I sat down with a tech who told me she could do the checkered design (pictured) and was comfortable. She helped me pick the two colors and got started. During the filing process she made my cuticles bleed on three fingers. She did apologize, but the appointment only got more uncomfortable from there. When she pulled out the plastic tips to put on my nails for the set, she made a comment that my nails are too small and that she would have to trim down the tips. She then took small scissors and cut both sides of the plastic tip off and glued them onto my nails. There was no curve to them, they were very rectangular. She attempted the design twice before insisting it did not look good and told me that I needed to choose a new color. I told her I liked the design, she told me she felt it was not pronounced enough and insisted we use black. I told her that I didn't like black, it was just too dark for me but after her persistence I agreed to try it. She created the look with the black in place and then outlined in white. I thought it looked nice and was not upset at all about it afterward. When washing my hands at home after the visit I realized that all of the nails were very jumpy and had bubbles in them. My pinkie on my left hand was completely warped and basically flat because of the way she trimmed the tip. I had no time to go back and after that experience I truly didn't want to. I ended up going to another salon, which looked at my nails and before I could even tell them what happened, they told me that the nails I had needed total reforming and fixing before I could get a fill. When I told them what was done, they were in total shock. This could have been a fluke, maybe she was new or overwhelmed but I will not be returning.

In all fairness she has had other shop, so maybe he worked for her before. I came in and I was waiting for the hair dresser, they offered coffee, though it was nice but nothing special. I started to wonder in the small salon, because I like to observe hairdressers and how they work. Every time I got up she asked where I was going, first it was to the bathroom then to get sugar for my coffee. I was asked to sit down several times, it made me feel like grade school. Most shops are vibrant and lots is going on, not so with this shop. I then had my consultation and the hairdresser told me he had only worked there a few months. I got the consultation which I gave it 2 stars because I felt the hairdresser tried very hard. Then I was given the price. For a color cut and highlights it was $180.00. I have very short hair and most salons in other places I live go by the length of your hair. I walked out of there and said I know how they came up with the name, because they give you the price and you say wow. Now I can understand the price if my hair had been long. They have a lot to learn about running a exclusive salon. I have lived in big cities and have gone to the best. But you get special treatment and WOW lacked that wow factor!
