Dallas mavs Grooms cake
Cat N.

I had their cakes at my cousins wedding and omg it was sooo goood! The grooms mavs cake was a chocolate mousse cake. It was soooo goood! It was moist, not too sweet, and fluffy! The vanilla cake from the brides cake I didn't get to have but heard it was also good. Well done!

It was a hit! Groom and Bride combo!

How have I not reviewed Panini yet! I grew up getting my favorite Chocolate Mousse cake slices here as a kid! It is still my favorite cake of all time to this day! We used them for our wedding cake and did a tiered mousse cake of different flavors on each level (see the pics). The cake is perfectly moist with the ideal amount of sugary icing and fluffy mousse in the middle. No one else in DFW makes cakes like these! You can't go wrong for a party or wedding! I should be their spokesperson! Maybe I could get unlimited cake! haha! Sigh

White chocolate mousse cake for an engagement

Bought a cake for my engagement. Was arguably the best cake I've ever had and everyone who had a taste couldn't stop raving about it. The staff was so kind and supportive of me asking the big question, and they delivered in every way!

Had a great experience with the staff, placed our order on a Saturday and picked up the following Friday. The cake was perfect and beautiful, definitely the star of the birthday dinner.

Chocolate cake. This cake stayed moist and delicious for days.. and yes.. the five of us finished it with ease lol

I'm behind on reviews but since my birthday is coming up and I decided to write a review for my favorite bakery in DFW. I simply love Panini Bakery. It smells like butter when you walk in and the store is filled with beautiful wedding cake models. I knew this was the place when I walked in for a tasting. I've had plenty of wedding cakes before and they're usually an afterthought when it comes to flavor. Sure they look nice but they're rarely delicious. You'll get a different experience with Panini because not only will the cake be picture perfect-it will taste amazing. During the cake tasting - we devoured all 6 generous slices of cake. No regrets. Our 6 tiered wedding cake was inhaled by our guest. People were confessing to us about how they came back for more. We were supposed to have extra cake leftover lol that was not the case. I've also had a birthday cake from here and it was chocolate heaven. Thank you so much Panini for existing.

My wife LOVED everything about this cake. So did all of our guests.

Wow, our wedding and groom cake from Panini was amazing. Our guests absolutely loved everything. They were beautiful, flavorful, and so incredibly delicious. Perfect flavor, moist, and not too sweet--just right. Everyone at Panini was amazing and so helpful too!

Society Bakery has been my go-to for cakes the past 5 years.....until today. A co-worker's favorite cake is strawberry short cake....so I searched yelp for strawberry cakes and up popped Panini Bakery. Given the reviews, I felt ok about trying them out.....and am soooo glad we did! We got a 10" Strawberry Cream cake....I called on Friday for a cake a week out and it was no problem! Usually you need 2+ weeks notice on cakes from Society...just a tip. The cake was exactly as requested...it was FRESH, MOIST(I know that word creeps some ppl out but it WAS), and pretty! The white cake was heavenly and there were layers of fresh cream and FRESH strawberries....I know you'd think...well who could mess up white cake with cream and strawberries...but we had one from Central Market in June and it was blech. Panini is worth it for a $60 birthday cake, it just is. Do it. And save me a piece for the referral.

Yum :)

I got the White Chocolate Raspberry cake for my birthday and oh my, It was amazing! Everyone that tasted it said it was the best cake they'd ever eaten and I have to agree. The service was great as well. I definitely can't wait to have one of their cakes again.

I've eaten a LOT of cake in my life, but there are only two cakes I've had that land in my nothing compares list. One is my quinceañera cake, the other is the white chocolate raspberry cake from Panini. My mom introduced us to Panini's signature white chocolate cake with raspberries made with vanilla cake, the most amazing vanilla butter cream, a light and mouth watering white chocolate cream with raspberries in the middle and white chocolate shavings on top, and my family fell in love. I picked up the cake for my folks anniversary and they did a lovely job and I swear the cake was the tastiest yet. I'd called the day before to order one, and it was easy peasy to pick up during lunch. I do want to try their chocolate cakes next, but their signature cake is just so damn delicious!!

Our wedding cake by Panini bakery. The cake stand of Bawls Energy Drink was made by myself with the help of Panini.

I started with the croque monsieur, and it was exactly what I was craving. The cheese was perfectly melted and bubbly, and that hint of dill on top really pulled it all together. I also grabbed a slice of the lorraine quiche, which was incredibly savory with a crust that was so buttery and flaky it practically melted in my mouth. For dessert, the chocolate kouign-amann was a total standout, super crispy on the outside with those rich, sweet layers inside. I paired it with an iced chai latte, which was perfectly spiced and not overly sweet. They have a small outdoor seating section that is perfect for catching some fresh air while you eat. The whole experience felt so authentic and high-quality. I am already looking forward to my next visit!

On the weekends, the line will move fast so, don't be afraid to wait.

Staying open late worked in my favor as I got through DJing a show. The establishment is modeled like it's someone's house who just wanted to turn it into a food spot. Very welcoming, the lady at the register who took my order was nice. While every selection made it hard for me to choose from, I ended up going with the Cloud 9 - butterscotch, caramel, brown sugar meringue. I took the slice to go as I was heading back to Tulsa. It was so good. Every bite. I couldn't get enough. The combination of those 3 components went well together. As I was looking up the menu on their website, I noticed that none of the selections were the same from when I had my slice. That indicated to me that they have a rotating menu. That's going to make me a returning customer because I can have something new to look forward to.

The blueberry scone was fresh and although I only pinched a small bite from it, I could tell it was moister and more flavorful than most, well done! I wanted to try the Chocolate Kouign Amann, since I had no idea what it was, lol. It was packed with chocolate, but it wasn't fresh, the wonderful flaky pastry was rock hard. And now the quiche - I wanted SO much to love it - it was bursting with ham and the pastry looked lovely. But the pastry was SO hard that I couldn't even cut into it! I wanted to eat it with a fork but had to pick it up to bite the top part, since it was like wood. And the entire bottom of the quiche was drenched - when I bit into a bite from the lower part, all this water came squirting out - every bite that touched the bottom part of it was squirting water! I was so grossed out, why was this happening? Unlike my fave place La Madeleine, they only send you a slice, so sadly that was my one and only experience with Village Bakery quiche. Really wish it would have been better, the other reviews showed promise.

There was a huge assortment of danish, butterfly cookies, and a variety of other baked goods. We debated about which ones to buy and picked out our favorites. They were delicious and freshly made. Service was great and they were very patient as we tried to make up our mind on which pastries we were going to buy. Prices were average for what you would expect for a homemade pastry shop. The shop had a comfy feel with cute tables and posters on the wall. We would definitely go back for more baked goods.Yum!
