Well, my neighbor's won't be going back and they asked me to post so others are at least aware. They both eat out or get takeaway 5-6 nights a week. They had a very disappointing meal here a couple of weeks ago, stating the food was lukewarm and they felt like they were not getting the weight they paid for. So, this evening they decided to try again just to give it a second try. Yes! They were definitely shorting on the weight because this time they measured it the minute they got home. My family had to wait extremely long to order after being seated at this restaurant. The ladies waiting our table seemed aloof and distracted by other things the entire time. There was not a big crowd there and it was not busy. When the food arrived, items were mixing and my auntie had to ask several times for her dessert. Came with my mother for an early dinner and, quite frankly, this place is a hit or miss. We didn't have a long wait and we were seated immediately. Our waiter was attentive although he didn't know much about the menu. For drinks, I ordered the swomp thang and enjoyed it (be mindful that's it's a frozen drink). To start, I ordered a cup of seafood gumbo and house salad. I did enjoy both of these items and they were a nice starter before my main. I ordered the redfish bienville sub fries instead of green beans. The plate came with the green beans but was quickly replaced with what I ordered. Hats to the guys in the kitchen. The food is amazing! The front of the house does not work as a team! Sat in the bar area for 20 minutes! 10 minutes more and we would have walked out! From the looks of it, this place thrives on gossip more than working together to get the customers food and drink. Example: I sat and watched my drinks sit at the bar well for 15 minutes, 4 servers passed by, a manager and even the bartender didn't walk the drinks. Example: Asked the runner for ketchup when he delivered the food, he said he would be back, never showed up... nor did he pass the note to the server. Example 3: The servers disappear in the back, and I can only imagine what they are doing... but it's not with a sense of urgency. Ordered the seafood boil today and added 12 shrimp only got one corn two potatoes and the skinniest andouille sausage ever ! The crawfish were so small I couldn't get any meat out of most of them and almost half of them were already broken off spent 70$ overall and was sadly disappointed I really hate to keep singing the same song but this only happens in the black community read more

No crawfish during crawfish season. The seafood fondue appetizer was SMALLER than usual. Shrinkflation. Just charge more if prices have gone up. Don't bring out a half serving. Waiter was cute, but SLOW and inattentive. We sat an hour in a mostly empty restaurant during lunch. Food came out COLD because the server didn't bring it out when it was ready. I have been ordering the stuffed shrimp for a decade. Today the shrimp was sadly SMALLER. The stuffed shrimp is now mostly stuffing. Same price. We are celebrating Father's Day with family in Dallas and thought we would try something new. Our cousin got the jambalaya pasta which she thought was good but could have been a little spicer. She wanted the jambalaya rice but she couldn't get it as a side or with grilled chicken which was disappointing. Her husband got a frozen hurricane but he didn't care for it. It wasn't enough alcohol. He ordered the catfish platter and it was really good. My husband got the blackened catfish and I had the shrimp and catfish basket. We also had the boudin balls and the rat toes as a appetizer. Those were really good as well. The rat toes were spicy for anyone who likes a kick. The catfish and shrimp were good, especially with their house made hot sauce (similar to Louisiana Red Hot, my favorite). Hubby enjoyed the blackened fish as well. Where do I start. on my off day.. I want to do something for my self and I want to eat her because I worked 14 days in a row so the but that was a no go, the host was very busy so a server walked up and said something to the person who was picking up a DoorDash and then two white people walked in. He immediately greeted them and asked where they wanted to be seated throughout that whole time. We were still sitting there so I asked why he didn't ask us where we wanted to be seated and he proceeded to say I'm sorry, but I'm going to see them as for a manager. He was very nonchalant and a little sarcastic. I proceeded to tell him that I work in the industry if he ask around, he would know, but he really didn't care. I'm pretty patient but I also believe that you are never busy enough to not say "hello, welcome I'm sorry, I'll be with you shortly." Host was a nice young man. Short staffed I guess, but lots of empty tables. Just 2 but they sat a table of 1 much after walked in. Waited 20 minutes easily then finally got seated in the same section as the single. 10 minutes seated and no one said anything to us but passed several times. Not sure why , but I've never been a huge fan of Razzoo's. Nothing that they did wrong or anything, and I've never had a bad experience, i just simply Have never been big on them and their food. However, I am a huge crawfish fan and will almost never pass up a good deal on some. With it being crawfish season , Razzoos currently has a Tuesday special that includes 2 lbs of crawfish for $9.99. I was too excited to see that special . So I ordered 4 lbs, 2 lbs of the original and 2 lbs of the fire mouth. I wasn't dissatisfied but i also wasn't too excited either . Both flavors were bland and really had no flavor except for the large amounts of seasonings on top of them . One thing that I will say is that the crawfish were HUGE!!! I found two of them that I could have sworn they were baby lobsters . I also didn't really like the fact that the potatoes, corn and sausage came separately. The corn was overcooked and the sausage came in little tiny chunks, let's just say that they definitely weren't worth adding to the meal. The chances of me returning for crawfish are very slim. I know from past experiences, the drinks are usually decent so I'm likely to return for the drinks and maybe try something different on the menu like maybe a Po-boy sandwich. read more

My family and I are new to the area, and of course we eat out ever so often! When we were in the shopping center, we came across this restaurant. It did not disappoint! In fact, we've been back twice since our first visit. The first time around, I ordered the salad with fried chicken tenders on top. It was good, and filling! My son ordered the jambalaya pasta, and my husband got the seafood basket. It was a lot of food! It came with two catfish filets, and lots of shrimp, fries, and hush puppies. Pros My shrimp Po'Boy $10.on a toasted French roll was dressed well and the shrimp were golden brown seasoned perfectly. My jalapeño hush puppies did not make it to the plate until nearly the end of my meal and were saturated in oil. I'm disappointed I was unable to enjoy them. Fried okra served piping hot was another bonus appetizer and prepared quick. Rat Toes $7.99 are definitely spicy so prepare to exhale fire like a dragon. We came here for lunch on a Saturday. They weren't super busy. We were sat at an awkward table past multiple open tables at the far end of the room next to the kitchen. We sat for 10 minutes with no service, but we picked out our food, drinks, and just waited. There were two servers walking the room but never made eye contact or gave us any notice. Most tables already had food and were just being checked up on. Eventually I waved at the female server and asked if she knew who was working our table. She said it was the male server and she would tell him to come by. We waited about 3 more minutes during which the male server wandered the dining room checking on people and picking up empty dishes but never spoke to us or even looked at our table. A new group of customers was sat at the table next to us and immediately waited on. At that point we'd been waiting over 15 minutes without even a greeting or drinks and decided to leave.
