Did a search and decided to go with the Cup Cake Experience and very glad I went with them. Cupcakes arrived on time and I was totally impressed with the presentation. You could smell the freshness once taking them out the box. They look go good you don't want to devour them but we did. I ordered the pineapple and chocolate cupcakes and was totally satisfied. I was in need of a treat to be delivered to my bff's hands for her birthday. And bcs I am in California, I couldn't just risk a whatever gift. Thanks to tiktok videos and YELP, I found TCE. I was super impressed with the designs of the cupcakes. I decided on a 1/2 dozen with people, pink and green. Ordering online was easy and when I called the baker with a request/question for an extra cake flavor, she was also accommodating. The only thing that I messed up on was not including my name :( (on the as to who it was from) when it was delivered, I got a tracking message notification. So a couple hours later I texted her if she had received a delivery she immediately called me and thanked me! I asked for pics. When she sent the pics she said: Gorgeous!!! Oh my goodness so delicious, even the frosting! I'm picky about the frosting but this one was not to oily, not too heavy. read more

She accommodated a very last min request and put together a beautiful monogram set of cupcakes and delivered them for a family member's birthday. Even though we weren't able to celebrate in person, we were so happy that Ginger could help create this beautiful memory The ordering process is very straightforward. I took my chance and boy Am I glad I did ! I was in charge of ordering my Operations managers birthday cake. I'm new to Texas so I don't know anybody who bakes and did not want to buy a store made cake. So I went on yelp and found Ginger. I sent her a message on her Ig page and she accommodated me on a 1 day (last minute )request. Very professional and She delivered. Paying was safe because it was done on line. (I looked at some of her kitchen pics) because you just never know now a days and she passed the test there too Cupcakes were moist, and beautiful! My boss and staff were happy! Everything about this place is wonderful. The owner is great and is really creative with her designs. I had the pleasure of trying the Red Wine Cupcakes and the Hennessy Cupcakes. The Hennessy Cupcakes even come with a small container of Hennessy at the top of the cupcake. The owner even brought this cutesy display to serve the cupcakes. My friends and I threw our friend a virtual baby shower. I will def order from her again! She is professional, timely, courteous and good at what she does! She is very reasonable with her prices compared to most! This is probably my favorite cupcake place in Dallas. I haven't tried them all but, after ordering from her twice...I don't need to. Her cupcakes are moist and cute. I've had two different versions of her cupcakes: 1. Infused cupcakes - These are amazing. I ordered just a basic cupcake with the alcohol in them and they did not disappoint. I ate 4 of them (the event was canceled so I had to eat them all ‍). My tolerance is high so I wasn't necessarily influenced by the alcohol but I'm sure someone else would be. 2. Decorative cupcakes- After browsing her Instagram page, I ran across an AKA inspired post for cupcakes. I didn't care how she designed it. She did a great job with these! I found Ginger on Instagram and order a drip cake for my bday on Saturday. The cake was beautiful and taste delicious,but by the end of the night the cake had topple over. I was a little disappointed that my cake didn't last the night. Overall, it was good cake but the downsized it didn't have any dowels to support the two layer cake. read more

Portions were generous across the board, which is always a win because leftovers are basically tomorrow's gift to yourself. The spinach artichoke dip surprised me. If you're someone who genuinely loves spinach, you'll probably be very happy because spinach definitely got top billing in that relationship. I ordered a red sangria that never quite found its way to the table, but honestly, by the end of the meal I was so full that my stomach had already voted "maybe next time." One of my favorite parts of the evening was learning more about San Martín's history. Knowing it began in Guatemala and is especially known for its bakery and breakfast immediately put breakfast on my "I need to come back for this" list. I think the they were ready a while back, but our waitress just didn't get them out to us on time. As a result, the dumplings were not hot. It really degraded the experience of the dish. We also had the orange chicken and Sichuan DanDan noodles. The flavors in the chicken were good, but the ends of the chicken were kind of tough, and the noodles seems kind of slapped together with not enough sauce. There was barely any sesame paste. The last time I had these noodles, there were perfect, so it was really disappointing to have this batch be so off. The waitress was pretty inattentive throughout our meal later on, a manager checked in on us, and we had to ask her for the check since our waitress was no where to be found. Overall, we left with a bad impression of this meal. Knowing the Uptown Dumpling is capable of so much more is just a tough pill to swallow. We really loved our last experience here, but this most recent visit was a disaster. It may be a while before we decide to dine here again.
