This vendor did take my order 10 days prior to the date I needed which was great! But the morning…read moreI was supposed to pick up my cake luckily I checked my email and noticed I received a email from her at 5 AM asking to pick my cake up at a later time. Which threw my schedule off but I adjusted. She also, failed to inform me the cake wouldnt look like the picture I sent her. She did not discuss any details of what she couldn't do so I assumed she would be able to complete pretty close to what I sent. Not perfect, but close! The cake I sent(picture) had fondue but the cake I received was a basic sheet cake.. . Which she said was not over charged but cost $150! Which is probably the reason I recieved the email at 5am because a basic sheet cake only takes a few hours and my pick up changed from 9am to 11am, which I waited patiently in my car for 20mins because she needed a few minutes. Also, my 6 yr old son expressed he wanted toppers on his birthday cake(which was also in the picture I sent) but when I got the cake there was no toppers! And the first thing he said after singing happy birthday was "mom I thought I was going to get toys on my cake(toppers)? When I asked the vendor about the toppers after I picked it up she said there was not enough time. Maybe so, but she should have expressed that before taking my order. Maybe I could've ordered my own toppers. All the other vendors I checked with was less expensive but they informed me that I would have to provide my own toppers. If I would've known there would be no toppers I would've probably went with a less expensive vendor and saved $50. I did express this to the vendor and her best offer was if I order with her again I would get 12 dozen free treats. ‍ Not only that, I was for sure the cake would be good esp since I read good reviews, but I was disappointed there too, sadly. The cake did taste good but for some strange reason the top part of the cake(it was 2 layer) was hard. Kids dont care about cake as long as it is sweet but adults can tell! The bottom layer was super moist. Not sure what happened there. If you decide to go with this vendor be sure to go over every detail. The cake was nice but not what I asked for, and I feel like I was overcharged. Next cake is def coming from Sam's. I just took a L on this one.

His FIRST BIRTHDAY...a day that should've been filled with birthday cake moments for memories I will never get back! Went back to her trying to support my local business community...a "do over" of sorts. 2nd time gave pics and explicit instructions for 2 MILESTONE birthdays (13 and 50 shared bday) and still messed it up...I will not get this day back either. The baker and her assistants need to work on their artistry and give a CLEAN and refined as much as possible presentation of the cakes they create for their customers to even want to eat it...the sugar sheet bubbled, the icing was not smoothed completely (looked like something touched it or hit it)...cake quality is basic and on the dry side (she stated she doesn't use box cake)...icing flavor was good. I walked up to the counter and they said "sorry. Closed" I said "the door says you close at 10" and they said "We start our cleaning at 9:30. We are closed." Wish I could give ZERO stars... I read the awful reviews before going, I gave them the benefit of the doubt and thought "There's no way that all of those are true!" I should've listened!! I grew up going here and have many family memories at Marble Slab in CH. I couldn't be more disappointed in the owners allowing this service. From the sound of it, it's time to close their doors. As a business owner myself, this service is absurd! Save yourself the inconvenience & don't go. Trust the reviews!!!

It is disgusting. The counters weren't wiped down. The TV's were off, so you couldn't see any options. They apparently don't make their own waffle cones and waffle bowls anymore. They're store bought. Our ice cream was practically melting by the time we sat down. Last, but definitely not least.. the bathroom was absolutely disgusting. They made it unisex, but the problem is that there wasn't any toilet paper in there and all that could be used was paper towels. Ew. Never will enter that establishment again. Yuck.

They had a very disappointing meal here a couple of weeks ago, stating the food was lukewarm and they felt like they were not getting the weight they paid for.
