actually enjoy coffee "houses." They had plenty of parking and even spaces for curbside/pickup orders. I went inside and was impressed with the variety of drink combinations and food options. It's definitely my type of cozy coffeehouse with different seating options available inside and on the front porch. I was greeted by the staff who asked if I needed any recommendations, which I truly appreciated. Then I placed my order. I ordered the Sebastian signature latte and Ham & Cheese croissant. I also asked for caramel sauce in my latte as I assumed it wouldn't be sweet enough for me. Well, they gave me the caramel sauce separately in a cup for me to add as needed. When I got my latte, it was surprisingly perfect!! Im so glad they gave me the sauce separately. I did not need it at all! Truly one of the best lattes I've ever had. The ham & cheese was on a big croissant! Nice, buttery and flaky! I devoured it while watching the morning views outside of the window. My only wish was that they would offer a turkey version too. This place was so quaint. I was warmly welcomed and assisted in choosing my coffee since it was first time. I had an iced snickerdoodle late, very delicious with almond milk. If you want a chill coffee shop that is open late and great for getting some work done, then this is your place! Super comfy, and seating inside and outside. Now, my snickerdoodle latte was decent but not a show stopper. My mother really enjoyed her Mint Condition latte. The chocolate chip cookie I got was underwhelming and honestly disappointing. It didn't look nearly as good as the one in the case, so it would be a hard pass on the baked goods next time. I will go back and give the teas a try! I always like to point out at least one positive before any negatives so I will start with the ladies behind the counter. They were super kind, full of good energy, and very apologetic for the lack of stock in this store. The only thing besides coffee they had in stock were the breakfast tacos. Don't order them!!! Save your money and your tastebuds. We ordered bacon on ours and we received none--not even a small crumb. The tortillas were cooked too long and were like cardboard and I'm not sure they even got one egg in these tacos. Absolutely pitiful. They said someone didn't place there truck order for the right date. So I chalk this up to bad management. The facility wasn't well kept and the lawn was overgrown. We will not return. They have your usually coffee menu, speciality coffee, and teas. They also have baked goods and I've seen emporium pies for sale there too. My go to is the Cold War. This was my first time visiting the coffee shop. I walked in this morning and stated to the barista that it was my first time, to which he replied "okay". He did not suggest or recommend anything. My daughter ordered ahead so that I could by and pick up coffee and a sandwich real quick on my way to an appointment. The order was to be ready/picked up at 9:15. I arrived maybe a minute or 2 after that. And mind you, it's already been paid for. Thank you honey! When I walked in, the first response was, "We'll be with you in a minute." 3 minutes later, they asked what they could get for me. I stated I was here to pick up order #43. They have a great drive up and go coffee pick up location. This was my first visit to White Rhino Coffee Cedar Hill and I signed up for their loyalty program so i recieved a free drink this time around. Friendly staff. Clean bathrooms. The atmosphere was cute and cozy, definitely peaceful and relaxing- perfect for catching up with a friend, reading a book or studying. I recently visited the White Rhino in Cedar Hill. Since I don't care for their coffee, I got a sweet foam iced coffee. The barista who took my order, and whose name I don't know, was a young black woman with many facial piercings. After paying for the drink, and putting some sweetener in my cup, I tasted the beverage. It tasted like bad, watered down coffee with an odd tasting foam on top. I decided to take the beverage back inside to see if I could get an additional pump of syrup. When I told her the drink had little flavor and could I get an additional pump of syrup, she didn't answer me and started over to the other side of the counter leaving me to wonder if she'd heard me or if she had left me to serve myself. I soon realized she'd misunderstood what I'd asked for, as she began to make a new drink for me. I said that wasn't necessary and that I'd asked for another pump of syrup. This made her visibly frustrated and, she took one of the syrup bottles, pumped whatever was in that bottle into my cup all the while with an attitude that I was bothering her. When I went back outside where my friend was, waiting, I tasted the drink and it was still awful! At that moment, i dumped it on the ground and vowed never to go back. There were a lot of positive ways she could have chosen to handle this situation as a "server", but she chose not to. Her poor attitude towards me was unexceptable! So I've decided I will NEVER go back to that White Rhino! This woman is in much need of an attitude adjustment and serious customer service training. read more

Really enjoyed my recent visit here. We tried a hot beverage called I think..A Whole Latte Love and I also had the Maple Glazed Chicken Biscuit. The drink was perfect for me as I did not want anything too sweet so it had a nice mild and balanced profile. Thanks to the gentleman who recommended them to us. The biscuit sandwich was lacking something in my opinion. It had some really nice components, the biscuit was nice and fluffy but sturdy enough to hold the chicken breast, the chicken patty was a good healthy size, the sandwich came hot, there were pickles and a sauce but I could not really taste it. The sandwich almost felt dry - I am wondering did they forget to glaze the chicken? It was missing something...maybe more sauce or maybe a jam...I don't know. Nevertheless, I would try it again and it was filling and hit the spot. I like this spot and I love the drive-in aspect along with the easy location. Will definitely be returning and looking forward to trying more of the menu! It was about $29 bucks for two hot beverages, a Simply Orange juice, a biscuit sandwich and breakfast tacos (2). read more
