Customer service: when calling to place an order, the young lady who answers is always so sweet. They'll give you a number to text the idea of the cake you want, but you'll need to definitely call back in to set your order. Cake, cake, cake, cake, cake, cake: the cakes are absolutely delicious and not to mention very appealing to the eye. They do literally whatever you want. Chic Bakery made our four-tier wedding cake, and it was beautiful and delicious - and way more affordable than competitors in Dallas! They have a variety of cake flavors, and they were all so good it was difficult to choose. We chose two layers of vanilla, a layer of orange (yes, orange, and it was gooooood) and a layer of lemon. We showed them a photo from Pinterest, and they made it look exactly like the cake in the pic. Here is a business that knows how to plan for someone like me who doesn't Plan ahead. I was worried because that area doesn't have parking but the bakery has ample room. I came across this place when I was looking for another bakery I was referred here by another bakery that didn't have the time to full fill my order. So you know they're good when another bakery refers you. The first time I went I was in of a dozen specialty cupcakes to be made. Doc Mcstuffins cupcakes to be exact. I went on Pinterest and texted them what I needed and they said immediately they could make it happen. They made strawberry cupcakes too!! I was super happy and the children i brought it to loved by. The most recent time I ordered from them was for my aunts 60th surprise birthday party. I had a cake make and cupcakes. when I told them my budget they were super helpful with making sure to stay in or below the price point I mentioned. A week ago my father spotted Chic bakery, he walked in and bought some samples that they have in their fridge. We thought it was the best tres leches we had had in a long time. So a few days before xmas we decided we wanted to order that same tres leches cake as in the samples for our xmas party. So we ordered it... and when we got it! it was not the same thing, they didn't put strawberry filling they put strawberry pink frosting in the middle instead, we had specifically told her we wanted the filling like the sample had with the strawberry jelly... soooo dissaponting even our guests said it was too sweet. It was all sugar and bread no fruit, and was not moist enough. & the chantilli was different and not as creamy as the sample. Expected better.. sad cake.. I hate when cake shops can't take simple customer orders. Worst part is we asked for something they know how to make and they gave us something we did not ask for.. horrible experience. read more
