Ms. Sassy is the best! I sent her a text with an undeniably late request for a cake at 11:47pm. She texted me back and we touched base in the morning at 7:30am. She baked and decorated an AMAZING Hello Kitty cake for a complete stranger, someone she didn't know and who lives 1,000+ miles away. She fulfilled my request by 11am. She didn't have to accept my request but she did and with grace she fulfilled it immediately even though it took away from her time to rest. Yes! We had an amazing phone call! 1000% recommend Ms Sassy! Thank you for your kindness, your words of wisdom, and pero our conversation "saving a cake, to hopefully save a soul". May God bless you always, Your friend and new customer from Iowa! read more

Amazing Occasions Custom Cakes - Custom Cakes Near Me - Dallas, Texas

Amaze Occasions Cakes completely delivered for us. I ordered a custom cake for a client with a metallic gold design, which can be tricky, and it came out perfect. The finish was clean, smooth, and honestly better than I expected. The cake itself was just as good. Super moist, almost like pudding, and everyone kept going back for more. We couldn't stop talking about it. They showed up right on time, which made my life a lot easier, especially on an event day. And working with Lasherie Butler was such a pleasure. She's easy to work with, understands the vision, and just has a great energy about her. I'm really glad to have her in my network. I'll definitely be back. read more

My baby's birthday party is tom I was frustrated because I couldn't get nobody to make him a cake. Was in a bad mood, attitude wasn't so great, due to me not knowing how much a cake really was if it wasn't ordered from Walmar. She still made a way to help me worked with the pricing and gave me some good life skills advice which I really to heed too. You get more bees with honey! And I'm just so thankful for her. She was such a blessing to me! I uploaded the picture on google photos. it's the "Can't catch me im three" cake. I love It so much. Thank u mamaaaa youre an angel!!! read more

Amazing Occasions Custom Cakes - My daughter LOVES her "Diggie" cake - Custom Cakes Near Me - Dallas, Texas

The cakes from here are well decorated but the cake itself doesn't taste that great. Sam's, Publix and Sprinkles makes better cakes

Wide variety of sweets, breads and day old to select. Good prices even without my Restaurant.com coupon which made the prices fantastic. The employees were helpful and let me sample items looking for the cookies with the most butter flavor. The interior was certainly original. I'm sure it hasn't been remodeled since the 70's. read more

Amazing Occasions created a custom cake for my boss's gender reveal. My boss found a specific design she wanted to replicate from Pinterest, and lets just say this shop did not disappoint! They made sure the design was executed thoroughly and correctly. Not to mention, the cake was absolutely delicious. As an added bonus, the business owners could not be nicer. They are thoughtful, understanding, and friendly to all customers and made my boyfriend and I feel like family when we arrived for pickup. Had a fantastic experience. Did a gender reveal cake for us and it came out perfect.

Went in and taste tested cupcakes for my birthday party as a group. I end up jumping the gun and paying for the cupcakes without consulting my friends. We left and the group decided that they didn't really like the cupcakes and urged me to go back and get a refund. I called the owner immediately and explained the situation and she informed me that there was no refunds. Even though we had only left a few minutes before. The point of this review is to advise her next victim not to go here. She has 1 negative review yet I still gave her chance and considering she did nothing nor did she lose any money she could have refunded my money. She stated there was no refunds. Even though there is nothing posted regarding no refunds. Just beware. read more

I found this small business through Facebook and after reading the reviews I decided to take a chance on getting a custom made cake for my sisters baby shower event! I sat down with the owner and booked this cake A month in advanced with pictures and everything to follow and specific directions on the decor. She assured me that she could do this cake. Needless to say when I seen this cake my mouth was floored. It did not have the decor I asked for...the fondant was so sticky and gummy(the exact same consistency of wet gum) she only completed half of the top tier and she did the very top of the cake in cardboard....which we discussed an Eiffel tower made of fondant and to top that off The cake was lopsided. When I contacted her to express my disappointment in the product she was very rude and argumentive. I paid $170.00 for this cake and I asked for a PORTION of my money to be compensated back. Not the full balance because I understand that she had to use product. But she would not agree. Her excuse for this awful cake was that she did not have time....and this cake was given to her a month in advance. When I called her the day of to check the status of the cake at 10a.m...she notified me that she was about to start decorating it. We discussed a 2pm pick up time! My sister was so disappointed and it was very embarrassing to her and to myself. The guest literally picked over the cake that was served and of a 3 tier cake less than half was served! I would never recommend this business to any friend or colleagues. Despite the awful cake she was very warm and friendly to begin with but after expressing my concern all the customer service went out the window. read more
